




The Coastal Tsunami (7-5-0-1) put on quite the show for their fans tonight but ultimately could not beat the Sockeyes (11-3), who pulled off a 3-2 victory.
It was a back-and-forth affair, but penalties ultimately cost the Tsunami, who surrendered the game-winning goal on the Penalty Kill.
These two teams are back in action tonight with puck drop set for 5:00 pm.

Sockeyes forward Nicholas Noren is just one of two 2004born players on the Richmond Sockeyes this season Noren is in his third and final campaign with the Sockeyes, producing at a very high rate.
The left-shot forward has scored 11 goals and assisted on 14, giving him 25 points through the first 14 games of the season The Vernon, BC, product is six points ahead of Teo
Lin for first in Sockeyes scoring and fifth in the PJHL
The Tsunami held him off the scoresheet last night, and they will need to continue to have their eyes on him.
The Sockeyes may have a player from Vernon, BC (Nicholas Noren), but so does the Coastal Tsunami in Jayden Attwood.
Attwood (6’3”, 205 pounds) spent parts of the past two seasons in the VIJHL with the Campbell River Storm. He played 18 regular season games, registered one goal, and added six assists for seven points
The right-shot blueliner is the twenty-fourth player to commit to playing for the Tsunami. He has played big minutes in five games with Coastal and has recorded an assist.
