Ministry of Health data released on Tuesday, 16 November, showed the vaccination rates in Coatesville still haven't reached 90%. So far, 89.64% of our 1979 eligible residents have had one vaccine dose while 84.23% of people are fully vaccinated. Albany and Riverhead are both over 90% − just saying. Come on Coatesville, let's get jabbed!

Flippin' good idea! W hen the Covid lockdown meant no outdoor markets for another month, Sweet As Crêpes owners and pancakemaking professionals, Lisa Shepherd and Tarnia Harman thought outside the square. Their kitchen premises are mobile so they towed their pancake kitchen to the end of their driveway in Coatesville and set up a pop-up shop. With their sign and menu outside the Settlers Hall, posts on social media and their website, the pair attracted customers from all over Auckland. So, what's the most popular of the 14 flavours during level 3? Lisa says the Super Savoury − crammed with loads of savoury goodness and lightly toasted − is the winner, but in second place is the traditional lemon and sugar.
