By Suzanne Perez Swanson ENCINITAS — Bentley’s Steak & Chop House was the location for the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce’s November networking luncheon. Instead of the pouring rain that we experienced for the Sundowner, we had a hot summer day, which made the subdued, cool atmosphere of this beautiful restaurant even more inviting. The menu selections made for difficult decisions. Andy Phemister took over host duties and got everyone laughing and nodding in agreement by sharing what he doesn’t like about most events of this type; so guests introduced themselves and their businesses, talked and talked and networked. Several chamber board members, Alfredo Gonzales, Garcia’s Restaurant; Suzanne Perez Swanson, florist; and former board vice president, Genevieve Wing, 3 Wings ❚
