September has been a good month for the Coastal Tsunami (5-2) and this evening the club has the opportunity to finish September with a win.
The Grandview Steelers (2-4-1) look to spoil the team’s orange shirt game in what will be the first-ever meeting against these two teams.
Unlike the Tsunami, the Steelers have not had a good start to their season and have undoubtedly struggled to have success after trading away 2007-born forward Oliver Nottingham in the off-season.
Grandview has failed to score in their past two games and is tied with North Vancouver for the fewest number of goals scored, 12. Tonight’s game should be a fun one!

Gabriel Adam has had a good start to his final season of junior hockey with four points (1-3) in six games. The Steelers Captain leads his team in points and is just one of four Steelers players with more than one point this season
The right-shot defenceman has been with Grandview since the 2020-21 season and tonight marks his 144th game in the PJHL.
During his tenured career, the North Vancouver product has scored 23 goals and recorded 46 assists for 69 points.
Adam will be looking to spark his teammates as they look for their first goal in three games and ultimately secure a victory on the road.
No player is more excited to face the Grandview Steelers than former Steelers forward Oliver Nottingham
Nottingham suited up in all but one regular season contest with the Steelers last season and has had this game circled on his calendar for a very long time.
The pride of New Westminster leads the Tsunami with 11 points (5-6) in seven games and sits 13th in PJHL scoring.
All eyes will be on number eleven as he has something to prove and looks to show GM Aldo Bruno what he’s missing out on.
