INTRODUCTION Reddington Construction has evolved and grown from a successful plastering contractor back in 1980’s to become an established self-delivery building contractor with a portfolio of completed projects ranging from £4m to £14m in both the residential and mixed-use sectors.

AUM CREMATORIUM DENHAM

Client: Anoopam Mission Value: £11.6m

Reddington Construction has secured the contract to build a state-of-the-art crematorium in Denham, Buckinghamshire for our valued client Annopam Mission.

The proposed crematorium also includes reception area, offices, waiting rooms, private ritual rooms, large ceremony halls, large crematory, shower facilities and along with canteen.

The proposed crematorium building and associated facilities are designed and tailored to meet the needs of the Hindu community.

The proposed completion date is Sept 2026 and once complete this will be the first ever Hindu Crematorium not only in the UK but in the whole of Europe.

COTTENHAM PARK ROAD WIMBLEDON

Client: Private Client Value: £5.2m Architects: Powell Tuck Associates

Demolition of two existing detached dwellings and construction of two new three-storey buildings (including lower ground floors), delivering three houses and five flats with associated landscaping. This was a particularly challenging project, set on a tight, sloping site within a builtup residential area. Despite these constraints, we achieved a high-quality result with high specification finishes throughout.

WANDLE BANK WIMBLEDON

The Wandle Bank Project in Colliers Wood, Wimbledon, involved the development of 46 residential units and 2 commercial units across 3 blocks, all executed as a comprehensive in-house turnkey project, including demolition. Situated in a busy residential area, the development was completed with a focus on delivering high-quality new homes.

HOP STUDIOS TOWER BRIDGE

The Hop Studios project involved the sensitive redevelopment of a landmark building, originally constructed in 1887, into four high-end residential units spread across four floors, including a considerable roof extension. This full turnkey conversion transformed the former commercial office space into three elegant two-bedroom lateral apartments and a penthouse, all completed to a very high standard. The renovation preserved many of the building’s original design features, including antiquated doors, exposed brickwork, and impressive floor-to-ceiling heights, blending historic charm with modern living.

COMMERCIAL ROAD 1 ALDGATE

Commercial Road 1 involved the construction of seven apartments spread across six floors, with a commercial unit on the ground floor. Situated in the heart of Aldgate, this development required meticulous planning to maximise the use of space while maintaining the character of the area, creating contemporary living spaces within the constraints of a densely populated urban environment.

Commercial Road 2 involved the construction of 16 residential apartments and a commercial unit, including a basement, spread across eight floors. This full turnkey project showcased our expertise in managing complex builds efficiently. The development required extensive structural modifications, including reinforcing load-bearing walls and meticulously coordinating services across multiple floors.

HOLMES ROAD KENTISH TOWN

Holmes Road featured the development of 9 residential units, 1 commercial unit, and a basement, all completed as part of a comprehensive in-house turnkey project, including demolition. Situated in bustling Kentish Town the project required expert management to navigate the challenges of high-density construction while maintaining quality and efficiency. Our team successfully handled every aspect of the build, ensuring a seamless integration of new spaces within this busy urban environment.

NORTHDOWN STREET KING’S CROSS

Client: Private Client Value: £3.4m Architects: PHD Associates

Northdown Street, Kings Cross, involved the demolition of an existing public house and the construction of a new building comprising nine residential units above ground floor commercial space. The scheme included a substantial singlestorey basement excavation, followed by a full in-house fitout once the structure was complete and the building made watertight. This was a logistically complex project, delivered on a tight site bordered by occupied residential properties on both sides.

THE OLD POST OFFICE COTSWOLDS Client: Private Client Value: £2.3m

The project entailed conversion of an existing three-story building in the Cotswolds - formerly a Post Office - plus an additional connected new build that contains 9 apartments with balcony, ancillary commercial office accommodation and residents’ parking.
