ASID Student Career Day and Student Design Excellence Awards Registration begins at 9:30AM, DCOTA Atrium A Calling all students – join ASID Florida South for the Annual Student Career Day “Design your Debut” where you’ll discover many different paths and opportunities available to you in the design field.

Students will enjoy a Keynote Panel comprised of professionals from all aspects of the industry. These professionals will provide insights on careers available, how to choose which one is best for you, and how to get hired in that industry. It will also feature a Q&A panel with Educators from each school in the ASID Florida South chapter.

And for the very first time, ASID Florida South Chapter will hold the Student Design Excellence Awards during the Student Career Day Luncheon. Students will be able to submit projects to be judged and win awards.

This event is free to students and educators, but RSVP is mandatory by April 21st to reserve a seat at the luncheon (complimentary lunch provided).

2017 STARS OF DESIGN AND STARS ON THE RISE DCOTA was honored to host Stars of Design Awards and Stars on the Rise where more than 250 guests celebrated 26 talented and creative professionals in nine unique industry categories.

The winners were honored for their significant achievements and contributions to their profession and within the Florida community with a special recognition of talents, ideas, creativity and business savvy. The evening included an Award Ceremony led by Cohen Design Center CEO, Charles Cohen, and a cocktail reception that honored all winners and nominees.

These cards also grant designer’s access to the VIP Designer Parking Lot nearest to the Main Entrance, should they wish to self-park.
