Join us to learn how mindfulness can be used to cope with stress and anxiety. Children will be introduced to mindfulness practices for play, crafts, stories and songs. This group is open to all children 0-6yrs.

YOGA & CONNECTION

Come for a yoga class with your baby for a mindful and safe way to get back into movement, while your little ones join in. We will end the class off with some open discussion on parenting topics. For parents and babies, newborn to crawling.

CIRCLE OF SECURITY (7 weeks)

In this program, you will learn to: recognize that your child’s behaviour is communication, “be with” your child through strong and difficult emotions, repair the relationship when a rupture has occurred. For parents with children 0-12yrs.

ALBERTA HEALTH SERVICES (AHS) PRENATAL HEALTH GROUP (REGISTERED, IN-PERSON)

Join an AHS Childbirth Educator and Registered Dietitian while connecting with other parents. Topics include pregnancy, nutrition, labour, birth, infant feeding/sleep/care and transition to parenthood. Pregnant (and their partners) or parenting up to 6 mos old welcome.

NURTURING PARENTING: ROUTINES

This group is for parents and family members who are interested in or currently breastfeeding and/or pumping. This will be a space to ask questions, support other mothers, be supported yourself and learn about the wonders of breastfeeding.

TRIPLE P TIP TALK: PROMOTING LANGUAGE

Toddlers’ understanding and use of language develop quickly and are closely related to their thinking, experiences and understanding of the world. Join an accredited Triple P Practitioner on some strategies to encourage your toddler’s language development. For parents with toddlers.

MENTAL HEALTH TIP

Try a meditation app to help with anxiety and stress like Headspace or Calm. Sanvello, Happify and Bearable are also great apps to help boost your overall mental wellbeing.

GROUP TRIPLE P (5 Weeks, Registered, Virtual)

Group Triple P is a 5 week program that gives you support to help you manage your child’s behaviour and prevent the kinds of problems that make your family life stressful. For parents with children ages 2-12yrs.

NALOXONE PROGRAM TRAINING (FREE, REGISTERED, IN-PERSON)

Naloxone is a medication that temporarily reverses effects of an opioid poisoning. This workshop we include: education provided on harm reductions, street drugs and the opioid crisis, naloxone training, simulations and Naloxone kit distribution. Date Time Location

APPLIED SUICIDE INTERVENTION TRAINING (ASIST) - 18YRS+ (REGISTERED, IN-PERSON)

This a suicide first aid two-day interactive workshop and will train you to intervene with an individual who is thinking about suicide. Certificate program from the Centre for Suicide Prevention. $175 or Free with proof of Community Helpers Course completion.
