Lighthouses
Established in 1839, the south pier has two lights, both painted red, that are connected by a lighted catwalk. The inner light is cylindrical while the outer one is square. Many people enjoy walking along the catwalk (depending on weather and wave action).
Musical Fountain
Built in 1962, the Musical Fountain is still one of the favorite attractions! In one typical performance, the fountain will process over 90,000 gallons of water - synchronized with lights and music.
Boardwalk
The boardwalk is three miles round trip and runs along the harbor - lined with shops, restaurants, marinas and charter fishing boats. Along the path, there are also grassy areas and benches for people to sit, relax and soak in the views. The boardwalk also borders the Grand River channel and travels out to Lake Michigan, ending at the catwalk to the lighthouses
Area Beaches
Enjoy the soft, golden sands on various area beaches! The beach is often the main attraction in Grand Haven with people splashing in the water and soaking up the sun
Harbor Trolley
The Harbor Trolley offers narrated tours of the area where riders can learn about some of the history and culture of the area!
Area Parks
You can enjoy the outdoors, no matter what time of year! Area parks offer experiences from hiking dunes, strolling beaches to exploring trails through dense forest land.
Biking Trails
With over 100 miles of bike paths throughout the area, you have your choice of where to go! Free bike route maps are available at some local businesses, or online!
Charter Fishing
Grand Haven has one of the largest charter boat fishing fleets on Lake Michigan. Experienced captains and their crews can provide everything from licenses to lunch - even clean and ice your catch - so all you have to do is come aboard and enjoy the day!

Area Beaches
One of the most coveted resources of Holland is its coastline on Lake Michigan and the beaches that go with it. There are a few different beaches in the area, all that offer a slightly difference experience. They even have a 24/7 beach cam at Holland State Park!
Visit the Holland Museum
Take a crash course in the fascinating history of Holland by visiting the Holland Museum. The main level has permanent exhibitions, as well as temporary ones, and the gift shop. the second floor contains Dutch Galleries, and the lower level is the collection of books, papers, and photographs in the Archives and Research Library
Downtown Restaurants
There is a variety of restaurants in the downtown area, from fine dining in a Bavarian restaurant to casual dining in an Irish Pub Besides the bistros, pubs, grills and restaurants - there are also cafes and shops that cater to smaller and sweeter appetites!
Big Red Lighthouse
Holland's beloved and popular "Big Red" lighthouse, which stands proudly at the south side of the Holland Channel, has a long and rich history dating back to the first structure built on that site in 1870. Currently it is owned and maintained by a non-profit lighthouse commission and is Michigan's Most Photographed Lighthouse!
Visit Windmill Island
You can tour up into DeZwaan, the only authentic Dutch windmill operating in the United States, grinding locallygrown wheat into flour. Throughout Windmill Island Gardens, you'll also find more costumed guides, an Amsterdam street organ, a hand painted Dutch carousel, children's playground, picnic areas, all the flags of the Netherlands, horses in the back pasture, a replica of a Dutch Inn, gift shops and so much more! In the Spring time, over 100,000 tulips bloom throughout the Gardens. Check out their Sky Cam.
Shopping Downtown
Downtown Holland's beautiful Victorian architecture, brick sidewalks and outdoor sculptures offer the perfect atmosphere for a cozy, quaint and unique shopping experience. With over 200 businesses, including art galleries, wine tasting and shops that feature men's, women's and children apparel, home and outdoor furnishings, home accents, books, music, sporting goods, jewelry, gifts and more.

Muskegon has 26 miles of sandy beaches, including a nationally-certified clean beach, Pere Marquette Park. There are three state parks and seven county parks!

Michigan's Adventure Amusement & Water Park
Michigan's largest amusement and water park, offering two parks for the price of one Michigan's Adventure has over 60 rides and attractions, including their world-class wooden roller coaster, Shivering Timbers - over one mile long and 125 feet tall. They also have plenty of kiddie rides to keep the little ones busy!
Muskegon Luge and Adventure Sports Park
The only publicly accessible luge track in the country! People of all ages and athletic ability can learn to luge on the 850 foot ice track designed by Olympian Frank Masley. They also offer the only fiberglass, wheel luge track in North America for the summer months! The park also has over two acres of outdoor ice skating (including a skating trail through the wood ) il of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails along the Lak Michigan shoreline
Maritime Attractions
As one of the deepest ports in the Great Lakes, mariti attractions are a must see! You can visit a lighthouse, the USS LST 393 Veterans Museum, USS Silversides Submarine Museum or the S S Milwaukee Clipper Yo even go onto Muskegon Lake aboard the Aquastar.
Lumber Reflection
Muskegon was once known as the "Lumber Queen of the World" Lumber Baron Charles Hackley's legacy includes renowned Muskegon Museum of Art, Hackley Park, the Hackley & Hume Historic Site and so much more.
