Even after writing and singing their most popular song, “Cover Of The Rolling Stone”, they never made the cover, except for this cartoon picture from RS!!! BOOOOOO!!! So I figure we can honor this great band from an era of the greatest music ever! For me my favorite time for Rock & Roll was from 1968 to 1988, also the best Country music!!! More On Page 26 Chops 6
cochisechops@yahoo.com or (386) 690-6270 Thank you all for the good words and prayers over the last few months. I am feeling so much better, actually I feel well enough that I’m taking the Evo and riding up to TN & KY to see family. Don’t forget about the Shovelhead Show on Labor Day, at The Boot Hill Saloon on Main St. If you missed it last year, you missed a great time of being able to see some of the nicest Shovels in the area. There was 57 different Shovelheads there, all local, plus some pristine Panheads, Knuckles & Evos!!! Plus FREE DRAFT BEER until it runs out, and maybe some food, either free or inexpensive. This year I’m going to call the Show, “THE BLUE PLATE SPECIAL”!!! The blue plate referring to the license plate, so if your bike qualifies for the blue antique license plate, your very much welcome to come on out. There will be special parking ALWAYS for the Shovels out front, and all others on the side in a nice pre-selected spot. ********** Well, we (Boogie, Stump & me), had a great ride south through KY., TN., MS., LA., and back up through AL. I finally found the secret to riding (after 50+ years) and not being worn totally out everyday and then 3 days to recoup when you get home...............and that is, instead of riding 600 to 800 miles a day, just do 250 to 350!!! It makes it much more enjoyable, I promise. Anyway, we saw some beautiful country side. We rode 1,600 miles, and only about 20 of those was on interstate highways. Mostly 2 lane or secondary roads. KY was beautiful as we headed South.......I had forgotten how beautiful it was. The roads were hilly and twisting, just about in every State. I hadn’t ridden like that since 2007 when I went on the Big Mountain Run ride. There were many highlights of the trip, too many to record Pg. 11 Chops 7
God’s Corner This Statement that I read on here last week from a young woman just keeps echoing in my heart, “THERE IS NO HATE LIKE CHRISTIAN LOVE!” Yes, it’s bothering me to know that someone, perhaps many feel this way. I know I’ve always treated her good, and I’ve never been judgemental towards her or her crew she runs with, unless it was some Scripture I posted up, if that’s the case, I can’t help that, but was it that or from the actions she has seen or maybe heard? I preached a Sermon back in 2017 (actually it was at 1st Baptist Daytona Beach downtown), entitled, “Why I Love The Church!” And I used I John 3:14 as my text; “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.” Now John is speaking to the Christians that have scattered abroad in various churches, and some now were being lead by “false prophets”, even denying the incarnate Christ. So why did I use this text? Because the author is speaking to the church, yesterday, today and tomorrow, and he is saying, “YOU MAY KNOW THAT YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN (BORN AGAIN, SAVED) “IF” YOU LOVE PEOPLE, IF YOU DON’T LOVE THE PEOPLE, YOU ARE STILL LOST!” All emphasizes are added by me, and paraphrased! So my topic that day was, I love the Church, because I “know” I am going to be loved in the church. Of all the places I can go to seek love, and whether I find it or not, I will always be loved by those in the church. If I am NOT, then the people (supposedly the real church) still abide in death, NOT born again, Not saved, they are lost, according to John. Make sense??? Now, I’ve heard minsters say, mostly in hardcore Independent Baptist & Pentacostal churches (this was years ago in the 80’s), say junk like, “We don’t want them queers in our church”, and they would make fun of them, just like they did the hippy movements of the 60’s and 70’s. Man O Man, what a witness...........................................for their ignorance!!! Not a witness for the “real” church nor Jesus Christ. (Pg.10)

The greatest lie at most church houses is told on the sign out front that says, “Everyone Welcome”! BS, that’s a lie! I know because I pastored a church that had that on their sign, but didn’t want the little black children I brought there, drinking out of “their” water fountain. I WAS THROUGH!!! I took my family and moved on! (BTW, hindsight tells me I should have stayed and faced this challenge.) If you are a true Christian, you HAVE TO love all people! I know, I’ve said it too, “I love them, but I don’t like them!” I understand, but love them and if something isn’t right, and you have a man in the pulpit preaching all the Bible, God the Holy Spirit will work on them. Think About It, Cochise P.S. Back in 2016, at Set Free Daytona, the church I started here in Daytona Beach, I had a woman come up to me and asked if she could teach the woman, who attended there, how to dress. I agree, at times some do come to church showing a little to much, but all the Bible says about dress, in the New Testament, is “Let Your Apparel Be Modest”! 1 Timothy 2:9-10 So, whether in the work place, playground and yes even in the church house, you have people who will judge you, but remember, WHO really counts, when it comes to Christianity, and that is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit, everyone else is just a traveler like you & me, and are not the ones you must stand before one day to give an account for our life here on earth. Look up the “BEMA SEAT”, if you want to know more. ********** SORRY CHARLIES CORNER, formerly Mike’s Corner or The Eagles Nest, on the corner of Hwy 44 and Samsula Drive!!! It’s under new ownership and managerment, and from what I can see they have kept what was good, like the great food and cold beer, and maybe upped it a little, by doing some additions here and there. Always very CLEAN!!! Stop and hang out where legends and icons have hung out for years and years, It’s still Samsula’s finest and sit a spell. ~ Cochise

here, but the best of them was riding with people you love, unconditionally. Not “one” cross word! Not “one” attitude! Not “one” selfish motive! These 2 men made me have faith again in Love, Honor & Respect!!! The low time was in New Orleans.............what a stench hole!!! Smelled like stale beer and pee everywhere we walked, but I’d go back, maybe! The surprise of the trip? Last day, we leave Florence, AL. As usual, we parked the bikes under the overhead port that you drive through when checking in at the motel. We always park closes to the outer drive way, next to the shrubs, as to be out of everyone’s way. Tropical Storm Cindy had chased us North that day, and when we finally out ran her, and knew she wouldn’t catch us the following day, we called it a day, and went to the room. Apparently, some other “creatures” knew the storm was coming and was seeking shelter as well. The next morning we load the bikes up, check the oil, etc. and head North. At the 1st stoplight, I gave a left turn signal, but could tell something wasn’t correct. Sure enough I had a blown bulb. So at the next parts store, about 57 miles up the road, I pull in to get a new one. I go in, get the bulb and some octane booster, when I walk out I see oil under my bike. The clutch cable had rubbed a hole in my oil filter. I go back in, buy a filter and the boys start taking the other one off, when an employee asks us if that snake belonged to us???? What??? Snake??? Sure enough there was a snake between Boogie’s and Stump’s bikes!!! About 5 feet long and a 3 colored brown snake, leaving under Stump’s bike. What The Heck??? We don’t do snakes dude!!! He said, “I didn’t know as I hear you bikers do strange things!” “Maybe some, but we 3 don’t do snakes”, I said. Apparently, the thing had crawled up under his seat next to the oil tank to stay warm and didn’t come out when he started it up. THANK GOD IT DIDN’T SHOW IT’S SELF WHILE WE WERE RIDING DOWN THE ROAD!!! Instant WRECK!!!

Anyway, it came out and was running for cover. All 3 of us and 5 parts store people stood at a distance when some cat pulls up and rescues us all..........LOL!!! Hey, I wasn’t about to touch that thing, even with a pole. If we had not have been on concrete, I know what would have happened..........that snake would be ............let me see, what do you animal lover folks call it when an animal passes away? O yeah, that rascal would have been crossing the “rainbow bridge”................ BAM!!! LOL Snake gone, oil leak fixed....................200 miles to the house............... and we beat the rain, as it came later that night. Thank you Lord for watching over us................it was the “BEST” ride I have been on in years. It did this old man a lot of good!!! (This trip was taken in June 2017)

Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show (shortened to Dr. Hook in 1975) was an American rock band, formed in Union City, New Jersey. The band had commercial success in the 1970s with hit singles “Sylvia’s Mother”, “The Cover of ‘Rolling Stone’” (both 1972), “Only Sixteen” (1975), “A Little Bit More” (1976), “Sharing the Night Together” (1978), “When You’re in Love with a Beautiful Woman” (1979), “Better Love Next Time” (1979), and “Sexy Eyes” (1980). In addition to its own material, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show performed songs written by the poet Shel Silverstein. The band had eight years of hits in the United States, where its music was played on Top 40, easy listening, and country music outlets throughout the English-speaking world. Its music included novelty songs, acoustic ballads, soft rock. The founding core of the band consisted of George Cummings, Ray Sawyer, and Billy Francis, who had worked together in a band called the Chocolate Papers. Cummings, Sawyer and Francis started a new band and included primary vocalist Dennis Locorriere, who initially joined as a bass player. The new band was named Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show: Tonic for the Soul. The name was inspired by Sawyer’s eyepatch and a reference to Captain Hook of the Peter Pan fairy tale. Sawyer lost his right eye in a nearfatal car crash in Oregon in 1967, and thereafter wore an eyepatch. After Dr. Hook split up, Dennis Locorriere retained ownership of the name of the band. However, from 1988 to 2015, Sawyer was granted a license to tour separately as “Ray Sawyer of Dr. Hook” or “Dr. Hook featuring Ray Sawyer” (joined for a time in 2001 by Billy Francis); Sawyer did not perform publicly after his last tour ended in October 2015 and died on December 31, 2018 at the age of 81. Billy Francis joined Sawyer in 2001 during his Dr. Hook concerts. He died on May 23, 2010, at age 68. In the years after the original band split, Dennis Locorriere has released several solo albums and toured under the names Voice of Dr. Hook and Dennis Locorriere Celebrates Dr. Hook Hits and History Tour. Now fronting the band Dr Hook starring Dennis Locorriere, he started the Dr Hook 50th Anniversary World Tour in 2019, but this was postponed due to Locorriere undergoing a prostate procedure resulting in kidney issues. The band resumed their 50th Anniversary Tour on September 3, 2021 with a show at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and with shows scheduled for Scandinavia,

the UK and Ireland in 2022. Currently Locorriere’s version of Dr Hook is made up of John Maher, Michelle Cordelli, Damien Cooper, Tim Bye, Jon Poole and Ryan Farmery. Ray Sawyer (February 1, 1937 – December 31, 2018) was an American percussionist and vocalist with the 1970s rock band Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show. Though primarily a backing vocalist and occasional percussionist on congas or maracas, he sang lead on their hit song “The Cover of Rolling Stone” and was a recognizable presence in the band owing to the eyepatch and cowboy hat he wore. He was also the uncle of Wild Fire vocalist Zack Sawyer. Sawyer lost his right eye in a 1967 automobile accident. Sawyer said the following about his life before the time of his car accident: “I must have played all the clubs from Houston to Charleston, until I decided I was going insane from too much beans and music, and I gave it up. I saw a John Wayne movie and then proceeded to Portland, Oregon, to be a logger complete with plaid shirt, caulk boots, and pike pole. On the way, my car slipped on the road and the accident left me with the eye patch I now wear. When I recovered, I ran straight back to the beans and music and vowed, ‘Here, I’ll stay’.” Sawyer was the lead vocalist on the band’s breakthrough hit, “The Cover of Rolling Stone,” as well as many of the Medicine Show’s earlier songs. Eventually, by the late 1970s, as the band found commercial success, Sawyer stepped back into a backing vocalist role behind Dennis Locorriere, occasionally playing another instrument (for example, on “Better Love Next Time,” one of the band’s later hits, he can be seen with a prominent bongo part). Sawyer left the band in 1983, allegedly because he was no longer happy with the band’s direction. From 1988 to October 2015, Sawyer toured the nostalgia circuit as “Dr. Hook featuring Ray Sawyer”, under license from Locorriere, who tours separately and owns the Dr. Hook trademark. Sawyer retired in 2015 and died after a short illness, on December 31, 2018, at age 81 in Daytona Beach.

Running Into a Drug Ring By Local Don Wilson 1976 along with other things, was the year I was able to drive on the streets of Daytona legally. I was on my mother’s insurance and had my first car that sat on the street because it didn’t run, or rather it ran but had no brakes. Some work needed to be done, let’s just say that. It was the Bicentennial of America, a whole 200 years we had been a country. Before I can tell this story, I must give you some background, some idea of who the people I knew were like back in that time, my friends and confidants of the day. Let me just say that myself and my friends were good people. As adventurous as we were, and not so perfect, we were generally good people who had no record with run-ins with the law. However, we did have a habit of skipping a day or two of school, like every other day or so. Jessie and Chuck Jessie was my best friend at the time. I met him at Ormond Jr. What can I say, we just clicked. Come to find out, his grand parents attended the very same church in Ohio that my grandparents did, and they knew each other. “Small World”. My mother really liked Jessie and was always saying we were a good match. Jessie was just like me in the sense that we were both kind of mellow and somewhat thinkers. We pondered things together. We kind of took life with a grain of salt because we had both been trough enough in life to use a scale to weigh things before, they happened. Having said that, it doesn’t mean we didn’t make our own mistakes along the way of life. Chuck was a strange friend. He was a good friend, just a strange one. Loud and opinionated, full of spunk. He was the fat kid. Like Spanky in the Little Rascals or the fat kid in Goonies. He had the coolest car though. A VW bug that had these super wide tires on it, and it went really fast. The candy apple paint was so cool. The wide tires made this car able to just creep across soft sand like it was not there. Chuck introduced me to pot via way of lifting the hood on his Beatle to reveal a large salad bowl of good clumpy dull greenness of Colombian Gold sitting in the spare tire compartment. Chuck was a good guy, and stood by his friends, I’m glad I was one of them. The odd thing about Chuck is that I have no idea where he was from or where he went to school. Exploring Back Roads of RT.1 Chops 28
Anyone who grew up in Daytona in the 70’s or before knows about the loop, that wonderful mystical, witchy, paranormal trail that leads to so many of our local legends that we tell our children today. Mugwumps, witches, ghosts and the Tomoka light are in our blood to the point that we hand it down through the years. Places like “The Pits” in Ormond, the old cement factory in Flagler, the Marco Polo Park were places of mystery that had to be explored. Where do you stop? The Wrong Place at the Wrong Time It’s never been in my best interest to put myself in a position that compromises my well-being. I like living just enough to see each day through with a positive attitude. “I probably should be more positive than that, but it is what it is”. So, it was the three of us, Chuck, Jessie, and me. We took a muchneeded day off from school “as we often did to do some exploring.” On this particular day, we were driving the loop up old US1 exploring all the dirt road shoot off routes. Some of these roads were just long driveways that lead to homes or shoreline along the Halifax River, some great fishing spots maybe. It was the last one just before you reach route 100 that we turned down. A dirt rode we had never traveled before, and as Chuck made the turn and obligated us on a route of no return not a one of us had the foresight to see what was going on in front of us. Sure, I thought it was odd to see a yellow Cadillac parked on a sandy road facing us as we ventured around the bend off old route 1. I don’t know if they saw it, but I saw a man rase a walkie-talkie radio to his face as we creeped by. I had a habit of noticing things. I still notice things today. That’s just the way I am. I have an eye for detail. Another hundred yards or so down the dusty sandy road and there was another one. By this time, we all realized that something was up. If anyone of us should have known what was going on, I would have expected Chuck would have been the wise one. Maybe he was the wise one after all because as we preceded down this stretch of sandy road and turned another bend into a clearing next to the river, the mood between us all changed dramatically. Keeping Cool Chops 29
As we approached the river, we could see a van backed up to the bank. There was another car or two parked off to the side. I don’t remember what kind they were because fear had kicked in and my detail had gone to a place where the Sun don’t shine if you know what I mean. I remember seeing at least Two john boats stacked full of wrapped bails. That’s it, that’s as far as we can go, we are in deep s#*t! I think we all three saw the dude walking up to us with the shotgun over his shoulder at the same time. I swear to you that this guy was oriental and wearing a white suit. I mean white pants, white vest, and white jacket. Now this is the only person we saw other than the fine gentlemen in the cars on the way down the road. This is movie sh*t I kid you not! Jesse was in the passenger seat, and I was the back seat driver. Jess whispered… “Let’s get the hell out of here.” Before he even finished his sentence that Jap looking dude was at the window. But Chuck was so cool I will never forget it. So here is this Jap looking dude with his foo man chew mustache, white suit, and a shotgun over his shoulder and speaks. “What jew need boy?” Holy crap, I am holding my breath just thinking that Chuck is going to say something stupid. Jesse turns around and looks at me as if to ask, “Is Chuck going to say something stupid?” Just as I am about to shrug my shoulders, Chuck say’s something brilliant. “Umm, does this road go through here?” The Jap looking dude just looked at Chuck and shook his head no, and for some reason puckered his lips as if to blow a kiss at Chuck and then dropped the shotgun down into a parade rest position at his waist. At that point I honestly didn’t know what was going to happen next. I didn’t even know that Jesse and I had both been holding our breath for about five minutes at that point. Even Chuck was showing signs that he may have been soiling his pants. But somehow, he came off with another fantastic reply to the Jap fellow. “Oh thanks, we’ll will just turn around then.” The Maneuver The U-turn was slow. Chuck turned that little bug right to avoid the Jap dude and a few palm trees on the right. Just enough room to make the turn. With the white suit Jap in the back window still watching us, Chuck began to put those wide tires to good use as he gave the car more gas. We knew that there were at least two more Caddies between us and the road. Old US 1. Remember this is part of the loop. Pg. 38 Chops 30

As we passed the last Caddie, I made a point to look and see the guy’s reaction. I saw him talk into that radio again. When the dirt met the pavement Chuck made a left turn onto Old US-1and we headed back to Ormond. The Rush The whole adventure with the drug cartel began at about 2pm and ended by 2:45 pm on a day that we should have been at school. The whole time Chuck had a salad bowl of pot under the front lid of his VW Bug. Ironic don’t you think! The ride back to Ormond was filled with excitement. An adrenalin rush only God should give you. Yet we were in the moment. We knew that we were like the five little piggies who went to market, and we were all the way home baby! We ended up at the Pits in Ormond. “You know where that is right?” That’s when we finally got out of the car and just laughed at the whole situation. Poking one another and making fun. Only after weeks had gone by did the total realization of what we had gotten by with set in. Soon after that, we didn’t talk about it anymore. Thinking Back I’m sure every person has a few stories of their childhood that is worth telling. I think they should be told. I am very grateful for experience over classroom fodder any day. Teach me the basics and let me take it from there. Endeavor to learn and seek what is in your heart. Take a few chances and see where it leads you. Set your own goals but change them as needed. Take your time, but don’t sit on your arse. Decide who you are before deciding what you want to be. Find reason and cause before you act on it and ensure that it is a just one. Remember to forgive yourself and learn from mistakes. Learn from others but lead yourself. Set the bar for yourself and leave it at that. Don’t expect others to follow your standards always, they may be following their own. Most of all, enjoy life for what it is, because life is not guaranteed, and it has no warranty. Have a great day! If you have been in the Biker World for at least 20 years, you know Pee Wee Brown. I met him about 17 years ago when he sold ads for another Biker Rag, and I’ve kept up with him ever since. I knew he was a body man and a great painter (and an interior upholstery man), but never realized how good, until recently. But now Pee Wee is semi retiring and passing on his craftsmanship to Ray, and man o man, this young cat is laying down some crazy paint. From wild metalflake to the chameleon paint and everything in between. I dropped by their small shop here the other day, and I was shocked to see Ray’s work. What Is Freedom? I typed that question into my search bar on the computor, here are some of the answers revealed, by mostly regular people! From the Dictionary: 1. The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. 2. Absence of subjection to foreign domination or despotic government. 3. The state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. The quality or state of being free: such as. a : the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action. b : liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another : independence. c : the quality or state of being exempt or released usually from something onerous freedom from care. Technically, freedom means ‘the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint,’ but here in the United States of America, it means so much more. To Americans and others living here, freedom is the right to be yourself. An example of freedom is the right of U.S. citizens to express their ideas and opinions. An example of freedom is a prisoner being let out of prison after serving their time. The condition of being free of restraints, especially the ability to act without control or interference by another or by circumstance. Freedom is the absence of any pressure from the social, political and religious environment in which we live. Freedom certainly has no particular definition. While some see the opportunity to act freely and personify ideas, others think it is the opportunity to do what we want to do, regardless of the impact on others. The Findings show that freedom can protect humans against natural disasters (such as flood, earthquake, drought etc), social problems (such as mortality, low life expectancy and illiteracy) and economic problems (like unfair income distribution, low income per capita and so on) by expanding human choices and providing choices! It is the idea that freedom means being able to do what you want, without any external obstacles. This concept has been criticized for being too simplistic and not taking into account the importance of individual self-realization. Positive liberty is the ability to fulfill one’s purposes. 3 Steps To Achieve Personal Freedom: Step 1: Create Awareness. Never feel like you have to do something. We all have these false stories in our heads. Step 2: Give Up What’s Caging You. All this stuff sounds easy. Step 3: Plan For Freedom. Wishing, hoping, wanting, talking—it’s all useless without action. What is freedom according to ethics? To be free morally means to have the ability to live according to moral standards – to produce some good, and to attain some virtue. Moral freedom means that we can aspire to what is morally good, or resist what is good. Freedom in Liberal thought means freedom from oppression, not freedom from responsibilities. The only limitation on freedom is that an entity cannot perform initiatory force, threat of force or fraud against any other entity or its property. Other than that, everything is allowed. What is freedom as a student? The freedom for students to learn, explore, and challenge ideas while building and sharing your own opinions is the foundation of what is called academic freedom. The freedom to learn. This freedom protects students from unfair treatment by instructors based on the student’s opinions and beliefs. There are three types of freedom. The first kind of freedom is “freedom from,” a freedom from the constraints of society. Second, is “freedom to,” a freedom to do what we want to do. Thirdly, there is “freedom to be,” a freedom, not just to do what we want, but a freedom to be who we were meant to be. The word freedom comes from an Old English word frēodōm, which was a state of emancipation, liberty, or free will. Chops 52

The Way It Was!!! Back in those good old days, we used ride all night in 3rd gear. Up and down US 1 between an Italian restaurant, with a friendly bar, and a couple of places south, with small bars, and cheap eats. Ending at a place called The Speed Tap. And you could get anything you wanted there. It was a small rough place, out on a barren strip of Rt. 1 and bikers from other towns in the neighboring state were often there. Before all the serious clubs took hold, there was a rivalry that wasn’t exactly friendly. You almost had to post a guard on your bikes because sometimes parts and even whole bikes vanished, mysteriously. The girls were hot, the band loud and crazy, back in the days of GOGO Girls dancing in cages above the bar. Smoky and rather dark, until 2am closing time, when the bright lights came on, and you really saw how much of a dump the place was. ********** Her 1968 GTX It was looking to be a dull weekend, my old car was down, and it was Friday nite. I got invited to a small party across town, and had no way to get there. Until a friend offered to give me a ride, which I accepted. It was a small rather quiet deal, that ended early. But I met a nice girl there and we got to talking until the wine was gone. Since I’m not much of a wine guy, I was pretty sober, but she was feeling it pretty good. She asked me how I got there, and I told her I hitched a ride with my buddy. She then asked if I could drive her home. Well yeah. We got into her car, which was pretty impressive, a 68 Plymouth Chops 54
GTX, big block with a 4speed. And we started off, the car ran really well, smooth and powerful. I eased it thru the gears, resisting the urge to punch it, the interstate towards her place, about 10 miles away. We talked, I drove the speed limit, and held the middle lane. About 65, the car felt really solid, and didn’t betray the 65k on the odometer, it had been well cared for, like new inside and out. Got off the interstate a few miles on the small roads thru her neighborhood and into her drive. She was watching how I drove her car, and told me so. She said she checked her first dates out, but how they drove her car. If they drove it fast, hard, and heavy, she guessed they might treat her the same, no second dates for them. She was looking for respect and it was an easy test most men failed quickly. I had passed the test. ********** A Visting Relative He came to visit us, and was a distant relative of my Dad’s family, some cousin I think. He came on a big black and red motorcycle, I think it was. An Indian. He had a girl with him, riding on the back, she was a flaming redhead, and she was sexy, and had a black eye. Even at 6 I knew she was a different kind of lady. They only stayed overnight, and most of the talk was “ For Adults” and we wernt allowed to listen to it. But he let us sit on that big bike, you could still feel the heat from it, like it was alive, and when he went to kick start it, it actually kicked him back! Like it really was alive. And when they left, it was loud, and he shoved that shift lever foward, and blasted off in a cloud of blue smoke. They weaved back and forth, as they went out of sight, and you could hear them long after they were gone. My Dad said he was a Korean war vet, and was kind of crazy. All I knew was I was going to ride a motorcycle some day.

The Sierra Motel — 1819 S. Atlantic Ave. originally the Blue Horizon, built by the infamous Henry Hannah (when he wasn’t misbehaving on Broadway) for $30,000 (rear section) in 1947.It still exists! Image probably 1960 or so. ********** So Our President goes to a summit, where there are hundreds of leaders of other places, (that already hate us), and PUTS DOWN, not only our Supreme Court BUT basically our Nation. What a “Chicken Shit” move by a Lying, Cheating Piece Of Shit!!! The Stupid Leading The Stupid, His Voters! If Reagan, Bush or Trump had of done this, social media would still be talking about it, but all I hear are crickets from them on this “Blasphemy of our Country”. Trump would have been impeached AGAIN, and Biden should be, but look what’s standing in line, a person who was choosen on her Gender & Color, and NO she isn’t Afro American and a Drunkard, Nancy Pelosi. So it’s Damned if we Do or Damned if we Don’t. THEY ALL NEED TO MOVE ON!!! Chops 56
