WHO WE ARE
Cobb County PARKS manages 90 properties, of which 78 are developed parks, that encompass over 6,000 acres. As the primary provider of leisure services and facilities within the county, the department provides a wide range of athletic, artistic, therapeutic and educational services Specialized facilities include the Cobb County Civic Center Complex, Al Bishop and Lost Mountain Softball Complexes, five recreation centers, five community centers, four arts centers, the Mable House-Barnes Amphitheatre, the Cobb Gymnastics Center, six tennis centers and 13 satellite tennis court locations, four indoor aquatic centers and two outdoor seasonal pools, more than 60 miles of trails, two golf courses and the fairgrounds at Jim Miller Park The department also operates the Miller Park Event Center as a premier rental facility for special events.

Get your game face on, because the Cobb PARKS Adult Flag Football Program is back and better than ever! The action goes down at Terrell Mill Park on Sundays, with leagues catering to all levels of experience. For the advanced teams, there's the men's A 7v7 league, while beginner to intermediate teams can compete in the men's B 7v7 league. And, for those who want to mix things up, there's the coed 8v8 open league. Games may be played as early as 8:30am and as late as 9:30pm. All teams are guaranteed 7 games. Registering as an individual for this league does not guarantee you a place on a team
CORNHOLE
Cornhole is a lawn game, where players toss the bags from opposite ends of the boards and attempt to make the bags into the six inch holes cut into the plywood boards. A bag on the board is worth 1 point and a bag in the hole scores 3 points. Who first scores 21 points wins! Games will be played on Thursday nights at the Al Bishop Complex. If we do not have a minimum of 5 teams per division, we will combine the division into one. Players ages 16+ are welcome to play. Teams will play a best of 3 series each week

Join the Cobb PARKS Adult Coed Kickball Program Today! Looking For a fun, active way to spend your evenings? Look no further than our Coed Kickball Program. Players ages 16 and up are welcome. Games take place on Thursday nights at the Al Bishop Complex. Each team must have between 7-11 players on the field at a time, with at least 3 females on the field at all times To ensure a level playing field, we offer three leagues:

The Cobb County Level Up Tennis Program aims to transform inexperienced players into skilled individuals capable of joining tennis or pickleball teams. This program is divided into two parts based on player ability and age groups:
Adult Level 1 (Beginner): Ideal for players with minimal to no experience, this level focuses on introducing basic strokes and skills essential for pickleball in an engaging and interactive manner
Adults (16 & Up): This group employs pickleballs to enhance skills required for participation in adult teams or casual play with family and friends

For youngsters aged 4 and above, Cobb PARKS provides a comprehensive youth tennis program that includes classes, private lessons and tournaments. What sets us apart from other programs is the expertise of our professional coaching team. Our track record demonstrates our ability to bring out the best in every athlete who joins our program.

YOUTH CLASSES
GIRLS GYMNASTICS | Ages 6-17
Girls aged 6 and up can enroll in gymnastics classes grouped by ability They will enhance their strength and body control while mastering the Olympic apparatus, including the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. As they progress from levels 1 to 5, they will reach new heights in their skills.
BOYS GYMNASTICS | Ages 6-14

SPECIALITY CLASSES
ADULTS GYMNASTICS | Ages 16+
These gymnastics classes, with Prerequisite Level 1 or staff approval, teach a range of skills from rolls and handstands to cast and vault. Improve your balance, coordination, and strength with supports, pullovers, and running drills.
CHEER/TUMBLE | Ages 8-16
