relax Arrive on Friday, unpack, relax with a drink on the terrace.

Catch up with old friends, watch the sun go down, enjoy a simple, local, home cooked supper.

Saturday morning healthy breakfast, walk down to the beach, take a breath, have a dip, a cliff walk, or be first back for the the cedar barrel sauna.

Gather for a glass of champagne, then wedding celebration in the canvas marquee followed by tea party in the big tin barn. then a bit more chatting and relaxing before evening hog roast with home grown salads.

Then dancing shoes on for a ceilidh in the barn.

Sunday morning reviving BBQ brunch from 10pm (anyone for a bloody mary?)

The location, Manorafon sits in the ancient wooded valley of the Hoff Nant or‘Dear Stream’ which cuts through the valley to the magnificent national trust beach at Penbryn, ten minutes walk away.

Our guests enjoy the remote and safe location, outstanding views and the quiet, beautiful and expansive beach. There is direct access to the coastal path with easy clifftop walks west to the villages of Tresaith and Aberporth and east to Llangranog; stunning walk, great eating and drinking including traditional ice cream parlour, Y Llong pub and restaurant and excellent fish and chips at ‘Y Caban’ overlooking the beach.

Ty manorafon For the main wedding group, the house at manorafon is ideal.

Originally a Georgian farmhouse, t天 manorafon has been beautifully updated, authentically finished and comfortably furnished.

T天 manorafon sleeps between 8-10 guests in 4 bedrooms with one bedroom and shower room on ground floor for easier access.

Manorafon is a long established camp with a history as an old dairy farm. The house, T天 Manorafon, is at the heart of the camp, in a private garden with plenty of outside space.

The site covers around 10 acres, with 5 wood cabins arranged to take advantage of the views down the valley.

The nomad tents are sited in a sheltered grassy field close to the lodge, whilst the domes are a little more private, each set in its own secluded spot. The lodge is a converted stable block with wooden canopied terrace where breakfast is usually served, but also somewhere to relax, with sofas in front of the woodburner, or chairs and benches to soak up the view from the terrace down to the sea.

cabins All of our cabins feature an open plan kitchen / dining / living area, shower / bathroom and a decked terrace outside 6 Berth Cabins have one double and either two twin rooms or a twin and a bunk room.

4 Berth cabins have one double and one twin room.

All bedding is provided, but you will need to bring your own toiletries and towels

nomads The nomad—where it all started.

Our traditional Dutch tunnel tent, with two optional internal sleeping pods so that 2 couples can share in relative privacy or you can snuggle the children up for the evening in their own little “bedroom” while you carry on relaxing on the deck.

At Manorafon we only offer a 4 of these tents - a small cluster of nomads around a field perimeter overlooking an expanse of open space - so it really feels like your own little bit of paradise.

domes The dome, made famous at fforest, with its solid wood floor, bespoke furnishings and the view from that giant bay window.. It's the perfect romantic getaway with its king size bed with feathersoft duvet and pillows, but transforms into every family's camping dream when you pull out the single futon mattresses.

For spring 2013 we will be introducing the honeymoon dome , located in beautiful isolation it will be fitted to a level of comfort and beauty that, once slept in, will guarantee a life of argument free bliss.

Our food We barbeque local meat and fish on charcoal we make in the woods.

We bake bread and pizza in our wood fired oven. We stew over our firepit, roast beasts on our spit.

The quality of food available to us is outstanding. local lamb, pork, beef, fish, cheeses, vegetables.

With ingredients this good we prefer to keep it simple. but we can plan any menu to suit your requirements
