cochisechops@yahoo.com or (386) 690-6270 Honestly, 2022 can’t be over soon enough for me. What a year, eh? I guess for some 2020 or 2021 was bad, but for it was ‘22.

Hospitalized 3 times was a drag, except the last time, it did me a lot of good (the last heart cath & stents), while the 1st time, I couldn’t tell much difference the day I checked out as the cold January morning I checked in. Brrrr, it was 39 that day. I can’t take the cold anymore for 3 reasons. 1st, I’ve got Florida blood now, anything under 70 degrees is cold! 2nd, it tears my arthritis up & lastly, well, I forgot what #3 was. Maybe, it affects my memory! LOL I’m hoping I get to ride more this year than last on the Shovelhead!

(Even though I did ride to KY twice, North Carolina once & to Ft. Myers twice on the Evo, I want to ride my Shovel more). I’m praying the FLH will be ready real soon. Uncle Marcus from Trailer Trash Choppers is helping me now, and I just bought a sweet (really reasonably priced) Springer for my Chopper Shovel. I’ve never liked 19 & 21 inch tires on the front, so I’m slapping the Springer on it, with a beefy 16”! It should look really bad azz!!!

This year is the 50th anniversary of the Boot Hill Saloon on Main St. A favorite of many, many bikers for years. Though it has evolved into a great venue for the “Best” Bands around & some great food, (I’m telling you, they are serving up some good grub now), it will always be a biker bar, maybe not like it was in the 70’s & 80’s, it still draws riders in. The next time you’re in, share a congratulations on the 50th with Karin or Al. Watch for a huge party later this year, not real late, but soon.

Miklo 1%er here wishing you all a Happy Thursday and a great rest of your week.

Today I wanna talk about something that I personally have struggled with seeing in the MC Community for several years now..

But before I speak on it I wanna say…everything I write here today is NOT with the intent of bashing or disrespecting any of the clubs that do these things…but rather to educate them so that they may take a new look at things and hopefully make some positive changes..

So, something you’ll often hear me speak out against is what I call a “negative cycle” in the MC World.

Usually when I’m referring to a “negative cycle” what I’m referring to are the clubs that once rebelled against the AMA and it’s control tactics many years ago and have now BECOME today’s version of the AMA and employ it’s control tactics now themselves.

Well…believe it or not there’s something that’s even more disheartening and that’s the 3rd stage of that “negative cycle” The cycle began with the AMA itself , then many of the clubs that rebelled against the AMA and it’s campaign against freedom turned around and mounted their own campaign against freedom many years later and had for all intensive purposes BECAME the AMA themselves…

They became the very thing they once hated…

Well…going as far back as the 60’s there have been clubs rebelling against the control of other outlaw clubs.

I won’t name names but there are certain 1% clubs in this culture who’s entire club history was forged in the crucible of ...Page 14 Chops 10

war while standing up against bigger clubs that were trying to tell them what patches they could and couldn’t wear, what places they could and couldn’t call home or ride through and in many cases whether they could or could not exist as clubs at all…

Those smaller clubs that fought tooth and nail against some of the bigger bully clubs in order to live free and ride with their brothers under the patch of their club….Those are the clubs that have always been hero’s to me..

Anyone that knows me knows that I live and die by my love of freedom…and to see those clubs willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice in the name of their club’s right to freedom is something that has always inspired me and given me a great admiration of those clubs.

But now…sadly…some of them (not all) have turned around and started becoming the very same bully patch police territorial type of clubs that their forefather’s fought against in the first place..

I call it “Getting Drunk On Power” because when those clubs were smaller back in the day and were on the defensive end they NEVER would’ve even dreamed of declaring themselves “dominants” and claiming “territory” and bullying and controlling other clubs…

My God Man….bigger clubs bullying them and attempting to control them was what lit the fire of freedom in them in the first place!!

I’d be willing to bet that if we were to speak to any of the men that fought for their clubs freedom back then they’d all say the same thing…

“All we want is to be left alone. We ain’t bothering nobody. We just wanna ride and party together as brothers under our club’s patch and be left alone.. if you show us respect you’ll get the same in return.” See now THAT is spoken like a true 1%er..

And now just because this new era regime looks around and see’s over 100 of their patch at events all the sudden they wanna forget the past…? ......................Continued Next Month Chops 14

Let’s Laugh · STOLEN FROM BOGUS JACK!!!

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to the local grocery store. Unfortunately, like most men; I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women - she loves to browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter, from the local store manager: Dear Mrs. Harris: Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion, in our store.

We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to, ban both of you from the store.

Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Harris, are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras: 1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in other people’s carts when they weren’t looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women’s restroom.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, ‘Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away’. This caused the employee to leave her assigned station and receive a reprimand from her Supervisor that in turn resulted with a union grievance, causing management to lose time and costing the company money. We don’t have a Code 3.

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&Ms on layaway.

6. August 14: Moved a, ‘CAUTION - WET FLOOR’ sign to a carpeted area.

7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told the children shoppers he’d invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department to which twenty children obliged.

8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, ‘Why can’t you people just leave me alone?’ EMTs Chops 20

9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose.

10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.

11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while, loudly humming the, ‘Mission Impossible’ theme.

12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his, ‘Madonna Look’ using different sizes of funnels.

13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled ‘PICK ME! PICK ME!’ 14. October 22: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed; ‘OH NO! IT’S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!’ 15. Took a box of condoms to the checkout clerk and asked where is the fitting room?

And last, but not least: 16. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile; then yelled very loudly, ‘Hey! There’s no toilet paper in here.’ One of the clerks passed out.
