Eligible children in grades K-12

Kickstart the school year with confidence! Join us for a free, fun and informative event designed to help Pre K – Grade 12 students thrive. Connect with agencies, explore academic resources and discover exciting extracurricular activities.

Grad Glow Up - Collection

Students graduating high school

We are collecting gently used formal attire of all sizes so every graduate can shine on their big day. Accepting floor length gowns, suits, jackets, dress shirts and pants, purchased within the last five years.

Block Party Trailer

Bring your neighbourhood together with the free Block Party Trailer! It includes tables, chairs, games & a grill – everything you need for a fun and memorable community gathering.

Outdoor Adventures

Join the FRN, Cochrane Public Library, RVS Mental Health Capacity Building and the Children’s Cottage for a playful adventure that will spark imagination, build motor skills and kick start early literacy. Please follow our Facebook page for cancellations due to inclement weather or 7+ smoke index.

Connection Walk

All ages/Parented

A friendly walking group offering fresh air, gentle exercise and meaningful connections—perfect for parents with little ones in strollers or on foot.

Cochrane Bumps and Babies

For pregnant moms and their partners or parenting up to 6 mos

Join an AHS Childbirth Educator and Registered Dietitian to connect with other parents on topics such as pregnancy, nutrition, labour, birth, infant feeding and care and transition to early parenthood. Supervised toddlers welcome. Refreshments provided.

Raising Emotionally Strong Kids

For parents with children birth-6 yrs
