MARTY VECE (Nathan Detroit) is thrilled to be making his Vegas Theatre Company debut playing the iconic role of Nathan Detroit in "Guys and Dolls." Las Vegas audiences may remember him as Marcus Lycus in "A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To the Forum," and George Aaronow in "Glengarry Glen Ross," both at Las Vegas Little Theater. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Marty performed extensively in Chicago, as well as throughout the Midwest. Additionally, he spent six Christmas seasons on tour with country music legend, Kenny Rogers, as a featured vocalist and actor. He would like to thank his wife Lizzy and his three daughters for all of their love and support. Finally, a special shout out to our producer Jason Outlaw, the VTC production team, and especially, our fearless director, Simone Without your creative passion, patience, and perseverance, this project never would have come to fruition. You put everything on your back and carried us to the finish line and we thank you, thank you, thank you, for it.
RYAN REMARK (Sky Masterson) returns to the stage for his first musical. A former crooner for bands like "The Swing Daddies" and Standard Issue", Ryan is a 17-year alumnus of Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding, whose local theater credits include SunDrops, The Foreigner, Closer, A Few Good Men, and last year’s Glengarry GlenRoss. Ryan would like to thank and applaud the amazingly hardworking cast & crew for their commitment to this project. Bravo!
BUTTERCUP (Miss Adelaide) is a burlesque performer, producer, instructor and costumer in Las Vegas, Nevada. She hails from New York City where she studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Buttercup performs in burlesque, comedy and variety shows in Las Vegas and internationally. She has
been a featured entertainer in Holly Madison's Bourbon & Burlesque at Mandalay Bay, Melody Sweets' Presents inside the Absinthe tent at Caesar's Palace and Myron's Cabaret Jazz, Brian Newman's After Dark at Park MGM and Spiegelworld's Opium at The Cosmopolitan. Buttercup co-produces Revusical, a jazz & burlesque show with bandleader, David Vincola. Buttercup is Program Coordinator at the Burlesque Hall of Fame, managing its School of Striptease and producing its quarterly fundraising show at The Space.
DAYNA WOMACK (Sarah Brown) is so excited to step into the local theatre community with her first stage role post graduation. Dayna is an alumni from Biola University with a degree in Cinema and Media Arts, as well as a minor in biblical studies and theology). During her studies she earned a meritorious achievement award from the Kennedy Center American College for her role as Sheila in Boys Next Door and a Kennedy Center Irene Ryan Scholarship nomination for her role as Fanny in As It Is In Heaven. Currently Dayna is using her degree to produce and coordinate multiple film and television projects, including the upcoming documentary for The People’s Choice Radio Station KCEP 88.1. She would like to thank her mentors at Positively Arts for the guidance that allowed her to tell this story and her loved ones for their support.
DERICK SWINSON (Nicely-Nicely Johnson) is a singer, actor, writer and producer. Born and raised in Las Vegas. Studied theater at University of Nevada Las Vegas. Appeared in Raisin in the Sun and Sweet Charity. Currently finishing last semester at College of Southern Nevada under Music Engineering and Business.
WALT TURNER (Benny Southstreet) Born in Las Vegas NV and raised in the outskirts in the, then, little town of Pahrump NV. Entertaining was his passion from a very early age. From tap, ballet, jazz and ballroom lessons at the age of 6 to highschool plays and performances to trying his hand in New York, his early years of entertaining was a whirlwind of experience. While performing as the Billy Idol impersonator at the Imperial palace in Las Vegas, he made his transfer to the film industry, producing an independent film that debuted in competition at the Venice Film festival. His final transfer of entertaining mediums landed him as the resident Dj at the Treasure Island Pool, the Rio’s rooftop nightclub Voodoo Lounge, and various oversees performances before finally retiring from his career as an entertainer. He now spends his days running his Family’s Real Estate Company, Access Realty in his hometown of Pahrump, only performing in projects he enjoys. He says "Performing with his friends and seeing the happiness it brings to the audience is [his] sole drive for entertaining these days."
JON PAUL RANIOLA (Harry The Horse) In NY on a crisp Super Bowl Sunday in January Jon Paul Raniola was born. A Vegas resident over 20 years he has been in numerous shows both on and off The Strip. Tony and Tina’s Wedding and The Soprano's Last Supper . A core member of 2 successful sketch comedy troupes and 12 years in the professional wrestling business. Also a minor Tiktok celebrity. Jon Paul has been sitting on the shelf for some years and is excited to dust of his talent to be apart of this production with some of his closest friends. He wants to thank his 2 wonderful kids Asher and Lili for being the best ever and also thanks his wonderful girlfriend Stacy . “The Show Must Go On”
WAYNE MORTON (Arvide Abernathy) Favorite Rolls: Hysterium (Forum) The Rat Pack Lounge (Frank) A Chorus Line (Tony), Will Rogers Follies (Clem), My Fair Lady (Col. Pickering), and performing his own show across the seven seas! He is happy to join the Vegas Theater Co family! Love to my family for their endless support.
JIM MCCOY (Big Jule) is excited to be a part of the Magnolia Productions’ version of Guys and Dolls at The Vegas Theatre Company. He has been involved with the Las Vegas theatre and cabaret event community for several decades. As a Westcoast implant from the East, his journey includes studies and work with such groups as The Canton Player’s Guild, The Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Carnegie Mellon Summer Theatre, Pittsburgh Playwright’s Festival, Golden Rainbow’s Ribbon of Life, The Space, Mondays Dark, Cirque du Soleil One Drop Foundation, AFAN Black and White, and Las Vegas PRIDE. His “Alter Ego,” Norma Llyaman, has “followed the sequins and the spotlight” throughout the country, performing with her unusually bawdy and vaudevillian charisma. He would like to thank his first drama mentor, Chey Shubert, for his patience and encouragement and his husband, Derek, for his unconditional love and upport of the chaos! Jim is currently writing a collection of one-act plays focusing on hetero-normative relationships within queer masculine dynamics.
ADAM MARTINEZ (Lt. Brannigan) is extremely humbled to appear in Guys and Dolls amongst such a talented cast. Adam is a Las Vegas native and UNLV theatre performance graduate, he performed for over twelve years in the Las Vegas production of Tony and Tina's Wedding, and also acted on the Strip in the Mac King Comedy Magic Show, and most recently has appeared in Marriage Can Be Murder at the Orleans Hotel and Casino, he's also been in numerous productions and play readings with local theatres across the valley. Adam would like to thank his patient and loving wife Jessica for her encouragement and support, and his two beautiful daughters, Cici and Everly, for allowing their Dad some time on stage, and for always keeping him on his toes.
WAVERLY JADE (Rusty Charlie) is a singer and actor from the Bay Area who has performed in several theaters around the Valley. She is excited to be performing her first show at Vegas Theatre Company! They just made their professional debut as Kwaidan in Bat Out of Hell at the Paris Theater. Other credits include: Megan Jones in the Puffs (The Playhouse); Woman 2 in 35MM (Super Summer); Whatsername in American Idiot; Carrie White in Carrie the Musical; and Anna in Spring Awakening (All at Majestic Repertory). She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their unconditional love and for supporting their true self. Love and miss you, Dad. Maraming salamat po for coming and enjoy the show!
BECKY FULLINGTON (Ensemble) was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and has been dancing and singing since 5. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a degree in In Kinesiological Sciences, she added to her list of entertainment skills by incorporating acting, stilt walking, and various musical instruments to her list of abilities. Most notably, she has worked as a featured dancer in countless events throughout Las Vegas, performed in AREA15’s production of “Rocky Horror Picture Show”, has been featured in various burlesque shows all over the country, and has worked and trained in multiple cities in Europe. She is freelancing in Vegas, a “Jester” for the Henderson Silver Knights AHL Team, and a group fitness instructor at Life Time Fitness. As a little fun fact, on top of being well-versed in the arts, Becky speaks Spanish and French and is currently learning Polish to spice things up.
OLIVIA HERNANDO (Ensemble) is a multifaceted artist. She hails from Mexico City but has lived in Las Vegas for over 15 years. As a dancer, she has been in The Music Man (NCT 2009), Grease (NCT 2014), and Memphis (Super Summer 2016). She has worked on West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, and Cabaret as a choreographer. As an actress, she has done background work in TV shows like A Good Place; This Is Us, and Dancing With The Stars (2019). On stage, her favorite role was playing the iconic character of Nora in A Doll’s House (LVLT 2019). Olivia currently works as a Teaching Artist for the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. She teaches dance and choreography for Disney Musicals in Schools, Wolf Trap, and Links to Literature. Follow her on Instagram @olibombom!
TRAD SEVIN (Ensemble) makes his official debut in Las Vegas and he couldn’t be more pleased to work alongside Simone. Hats off to the entire cast, crew, and VTC for an unforgettable experience.
