Fastest four to finish half marathon The annual Mizuno Coatesville Half Marathon hosted by Running Events attracted a huge crowd once again this year. Around 1600 people took part across all of the events held on Sunday, 19 March, and roughly 630 people ran the half marathon. First place went to Stephen Lett who completed the 21km course in 1:17:02 followed closely by Mark Paterson in second place with 1:17:44. Third place went to Chris Trent who crossed the line at 1:20:01 and Matthew Peach came in fourth with 1:21:44. The first woman home was Anwen Robinson with 1:31:01. See pages 6 and 7 for more photos.

Top performers at HOY
Brooke won 11 Years and Under Rider of the Year and Mia (aged 9) won First Year Ridden Rider of the Year while Trey (aged 13) and their four-year-old horse Saffy won Open Saddle Hunter Pony of the Year. For more Coatesville Pony Club rider results from HOY, go to page 4.

Coatesville Pony Club riders, the Cadwallader family, proved their supremacy in the saddle again this year, taking away nine national titles and one runner-up prize at Horse of the Year 2018 (HOY). The talented trio also won their riding pony society classes.
