Patrick Frey, Chairman and Creative Director for La Maison Pierre Frey, finds inspiration around the world – from travel, exhibitions, discussions, archives, or even the street. “We are typically French in our tradition and expertise,” Patrick Frey affirms, “but we won’t achieve anything by keeping ourselves to ourselves.” It is in his studio that a rug found on the sidewalk or a visit to a show on aboriginal art becomes the genesis for a fabric, wallpaper or carpet and rug collection.
