IT’S PARENTS’ WEEKEND
This weekend, the Coastal Tsunami (11-10-1-1) and the Chilliwack Jets (23-1-0-0) will play back-to-back games.
Chilliwack enters the weekend with a five-point lead in first place, while the Coastal Tsunami is on the outside looking in at a potential playoff spot. The Tsunami is tied with Grandview in points and games. Still, Grandview is holding the final playoff spot in the Tom Shaw Conference thanks to a shootout victory against the Tsunami earlier in the season.
There is business to take care of here on the Coast, with the Jets' 21-game win streak looking to be snapped by the Tsunami. Tonight’s game is set for 7:00 pm, while tomorrow’s game will occur at 5:00 pm. This will be the final 7:00 pm puck drop at home this season.

Jesse Brideau (24-14-11-25) is tied for points on the Chilliwack Jets with Mark Myronov (20-6-19-25) and is looking to add to his point totals this weekend.
Brideau captained team PJHL to a 4-1 victory against the KIJHL at this season ’ s BCHC Top Prospects Game, and now he’s ready to get back to work with the Jets. The 2006-born forward is in his second season of PJHL hockey, and even as a rookie, he had no trouble putting up points, registering 54 of them in 48 games The product of Prince George, BC, will have the spotlight on him once again.
Nick Peters is the captain of the Coastal Tsunami, and for good reasons, too. Admired by his teammates and fans for his work ethic, the 2004-born goaltender from Powell River, BC, has helped guide his team to eight of their first eleven wins this year He has the best save percentage in the PJHL at .936 and has managed three shutouts. Peters is this team's leader and hopes to lead the Tsunami to victories against the Jets this weekend.
