8,760—the number of hours in a year. It is crazy to me that that so many of these hours are focused on the one hour it’s going to take to have this bull sale. The number of hours breeding, calving, caring for, testing, clipping, marketing, and building a catalog are astronomical. The last Saturday in February is, without question, the most important day for our operation—an opportunity to serve in your selection of genetics. We put forth the best product possible, with rigid culling standards and a customer-first approach.
Studying the carcass data, I can honestly say this is the most powerful set of bulls we’ve offered to date. We’ve maintained the structure, mass, scrotal and quality while adding another gear of muscle and added doability. I’m very proud of these bulls and the reputation our bulls are gathering for their performance on hoof and their offspring’s carcass merit. We’re continuing to see increased demand for CCC genetics, with feeders/order buyers inquiring about sale details for our customers’ smokes or butterscotch calves.
From customers who become friends, to those who help with the day-to-day at the ranch: this is a family and friends kind of operation, and without all, we wouldn’t be here. My wife is the cornerstone handling the marketing, social media, catalog, and more. My dad and Stacey help with our kids, grab a night check during calving season and anything else. My brother, Mason, led getting NWSS bulls ready and pulls up any slack when I need it. Austin and Rusty Carter working, hauling, processing, and feeding cattle. The Mikesell boys helped Sam, our hired hand, while we’re in Denver. Plus our cooperators, the Toews; the Denver crew; those who lease us pasture and my grandma, Buzzy, for being a CCC mainstay. The list could go on and on but I’m forever grateful and appreciative of our customers’ support and our team’s efforts.

BULL GUARANTEE
Unless otherwise noted, all the breeding age bulls will have passed a breeding soundness exam prior to pick up/delivery. In addition to the standard Terms and Conditions of the American International Charolais Association we will provide the first breeding season (the 90-day period immediately following turn out) guarantee on all yearling and older bulls. This guarantee is not an insurance or mortality policy, but a guarantee on functional fertility. It is not a substitute or replacement for poor management. Buyer assumes all risks for injury due to running bulls together or management decisions outside genetic control. For the guarantee to apply, we ask that you contact us as soon as a condition is observed and before the animal is sold. We will work with you to determine whether the animal is returned or sold for slaughter. We will attempt to provide a suitable replacement. If one cannot be provided of equal or greater value, we will issue a sale credit to be used in a future sale for the full purchase price less the salvage value of the animal.
RETAINED SEMEN INTEREST
Cody Cattle Company will retain 1/3 semen interest in all Cody Cattle Company bulls selling unless otherwise stated. The buyer of bull will get 100% salvage value for the bull when his service is done.

Videos of the sale cattle will be available online the week prior to the sale.
VIDEO AUCTION
All cattle will sell while being viewed on large screen monitors in the sale facility. There will be multiple large screens playing videos of the animals while the respective animal is being auctioned. Cattle will not come into the sale ring during the auction and we will not travel through equipment during the auction. Please make plans to arrive early and preview the sale offering prior to selling.
TRUCKING
Free delivery within 200 miles and $50 sale credit if bull purchase is picked up the day of sale. Otherwise, please contact the sales team for assistance with transportation for your cattle purchases. We will work with volume buyers and those outside the 200-mile delivery range.

He’s the hottest thing going. Redemption provides structure, quality, and look while breeding stouter than I would’ve guessed.
JOHN BROWN
He’s the easiest calving Milestone son we’ve used. Still offers the punch and shape his lineage suggests.
PROBITY
Our go-to heifer bull. Probity has perfect feet and legs. His easy-doing, stout kind don’t go out of style. He’s the most prolific breeding bull we’ve used.
It takes a pretty special one to make me nervous, and this guy makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Structure, performance, quality, mass, and scrotal: he checks all the boxes while being backed by an easy-doing, awesomeuddered mama. This bull not only looks stout but reads the same with a 20.57 act REA. Old timers say a herd sire is only great if he replaces himself, and Mescalito just did that.
Selling choice of spring or fall possession. Retaining 1/2 semen interest. Option to double the bid for full possession and 2/3 semen interest.
When your herd is focused around 2 animals and then said animals reproduce, you hope that said animal is legit. We feel that 3019 is, and our only mistake is letting him be raised at the embryo center in a dry lot all summer. He came to us green, and he’s been playing catch-up, but his look, structural correctness, and scrotal are next level. We feel in another 60 days he will be a favorite. Retaining 1/3 semen interest.
A durable, rugged rascal with extra dimension. I love his mother; she is heavy milking and stout made, yet a lady-like Resource daughter.
If you want them opened up, super stout and robust take a look here. He’s a full brother to the lead off fall bull (2614), that’s probably one of the best scanning bulls with an actual REA of almost 20 inches and an IMF score of 3.71. Guys retaining ownership: take notice.
This guy would be a 3/4 sib to “Miles,” a featured lot last year, going to our Nebraska friends—the Brobergs and Hebberts. 3071 possesses a similar look, stoutness, and presence of his big brother. The dam, 800, is a powerhouse brood-cow that is going to the donor pen, as she gave us another bull calf on 1/26/24.
Probably one of the flashier Mescalito sons in the offering. He’s a tad younger but super stylish and still boasts an actual REA of 18.75.
REDEMPTION SONS
Naturally, the full brother that we didn’t picture would scan the largest REA of 21.70. 3020’s a very extended, balanced, and cleanmade bull with a huge back.
The Englert family brought us this PA-free son of Force of Nature at weaning, and he continues to impress. If one had the notion to promote 301L, they’ve already got him halter broke. High quality, square built, good legged ones are always in demand. PRESENTED WITH ENGLERT FAMILY
JP told me this summer that we had a pretty unique calf at the side of Phoebe. He was correct; this guy is good stock. He’s pound-for-pound as much muscle, density, and quality as you can put in one. His biggest problem is he was born in March. If a guy can get past his maturity and study the good in this calf, one is likely to really appreciate him. In my 20 years of collecting ultrasound data I’ve never had a bull with a 1.94 REA/cwt. Very impressive for a March calf to scan a 19.62 inch REA. His mother is incredible; his sire is as hot as a $2 pistol; and Zeus fits the bill.
Soft haired, extended front, and nice balanced are buzz words that excite part of the industry we don’t deal with much. But when a bull has this with a square hard foot, flex at the ground and genuine width and performance we appreciate it. He’s the lightest muscled of the full brothers only scanning a 19.24 in REA.
There are bulls that think they’re bad then there’s 3026 that knows he bad. He’s had the herd bull presence and arrogance since he was born. Extra cocky looking with the “butts, guts and nuts” you’d expect from a promising herd sire. This beast looks the part and has all the goods— large scrotal and a 20.75 in actual REA. He and his brother are the reason we’ve flushed 6644 back this way and have more coming spring and fall.
AD ASTRA SONS
This Ad Astra x 0019 has all the big bells and whistles. Extra foot, bone, muscle, and width while mashing the scales. And over a 20 inch REA to boot on this man. This is a true performance beef bull. We love our Ad Astra calves and are going head first this breeding season with him. Let 3008 propel your program.
His 3/4 sister commanded $40,000 at our first female sale and went on to
dominant show heifer and cow for MaKayla Houck. This bull’s extra substance, extension, performance, and scan data (19.66 actual REA) are reasons Ad Astra has us so fired up.
This chunky beef bull fires me up. He’s just different enough pedigreed to be an outcross for some breeders. His dam is an ultra feminine, ideal

When first-calf heifers calve easy, grow good-looking, heavy calves and breed up quick, it makes a guy happy. 3004’s beautiful Miles Ahead-Resource dam did a great job and this guy fires us up. Sound, soggy, square and progressive on paper. He doesn’t take a lot of convincing to like.
This is the first run for the Mescalito daughters and we are liking the Gunslinger mix. There’s muscle (19 inch REA), belly shape and depth, while maintaining a look of quality.
When your heifer bull can give you a sub 80 lb. BW and 19.5 REA with some growth and middle, we call that a win. This guy is good functional stock.

MESCALITO SONS
A carbon copy to his old man. Shape, muscle, scrotal, and looks for days. With nearly a 20-inch ribeye and being backed by a 12-year-old donor, there’s bred-in punch and longevity. 2614 is also a 3/4 sib to the $28,000 Resurgence bull.
2625 is a full sib in blood to the Lot 2 bull and backed by the great 6644. He’s square, dense, good looking and wide built. If they all looked and performed like him, this would be easy.
No matter what your kind of bull, it’s hard not to appreciate this guy. The muscle and grow for the terminal guys and the softness, structure, and scrotal for the cow guys. This guy is very complete and needs to be put back on white cows.
We really like what Red Kingdom is doing here. He’s adding some extension but maintaining the power and punch we desire. Note the
inch REA on this guy. 2500’s dam is probably the most robust and opened up Blue Value cow on the place.
I’m not sure where to start on this guy. He gets his modern build and cocky looks from his daddy but his mass, middle and punch from the timetested 224. Not to mention, he boasts the highest ever IMF score of 6.13.
Be sure and read the supplement sheet as I haven’t decided if I need another Redemption son running around or not.

Of all the full brother matings we’ve made, this one is the most different. 2615 has, by far, the cutest head, cleanest and most extended front, yet still offers the squareness and extra rib shape this mating has become accustomed to.
