COURTNEY PUCKETT Anchor Long Gold Loaded Palm. Courage to Pit Achieving Pioneer Emperor. Calm Harmonious Jellyfish Support Process. Sell Collective Mystical Smog Sigh is a sculptural installation composed of 20 repurposed wooden window frames wrapped in reclaimed textiles. Drawn from an evolving archive the artist has compiled over the past five years in sketchbook notes, poems, and reflections while studying and reading tarot, each panel is assigned a color and word corresponding to one of the four elements—earth, air, fire, water. Arranged in a rhythmic sequence of five words per element, the grid-like architecture of the frames supports textile compositions that mimic letterforms. Assembled into a single linear, room-dividing screen, the structure extends along the Blue Lobby corridor of the Pacific Design Center, forming a visual and conceptual passageway, a tactile sculptural poem.

Green Lobby Exhibit ASHER KELMAN “BIOFORMS” Asher Kelman is a sculptor and fine art photographer based in Beverly Hills. Trained as a physician and scientist—MD, PhD, board-certified radiation oncologist and microbiologist—he brings a scientist's precision and three decades of fine art photography to his sculptural practice. His permanent public sculpture Puff of Wind, a 13,000-pound, 35-foot kinetic stainless steel work, stands at the Long Beach Museum of Art. The Bioforms are sculptures built from continuous curvature and hierarchical structure — organic forms that convey the presence of life without imitating any single living thing, each balancing asymmetry with void treated as structure in its own right. Kelman's “Bioforms” will be featured at the Pacific Design Center, installed across the Green and Blue Lobbies, opening September 2026.

PDC Design Gallery GILT & SHADOW: THE ART OF NEIL LANE
The PDC Design Gallery is pleased to announce Gilt and Shadow: The Art of Neil Lane, and exhibition of works by Neil Lane that will be on view from September 18-December 5, 2026. For more than half a century, Neil Lane has led a double life. To the world, he is one of the most celebrated jewelers of his generation—the cultivated eye behind red carpet icons--a name synonymous with glamor and design. But since childhood in the 1960s, Lane has also been quietly making art—a private practice unseen even by many who know him well, a practice that has run parallel to his glittering public career for decades. This exhibition is his first public act of disclosure. Across five decades, Lane’s private art practice has taken many forms, evolving in material and approach even as its underlying preoccupations—memory, trauma, beauty, and redemption— have remained. Gilt and Shadow traces this arc from Lane’s childhood work to his recent mature oeuvre, revealing an artist who has been in continuous dialogue with his own history all along.
