Hearing is Believing

Since the company’s inception, the sole objective has been to bring the best possible audio to the masses, and become the number one choice in professional sound systems around the globe. It’s easier said than done, of course, but hearing is believing. We want to make a real statement with our products so that Sound Engineers, Installers, Audio Consultants, System Engineers, and anyone else with a passion for audio will only see CODA as their go-to brand for any application: music clubs to full-scale international tours, West End and Broadway productions, permanent and temporary installs, AV events, exhibitions, houses of worship. No job is too big or too small.
As live shows continue to grow and evolve, so must the sonics. Be it a rock and roll night at the local club or a massive stadium tour, the demand is now universal; deliver great sound. The same can also be said for any music exhibition, theatre production, or AV events. As these productions and setups get bigger, smarter, and bolder, the expectation on the shoulders of the guys and girls flying the faders and specifying the spaces increases, and there are fewer excuses for bad audio.
And that is why CODA Audio refuses to compromise. In order to be number one, you simply cannot afford to be conventional, and when you’re talking about sound reproduction, you have to think outside the box to fine tune what will happen inside the box. In CODA’s case, it starts with the drivers. A whole new range of bespoke, ultra-efficient drivers, which feature none of the fundamental flaws found in traditional equivalents. In short, it means CODA’s sonic prowess is unparalleled, as only the most accurate and crystal clear, full spectrum sound audio is produced.

It’s one thing having the potential, it’s quite another reaching that potential, and that’s why CODA’s key team members have been carefully selected from the top drawer. It’s a passionate and meticulous team effort all around.
From concept to completion, everything is done from scratch at CODA, fitting with the company ethos. In manufacturing, it’s those cool little touches, such as the specially-designed pins that make stacking and arraying the boxes quick and easy, as well as the groundbreaking driver technologies and electronics at the heart of the loudspeakers themselves, that make this company unique – and every piece has been designed and constructed in-house.
Then there’s CODA’s unique twist on technical support – an area which can so often let a good product down in practice. With technical teams deployed in all key territories for direct customer support and distribution, you’ll never be far away from a helping hand. And, of course, people invest in people. Enter CODA’s smartthinking marketing and sales team, and product specialists, a core team of committed, vastly experienced, knowledgeable professionals, all of whom share that same CODA headspace.

DDP & DDC drivers redefine the performance expectations for high-powered reinforcement of mid and high frequencies.
Discarding the traditional dome diaphragm compression driver design, CODA Audio utilises a 3-way coaxial system employing two concentric annular ring diaphragms. Each diaphragm covers a smaller frequency range for increased power handling, high dynamics and extremely low distortion.
CODA’s patented Dual Diaphragm Planar wave driver (Fig. 1) is at the heart of the AiRAY, CiRAY, ViRAY and N-RAY line array systems. This driver technology provides several advantages:
Fidelity: Unlike dome diaphragms, annular ring diaphragms feature wings that are smaller than the wavelengths they reproduce. The diaphragms move in phase, creating far less audible and measurable intermodulation distortion than speakers equipped with traditional drivers, especially at high frequencies.
Frequency Range: The outer wings of planar ring diaphragms extend the radius of the diaphragm when compared to traditional compression drivers of equal voice coil size. This greater surface area allows for a lower crossover point and more consistent overall directivity.
Sensitivity: CODA DDP wave drivers are far more efficient than traditional compression wave drivers. They boast 3–5 dB higher sensitivity than the top quality conventional alternatives. The low-profile annular ring diaphragms have a double surround supporting a reduced moving mass resulting in a much stiffer and far more efficient transducer with no breakup modes.

At the heart of the APS and APS-Pro loudspeakers are patented Dual Diaphragm Curved wave drivers (as in Fig. 2).
The larger annular mid-range diaphragm covers the frequency range 400–6500 Hz with a smooth, linear response. The extended diaphragm excursion of max. +/– 0.8 mm results in high output and increased power handling up to 1300 W peak. The ultra-light annular diaphragm for the high range offers exceptional transient response with very high efficiency from 6 to 22 kHz.

This distinctive new transducers were engineered to radiate a true coherent curved wave front form a rectangular piston without internal diffraction for superior dispersion control and crystal clear full spectrum sound. The patented designs are a result of extensive, dedicated research and development providing dramatic improvement in dynamic response, clarity and transparency.
At the heart of N-APS is a string of patented technologies, the unique RDC (Ring Diaphragm Curved wave driver) – similar to CODA’s planar wave driver, but with a bit of a twist, in that the wavefront is curved at 20°. This ultimately means there is less distortion, and no reshaping is required, so it offers extraordinary sonic precision.
As a result, when you put more N-APS together, they perform as one single cabinet, with no interference whatsoever.

DAC technology is integrated into every model in the CiRAY and N-SERIES as well as into the HOPS-Pro and APS-Pro loudspeakers, using thermal induction by utilising a single-piece aluminium construction, in turn preserving the sound.
Putting an immense amount of power into a speaker cabinet required a new design and a new thermal concept: the front baffle and vents are made from aluminium with all
increasing the thermal capacity of the system.
Applying more power increases the airflow in the vents, conducting more heat away from the drivers, and distributing that heat outside the enclosure. The DAC technology dramatically improves heat dissipation, doubling the power handling and the maximum SPL capability compared to a conventionally cooled system.

4. CODA Coupler behaves as a single waveguide, producing a unified wavefront without diffraction

Couplers for AiRAY, CiRAY, ViRAY and N-RAY solve a common problem for line arrays as well as for arrayable point source in APS and N-APS.
Coverage: Once the mid and high frequencies behave correctly it is necessary to tackle the inconsistent horizontal coverage of line arrays. A typical narrowing of coverage between 150 and 1000 Hz (Fig. 4) is the main reason users count on a “90 degree” line array for much less than its specifications, leading to extra outfills being specified.
All drivers in CODA line arrays are loaded to a Coupler. This design combines the energy produced and allows the element to perform as a single source without phase destruction, achieving a coherent and uniform wavefront (Fig. 3). The Coupler design also determines the horizontal on-axis and off-axis frequency response (Fig. 5).

The performance of subwoofers can be unpredictable due to the non-linear distortion produced by the subwoofer itself, especially under high power conditions. CODA’s subwoofers and low frequency extensions are designed to overcome this problem. The transducers in CODA’s sensor controlled low frequency elements contain an integrated velocity sensor that measures LF diaphragm movement in real time and compares it with the audio input signal. This proprietary sensor controlled technology is a self-optimising, closed feedback loop that precisely determines how much power the driver needs to accurately reproduce the original audio signal. Any distortion produced by the driver or the enclosure is instantly corrected.
The result is a line of well-behaved, crystal clear full spectrum sound, highpowered CODA subwoofers that allow the system designer to approach low frequency reinforcement with the same detail, sophistication, and confidence as the rest of the audio spectrum.

All CODA systems are phase-linear and will work together without compromise. This eliminates the need to apply destructive processing when combining different elements in complex systems.
Ease of use
Compatibility between products
Fewer potential reliability issues in complex systems
Better fidelity and more faithful imaging
Attaining phase linearity is no simple task. A heavier processing load with a longer time window (typically 45 – 60 ms) is normally required to achieve a linear phase response that extends into the lower frequency range.
The secret to CODA’s DS-FIR is multi-sampling with a combination of filters, each set to a length that is precisely adapted to the virtual and acoustical crossover points. CODA’s proprietary combination of filters results in a loudspeaker system with incredible fidelity and precise impulse response aligned over the loudspeakers’ complete frequency and operating range.
While many of today’s professional loudspeakers feature a linear frequency response — exhibiting a frequency response that remains the same regardless of output level — very few feature a linear phase response, and are often not phase-compatible with other loudspeakers in their own product lines. Such arrangements require additional, time-intensive system tuning. CODA systems offer linearity not just for each individual element, but for the entire system, right out of the box.

Audio quality, power, efficiency, size and weight are the key determinants of sound system choice. CODA Audio’s line arrays meet the combined requirements of these criteria ahead of any other manufacturer. With our patented DDP driver (Dual Diaphragm Planar wave driver) and SC (Sensor Controlled) subs, CODA Audio leads the way in meeting the exacting demands of today’s global market.
High Output, Long Throw, Full Range Line Array System
High Output, Full Range Line Array System

Compact Line Array System

CODA Audio has a range of line array systems which cover every type and scale of application. For small venues of every kind, the ultra compact TiRAY delivers unparalleled crystal clear full spectrum sound and intelligibility. In medium to large venues N-RAY and ViRAY continue the theme of exceptional clarity with high SPL, whilst AiRAY and CiRAY sets a completely new standard in power and flexibility to cover everything up to Arena and Stadium applications. Unique to CODA is that the form factor (width-wise) of both ViRAY CiRAY and AiRAY (VCA) is identical, allowing them to be flown in the same hang. Further to that, the sensor-controlled bass extensions also share the same form factor. This enables them to be flown in the same hang or directly behind, avoiding interference with sight lines to video screens and stage sets. Their flexibility, adaptability and sheer quality, makes CODA Audio line arrays the perfect multi purpose systems for any rental or installation company.
Ultra Compact Line Array System

Ultra Compact Line Array System

As well as offering the most flexible and reliable solution in terms of applications, we’re proud to offer the most compact option on the market. Where else will you find a whole range of speakers that can be flown together with no specialist equipment needed? With the VCA range, everything is tailored to convenience. In spite of a smaller size, CODA line arrays offer more bass and higher SPL than anything else on the market, and even use fewer amplifier channels.
The VCA range is designed to be a rental company’s best friend. As well as saving time and crew in setup, the speakers are far better for trucking, and a friend of the environment too. Rather than six or seven different systems, why not one family that can achieve results in every scenario? Some clients need long throw while some need cardioid deployments, some will focus on vocal applications whereas others need speakers to handle the challenges of a full orchestral setup. Our speaker system can be deployed in so many different setups and retain the same quality, whether a small and intimate setup is called for, or you’re setting up in a huge venue. For rental companies, this means fewer restrictions on how you can use the equipment, more flexibility, and ultimately a far improved ROI. Your equipment can spend less time in storage, and more time on the road, doing its job. No matter what is needed, CODA’s line array system provides crystal clarity in a compact system that stands alone in the industry. With our audio family, the possibilities are limitless.

The AiRAY and ViRAY family of line arrays recently welcomed their newest member, CiRAY, providing even more flexibility and deployment options.
CiRAY builds upon the revolutionary speakers that came before. First, we pushed the boundaries of what was possible with ViRAY, before creating the innovative AiRAY speakers. Now, there’s a new model, providing even more versatility and convenience.
We call our VCA line arrays a family. They’re made from the same handmade CODA DNA, and they work as a unit in whatever configuration you require while still being sonically superior to anything else on the market.
Our innovations mean that the speakers not only work together flexibly and coherently, they are also much more cost-effective and accurate than the competition.
All of the benefits we can offer are down to the unique technologies within, DDP, DAC, Couplers, and DS-FIR for unrivalled phase response, regardless of your chosen deployment, plus have the tightest and cleanest low-end on the market thanks to our patented sensor control technologies.

Whether it’s an arena, a stadium, a festival, a theatre, or any other setting, you can mix and match the VCA family, including a range of bass extensions and subwoofers, to suit the task at hand. Audiences from 200 up to 50,000 can all be perfectly catered for using one family of speakers. Being more compact, our speakers also save on space in the truck and are lightweight and simple to set up.
These speakers are totally configurable and interchangeable. Unlike other bespoke systems which are fixed format, the ViRAY, AiRAY, and CiRAY family is an ecosystem, built to give you more control. Further flexibility in the VCA family comes from variable horizontal coverage provided by our unique coupler design, allowing you to tailor the coverage perfectly to your venue and audience and control the direction of sound.
The speakers have all been optimised to be driven by our LINUS amplifiers and can also be paired with SCV-F, SC2-F, and SCP-F for an even more impactful low end.
CODA’s innovative design strips away the complications of fixed formats. All of these speakers hang together and boast the same form factor to fit within the frame. No more worrying about hardware or wasting time working out how you’re going to fly or stack your systems. CODA’s systems can be set up for the throw you need at any venue or outdoor event, retaining crystal clarity and full spectrum frequency response in the process. The VCA family is also designed with a range of accessories to transport and protect your system including ground-stack adaptors and durable covers. There are dollies available, plus LIDs cleverly allow you to stack on top to achieve a much tighter truck pack.
Speaker setups often come with compromise. Many of the speakers on the market used for live applications overlap in their frequency response, or worse, leave gaps. CODA’s line arrays are full-range speakers providing elite performance for every genre, every sound, and every detail. This is true whatever configuration of speakers you decide to use.

The units within the audio system may be unique, but they align physically, electronically, and acoustically. Your system can be deployed in a cardioid or long throw setup, and different combinations of the family can provide the same sonic quality and unbelievable power.
This means that however the VCA line arrays are used, you can expect the same stunning results.

The VCA family can be deployed in extended cardioid, long throw, or beam split configurations, so you can adapt your system to any environment and situation.
Couplers within our line array systems provide you with variable horizontal coverage plus the power to focus on directivity, eliminate unwanted reflections, and choose the ideal dispersion pattern for your venue. Optional SC2-F low-frequency extensions can give you even more deployment options.
Line arrays can inherently be cardioid-only or deployed in a more versatile method.
Cardioid-only line arrays incorporate actively driven transducers with the sole purpose of providing cancellation towards the rear. The disadvantage is that this increases the size and weight, and causes nonlinear phase response. Plus, the need for additional amplifiers makes it almost impossible to use in some circumstances.
CODA Audio versatile line arrays however can be arrayed in cardioid, extended cardioid, long throw, or beam split configurations, with a perfect solution for any situation.
Full-range Cardioid radiation pattern using SC2-F:
When an array of SC2-F low-frequency extensions is flown behind the line array, it is possible to create either a cardioid radiation pattern or an extended cardioid pattern with increased rejection.
Cardioid Array (example AiRAY + SC2-F flown behind the line array):
The cardioid radiation pattern is achieved by overlapping in the 45 – 200Hz frequency range of the two system elements - the same principle of operation as an end-fire subwoofer array.

Extended Cardioid Array (example AiRAY + SC2-F in cardio flown behind the line array): This cardioid deployment can provide even more powerful rejection, by rotating every other SC2-F enclosure and using extended cardioid presets on the SC2-F subwoofers. This configuration is comparable to end-fire array with three sources placed one behind the other (line array/low frequency extension front/low frequency extension rear).
The whole system is working together to throw the energy forward and provide wide-band cancellation towards the rear.

The SC2-F bass extensions overlap between 45 and 200Hz. This physical increase in array length further enhances the long throw at lower frequencies. This configuration provides a smaller tonal variation from the front to the rear of a larger audience listening area.

The SC2-F low extensions are placed between the other line array elements, and parts of the vertical dispersion of the system can be split into two separate beams. This focuses the power and energy exactly where it needs to go, plus avoids the hard edge of a balcony in a theatre that would otherwise cause undesirable reflections.

All CODA line arrays utilize variable horizontal coverage. For example: CiRAY provides variable horizontal dispersion of symmetrical 60°, 90° or 120° as well as asymmetrical 30°+45°, 30°+60° or 45°+60°

Our flagship high output system. AiRAY has continued to reliably serve customers with the advanced and patented CODA technologies that make AiRAY the perfect companion for a wide range of uses.
AiRAY speakers are part of our family of line array systems, along with CiRAY and ViRAY. You can mix and match speakers seamlessly and perfect the sound for any venue using System Optimiser prediction software.
It is also straightforward to increase the low end with SC2-F, SCP/SCP-F or SCV-F units and ensure even more power and detail in the bass frequencies.
Crystal clear sound, unrivalled power, and the convenience of being able to configure your system without the restraints of a fixed format system. This means spectacular flexibility, and that speakers spend more time on the road doing their job, rather than sitting in a warehouse.
AiRAY is a 3-way high output system, featuring double 12” neodymium cone drivers with 4” coils. The speakers offer accuracy and power across all frequencies from 50 Hz (extendable down to 25 Hz) all the way up to 22 kHz.
Simplify setup with a three-point rigging system. Flown or ground stacked deployment are equally straightforward. Sharing the same form factor as all the other speakers in the line array range, AiRAY, ViRAY, and CiRAY can be flown together.
Our advanced technologies allow us to reduce the size and weight of the speakers while retaining elite quality, power, and coverage. The space-saving of our system makes the AiRAY more environmentallyfriendly, and easier to set up and tear down.
On top of our uncompromising approach to sound, the cutting-edge technologies you’ve come to expect from CODA are all built into the system, including the DDP Drivers that provide exceptional fidelity, sensitivity, and frequency response.
Our unique AiCOUPLER helps to provide more control, achieve an incredibly balanced sound, and achieve a uniform wavefront. Couplers help to provide a wider coverage than other line arrays on the market and reduce the need for outfills.

TiRAY is CODA Audio’s pocket rocket line array. A remarkably small-footprint, super-light, 2-way passive system which packs more of a punch than many competitors’ more sizeable equivalents.
This is largely down to its two 5” ultra low distortion cone speakers, and unique 5” neodymium planar wave driver, which gives it its power and versatility. Designed for mobile applications and installations, these boxes are perfectly suited to music bars and clubs, theatres, ballrooms, and auditoriums, as well as sports centres and Houses of Worship.
TiRAY is the ultimate, easy-to-rig, plug and play system –and it’s very easily expandable. Up to 24 units can be flown, thanks to CODA’s smart integrated rigging system, and a built-in passive crossover means multiple units can be driven by a single channel of CODA’s proprietary LINUS12C four-channel DSP amplifier. Furthermore, the TiLOW bass extension works seamlessly with the main box, providing plenty of low-end reinforcement, which means extra flexibility for audio companies when working in larger venues.

CODA Audio takes subwoofers to the next level with our sensor controlled SC Series. The technological breakthrough contained within these patented designs is highly significant.
The presence of a patented velocity sensor in the driver, with a feedback loop comparator, reduces Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) by up to amazing 90° at low frequencies, giving extended frequency response.
In turn, group delay is drastically reduced to deliver extremely accurate and musical bass reproduction. This ground breaking technology is housed in a notably compact enclosure, offering very real space-saving advantages in a truck and venue.
Then, as with all CODA SC products, comes the unique driver capabilities. Each woofer has a built in ‘velocity sensor’ within its driver, which measures the exact movement of the voice coil by sending information over XLR cable to the Comparator built in to the LINUS DSP Amplifier about velocity, excursion and speed of the voice coil itself. In turn, the Comparator then compares the original input signal to the movement measurement from the ‘velocity sensor’, and adjusts the amplifier driving voltage and/or current, so the diaphragm can move the way it should move.
The Comparator brings THD down by a massive 80 - 90%, which means this speaker can be modified without any equaliser or high pass filters: the Comparator not only compensates for the nonlinearities of the speaker, but the frequency response as well.

The SCP and SCP-F are equipped with two extremely long excursion 18” neodymium ultra low distortion woofers with integrated velocity sensor. The neodymium motor delivers extreme high magnetic flux for increased efficiency. The 4” voice coil is 50 mm high, ensuring ultra linear excursion of 40 mm/pp at consistent magnetic force. State-of-theart carbon-fibre cone ensure maximum stiffness and low moving mass. Three aluminium shorting rings reduce intermodulation distortion and minimise induction variation while reducing thermal compression. This design reduces dramatically the distortion of a typical subwoofer at longer excursion levels, and improves the overall sound quality and performance characteristics of the cabinet. The sensor is in fact an additional voice coil connected to the loudspeakers voice coil in a high precision, magnetically shielded system.
The SCP/SCP-F is the perfect low frequency extension extending the system performance down to 25 Hz; and also as an extension for all CODA systems. It’s perfect for a wide variety of applications: tour sound, theatres, houses of worship, dance clubs, and music venues.

At the core of SCV-F (which works in cardio or omni mode) is its very efficient, high output 18” long neodymium excursion woofer, which provides a completely flat response down to 25 Hz (- 6 dB), and hardly any distortion at all.
SCV-F was primarily designed to be the perfect low frequency extension to CODA’s ViRAY line arrays, though it is also suited for a variety of applications in mobile and installations, particularly where small footprint, pristine sonic coverage, and controllable bass are paramount.

The SC2-F is NOT only a subwoofer, it is a sensor controlled bass extension system operating in the range 35 – 200 Hz which overlaps both the low range of the AiRAY, ViRAY and the SCV/SCP subwoofers providing essentially more energy and control in the lower range of the system. Incorporating dual 15” drivers in a compact, vented enclosure it provides a distinctive 15” signature punch to the system.
The SC2-F is equipped with two extremely long excursion 15” neodymium ultra low distortion drivers with integrated velocity sensor that measures, compares and controls cone movements. The neodymium motor delivers extreme high magnetic flux for increased efficiency. The 4” voice coil is 36 mm high, ensuring ultra linear excursion of 26 mm / pp at consistent magnetic force.
State-of-the-art carbon fibre cones ensure maximum stiffness and low moving mass. Three aluminium shorting rings reduce intermodulation distortion, minimising induction variation whilst reducing thermal compression. This design reduces dramatically the distortion of a typical subwoofer at longer excursion levels, and improves the overall sound quality and performance characteristics of the cabinet.

Targeted towards theatres, houses of worship, corporate events, sport venues, and live sound venues, the SCN-F is a 15” sensor controlled low frequency extension system operating from 35-200 Hz, overlapping both the low range of N-RAY and the SCV/SCP subwoofers – providing more energy and control in the lower range of the system.
The 15” driver contains an integrated velocity sensor that measures the diaphragm movement in real time. The LINUS14/D compares this with the audio input signal and adjusts its driving current to correct any driver inaccuracies – the key advantage being a very extended and controlled response.
SCN-F is designed to work exclusively with dedicated CODA Audio amplifiers and racks as an integrated solution for DSP and sensor control, amplification, network remote control, and diagnostics, ensuring optimal performance and protection.
SCN-F is equipped with an extremely long excursion neodymium ultra low distortion driver. Three aluminium shorting rings reduce intermodulation distortion, minimising induction variation whilst reducing thermal compression, dramatically reducing the distortion of a typical low frequency driver at larger excursions.
Weighing just 33 kg, and a power handling of 1500 W AES, the SCN-F extends the LF throw capability of the N-RAY system significantly. The flying system allows for vertical curving of the SCN-F too, ensuring perfect time alignment with N-RAY when flown behind or to the side.

CODA Audio APS-Pro builds on the success of APS, while taking flexibility and maximum SPL to new heights.
APS-Pro-D has a cabinet angle of 10°, ideal for longer throw applications and situations where you need the maximum granularity of control. APS-Pro-S has a cabinet angle of 30°, ideal for near field, wide coverage, or single cabinet applications. Both loudspeakers benefit from our tool-free Quick Release Grille and magnetic InstaFit APS-Couplers, allowing you to choose from symmetrical dispersion angles of 120°, 90°, or 60°, and asymmetrical 105°, 90°, or 75°. CODA Audio’s unique and revolutionary DNA, present across all our products, is of course here in these new systems. APS-Pro has Dynamic Airflow Cooling technology (DAC) to give maximum power handling with minimum power compression for their dual 10” low frequency drivers, while the mid and high ranges are taken care of with new versions of our coaxial DDC driver, to provide the curved wavefronts suited to the 10° and 30° cabinet angles.
Sound designers often use several different loudspeaker systems to meet their challenges, or get the specific sonic results they’re after. Take theatre as an example: there are often so many dynamics and cues that audio coverage can quickly flip from super-wide to extremely focused, with varying SPLs. Using APS, the point source provides the flexible coverage, and hanging the boxes provides more SPL and dispersion options, so there is no need for multiple systems – APS has it all covered. It’s smart, it’s elegant, and it’s very simple.

N-APS is the smaller sibling of APS (Arrayable Point Source), yet benefits from new technology which allows it to compete in terms of output with loudspeakers many times its size.
Targeted towards a variety of small-to-medium size applications, the series boasts the inclusion of unique and patented DAC Technology for effective cooling, and optimised CODA Audio manufactured Ring Diaphragm Curved-wave-driver (RDC) – ensuring fidelity, frequency range, and versatility.

N-APS is an ultra compact dual 6.5”, 2-way arrayable point source that combines the versatility of a point source loudspeaker with the ‘arrayability’ of a line array, creating a unique category of sound reinforcement system for small to medium size venues. With the latest in driver and system design technology, N-APS delivers twice the power handling as well as significantly more low-end compared to other systems.
Created to be a sound designers’ dream problem solver, the ultra hi-fidelity N-APS delivers large dynamic range, incredible flexibility, and variable horizontal directivity.
N-APS allows users to deploy systems which are in real terms, half or smaller in size compared to the competition. The commercial advantage of this is best demonstrated in trucking: very little truck space is taken up by the system.
N-APS offers a distinct commercial advantage of performing exactly the same as larger elements, but with a tiny footprint. Not only are the loudspeakers smaller, the cabling, amplification and power distribution system is halved in size.

N-APS features many unique CODA technologies. The RDC driver means there is less distortion and no reshaping required, so it offers extraordinary sonic precision. As a result, when you put more N-APS together, they perform as one single cabinet, with no interference whatsoever.

Available in 60°, 90°, 120° or asymmetrical horizontal coverage, a key benefit of N-APS is that you can configure it in any way you choose, with no tools required.
Like CODA’s N-APS, N-SUB benefits from DAC – a smart, unique technology which allows the box to hit very high SPLs while staying completely cool – contrasting traditional sub behaviour, where applying more power generally increases the heat inside, resulting in compressed and distorted audio. In the N-SUB’s case, all sonic clarity is retained –it simply gets louder.
When paired with the CODA LINUS amplification platform, the N-APS have a ruler flat phase response from 120 Hz upwards. This guarantees seamless integration with other CODA products as part of a bigger system.

This 2-way system may look slender, but there’s a lot going on inside: high power handling of 700 W is achievable thanks to its dual 4” HF neodymium planar wave drivers and four 5” ultra low distortion cone speakers. Also, CoRAY4 is smart, you can easily eliminate any unwanted reflections in tricky spaces, and tailor your sound for your audience from venue to venue, by altering the horizontal and asymmetrical coverage, for greater intelligibility.
Staying on coverage, it gets better. For a bigger show, why not link two CoRAY4s together to create CoRAY4 Twin? This will guarantee a perfectly consistent symmetrical vertical coverage of 24° with zero interference between the cabinets, with switchable horizontal coverage: 120° for short throw, or 60° for long throw. In this format, the output gets a 6 dB boost, and narrow vertical control in the low end, extending the capabilities of the system further.
And better still, there’s the CoRAY4L, the low frequency extension, which gives you that rich bottom end, and even more power: again, a high power handling of 700 W, with four 5” ultra low distortion cone speakers, and built for life on the road.
If you’re looking at specifying your sonics for a permanent installation, there is also CoRAY4i, which has been specifically optimised for those applications and also CoRAY4Li, the low frequency extension for installation.

HOPS5 uses two 5” drivers, one with co-axial HF, giving high power handling of 300 W, and 100° conical dispersion.

At the heart of HOPS5 are its drivers, one 5”/1.75” neodymium coaxial driver, and an additional 5” LF driver. The 5” cone drivers cover the 80-1500 Hz frequency range with high efficiency and a silky smooth linear response. The drivers use three aluminium shorting rings, which minimise induction variation while reducing thermal compression. This significantly reduces intermodulation distortion along with distortion at longer excursion levels, providing punchy low frequency performance and extension that belies the cabinets size.
The high frequency driver is the same ultra-light 1.75” annular diaphragm as used in the HOPS8. This has an exceptional transient response and very high efficiency, giving crystal clear full spectrum sound with perfect time alignment.
HOPS5 is ultra-compact and easy to deploy with hardware available to suit a variety of applications, both touring and installation.

HOPS-Pro Series feature interchangeable and rotatable waveguides, providing options for the systems’ dispersion.
With the coaxial design in HOPS7-Pro and the triaxial HOPS10-Pro and HOPS12-Pro, the waveguide for the mid/high driver also aligns the acoustic centres of the low frequency transducers to produce a perfectly coherent and uniform wavefront, power response, and directivity control.
The waveguide in the HOPS7-Pro is designed to give excellent pattern control across the annular high frequency drivers’ 1 kHz to 22 kHz operating range. The coax mid-high driver in HOPS10-Pro and HOPS12-Pro is loaded to a large elliptical waveguide with supreme horizontal pattern control over the entire operating range of the driver.
The two low frequency drivers are symmetrically loaded and the vertical distance between their acoustical centres is optimised to enhance the vertical directivity of the system down to 300 Hz on a HOPS12-Pro, 400 Hz on a HOPS10-Pro and 550 Hz on a HOPS7-Pro.
The benefits of this cannot be understated – the energy is exactly focused where it’s needed, whilst keeping it away from walls and other reflective surfaces.

The CUE Series takes stage monitoring to another level for several reasons: exceptionally high output, phenomenal sound quality, and a triaxial transducer design that provides a true one point source. They are also very portable and lightweight, perfect for taking out on the road.
As an artist, what you’re looking for out of a stage monitor is volume, clarity, and feel. The technology in this box provides all of this and more. Thanks to its powerful neodymium woofers and compression driver. Feedback is extremely minimal, integrated hardware provides increased dispersion, and the low end frequency response is immense.
This entirely unique loudspeaker technology offers a perfectly coherent wavefront with no hot spots in sight, resulting in precise directivity and uniform coverage, providing perfect time alignment between the components.

CUE FOUR is a 3-way, high output, coherent low profile monitor built for the stage. It benefits from double 8” neodymium woofer and 1.4” coaxial compression driver, loaded by an asymmetrical 60° x 55° + 40° elliptical waveguide.
CUE ONE is a high output 3-way, coherent low profile monitor built for the stage. It’s a double 12” box with a 1.4” coaxial compression driver, loaded by an asymmetrical 60° x 55° + 40° elliptical waveguide.

CUE TWO is a compact 3-way, high output, coherent low profile monitor built for the stage. It’s a superhigh power box thanks to its 15” neodymium cone driver and 1.4” coaxial compression driver concentrically mounted to the woofer, loaded by a 60° x 90° elliptical waveguide.

Ultra Compact 12” Multipurpose Subwoofer
The U12-Sub is a 12” ultra compact subwoofer that provides powerful low frequency response. Low port compression and optimised enclosure design give a tight, accurate bass response that is ideally suited for mobile and installation applications.
The U12-Sub is equipped with an extremely long excursion 12” neodymium ultra low distortion woofer. The neodymium motor delivers extreme high magnetic flux for increased efficiency. The 3” voice coil is 26 mm high, ensuring ultra-linear excursion of 16 mm/pp at consistent magnetic force. A state-of-the-art carbon fibre cone ensures maximum stiffness and low moving mass.
The aluminium shorting rings reduce intermodulation distortion, minimise induction variation while reducing thermal compression. This design dramatically reduces the distortion of a typical subwoofer at longer excursion levels, and improves the overall sound quality and performance characteristics of the cabinet.
The U12i-Sub is a slim, wallmounted version of the U12Sub.
Compact 15” Multipurpose Subwoofer

The U15-Sub is a 15” compact subwoofer is only slightly bigger than its sibling products, and provides power in the low frequency. It includes the same port compression and optimised enclosure to give a tight, accurate bass response that is ideally suited for mobile and installation applications.
The U15-Sub is equipped with an extremely long excursion 15” ultra-low distortion woofer. The motor provides high magnetic flux for increased efficiency. The 3” voice coil is 32 mm high, meaning ultra-linear excursion of 22 mm/pp at consistent magnetic force. Like the U12, there is a state-of-the-art carbon-fibre cone, which is stiff and rigid for a low moving mass. The same low intermodulation distortion comes from the shorting rings, and helps to minimise induction variation and lower thermal compression. All of these features reduce the distortion of a typical 15” sub at longer excursion levels, with clear quality and the performance you expect from a CODA cabinet.

High Output Dual 18” Multipurpose Subwoofer
Double 18” ultra low distortion woofer, very high power handling of 2500 W, extended low frequency reproduction.
The U4-Sub is equipped with twin extremely long excursion 18” ultra low distortion woofers. The strong motor delivers extreme high magnetic flux for increased efficiency. The 4” voice coil is 32 mm high, ensuring ultra linear excursion of 20 mm / pp at consistent magnetic force.
The state-of-the-art carbon-fibre cone ensures maximum stiffness and low moving mass. Three aluminium shorting rings reduce intermodulation distortion, minimising induction variation whilst reducing thermal compression. This design dramatically reduces the distortion of a typical subwoofer at longer excursion levels, and improves the overall sound quality and performance characteristics of the cabinet.

The U4-Sub is designed to work exclusively with CODA Audio LINUS amplifiers as an integrated solution for DSP control, amplification, network remote control and diagnostic. The integrated solution ensures optimal performance and protection.
The U4-Sub is perfectly suited as a sub extension for HOPS Series, CUE Series and TiRAY, extending the system performance down to 30 Hz. Typical applications are dance clubs, theatres, houses of worship and live sound venues.

Computationally intensive operations have been highly optimised to deliver results in seconds, not minutes – call it ‘mathemagic’… Predictions are wholly based on real-world electro-acoustic measurements, heavily utilising multifaceted multipole expansions. A highly complex atmospheric model is employed; taking temperature, dewpoint, humidity and altitude into account. Complex response functions are morphed using cutting edge continuous phase techniques, the end result being authentic free-field predictions indistinguishable from reality.
Clever tools are included to create complex designs effortlessly. Use the layout tool to place loudspeakers in a multitude of shapes and arrangements. The template engine is an incredibly powerful way of managing entities within the layout system. Measurement microphones can be placed anywhere within the 3D scene. Probes are a smart extension of the measurement microphones that make choosing line array angles stress-free. Link Groups define how line arrays are connected, and allow electronic filters to be applied to correct for distance and splay angle.
