YOGA & CONNECTION

Enjoy a yoga class with your baby for a mindful and safe way to get back into movement, while your little ones join in. We will end the class with some open discussion on parenting topics. For parents and babies, newborn to crawling.

MEALS ON WHEELS FOR YOUR FREEZER

Frozen Entrees offer choice and flexibility while providing meals that are heart healthy and diabetic friendly. Each meal is well balanced and includes a starch, protein and vegetables. Place an order periodically to stock your freezer or request orders on a weekly basis.

FRAUD PREVENTION MONTH

March is fraud prevention month. Stay vigilant and protect your personal information.

In 2023, Canadians lost $554 million to fraud!

Tips to keep you safe:

• Scammers will often use fear and urgency to get what they want.

• Don’t be afraid to say no. Scammers often use high pressure sales tactics.

• Hang up and verify any concerns by calling the institution directly. Always call back using a number that has been verified through your own search. Never call back using a number they have given you.

• Don’t give out personal information.

• If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

• If you think you may be a victim of a scam, report it to your local police.

• If you transferred money, report it to your financial institution immediately.

INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR ELIMINATION OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION - MAR 21

While much progress has been made, Indigenous peoples and racialized and religious minority communities in Canada continue to face racism and discrimination every day. This day serves as a call to action for individuals, organizations and all levels of government to actively work to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination, injustice, systemic racism and hate.
