WHAT’S HAPPENING AT COE?

COE OFFERS 60+ MAJORS AND AREAS OF STUDY with multiple programs added in the last year.

AVIATION MANAGEMENT & FLIGHT OPERATIONS - Gain crucial hands on experience just minutes from campus. Our aeronautical feld station at CID provides exposure to high trafc terminal operations and the most popular domestic and international airlines in the world.

ENGINEERING PHYSICS - Put your engineering analytical skills to the test. Our urban Cedar Rapids campus is a hands on haven, surrounded by advanced manufacturing companies, including expertise in the aerospace and defense industries.

RISK MANAGEMENT/INSURANCE - The risk management and insurance industries are experiencing signifcant growth. Risk management students learn to proactively identify, assess and control threats to an organization’s capital, earnings and operations to prevent and minimize potential problems — a valuable skill!

* To receive the full scholarship amount, students are expected to live on campus. Commuter students are not eligible for full tuition scholarships.

+ Winners of full tuition awards are not eligible for any other Coe funded fnancial aid.

COLLEGE CREDIT OPTIONS

AP & IB CREDIT:

Scores of four or higher on AP exams.

Scores of fve or higher on IB high level exams.

Coe accepts up to eight advanced courses total. Only select AP and IB courses are accepted for credit.

COLLEGE COURSEWORK:

Students must receive a grade of “C” or greater.

Must closely resemble a Coe College course.

FINANCIAL AID

Financial aid is intended to assist with the expenses of a student’s educational investment. For the 2024 25 academic year, Coe provided 100% of our new students with fnancial aid.

Priority deadline to fle the FAFSA: March 1, 2026

Students with special circumstances are encouraged to call the Ofce of Financial Aid at 877.CALL.COE to learn more about fling the proper forms.

APPLYING FOR ADMISSION

Students have the option to apply using the Coe College Application or the Common Application.

TRANSCRIPTS:

Students may be admitted based on self reported scores provided we eventually receive ofcial transcripts that confrm their scores.

Ofcial transcripts can be submitted to Coe using one of the following methods:

Common Application (If the student has submitted the Common Application to Coe College)

LETTER(S) OF RECOMMENDATION:

Although students are not required to provide a letter of recommendation, they may be submitted via the Common Application, email, phone (877. CALL.COE) or online (www.coe. edu/admission recommendation).

ACT OR SAT SCORES:

Under Coe’s test optional policy, students are not required to submit a standardized test with their application for admission. Go to apply.coe.edu/portal/test optional policy for full details.
