ocal resident Briarna Haigh married Taylor Williams on 26 February 2022. The ceremony and reception were held at the Coatesville Hall with photos taken in the beautiful gardens of Helen and Paul Cato. The Haigh family has a long association with the area spanning over 100 years. Ancestors have attended Coatesville school, Briarna and her brother Drew were the fourth generation of their family to do so. Briarna later trained as a primary school teacher and like her mum Cate, taught at Coatesville School. Over the years the family have spent many hours on and around the Coatesville Reserve. Briarna began to ride at Coatesville Pony Club, Cate has been active on the PFA, Pony Club and CHARAC committees while her father Warren was on the Coatesville School board for many years. The Haigh family's relatives with the surname Marychurch are also remembered on the Roll of Honour which hangs inside the Settlers Hall.

ANZAC Day Dawn Service
The Coatesville Residents and Ratepayers invites everyone to attend the ANZAC Day commemorative service at the Settlers Hall on Monday, 25 April. The service starts promptly at 7am so come al little earlier to get a good spot. A morning tea will follow the formalities and everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments and to catch up with friends and neighbours.
