Yes, we will!
Powerful messages of hope and health expressed in colorful chalk appeared in downtown Carpinteria last week thanks to Mask Up Carp, a City-sponsored campaign to promote public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. The art pictured here can be found on the 7th Street side of the former Austin’s Hardware building. The artist, who identified herself only as Kit, used chalk paint to create a stunning storm scene that pairs our current challenges with a note of optimism.
