Making spirits bright

Carpinteria Children’s Project kids Adelynn Sandoval and Delilah Hernandez lead the way for the Girls Inc. crew during the Holiday Spirit Parade on Saturday, Dec. 14, on Linden Avenue. A cold wind couldn’t dampen their spirits, and the crowd was thrilled to see cheerleaders, local dignitaries and Santa Claus himself atop a fire engine during the annual holiday parade in Carpinteria.
