Santa visits Coatesville Market

Santa 'sleighed it' in his other car, a 1955 Vauxhall Velox, on his visit to Coatesville Market

S

ummer arrived at Coatesville Market on Sunday, 3 December and so did Santa in his Vauxhall car to spread seasonal good cheer among market goers. There was a huge crowd present with carparks crammed and sunhants essential, under the bluest of skies and temperatures over 25°C. While shoppers meandered between stalls, sampling the treats and eyeing-up lunch options, Stephen Small on piano and bassist Jo Shum entertained the crowd with quality jazz music from outside the Settlers Hall. Meanwhile Ross Paterson (above) in the hi-viz vest helped with Santa crowd control and superivsed lolly deployment.
