






The Coastal Tsunami (6-4-0-1) hope tonight's TURKEY Showdown against the Langley Trappers (8-6) will put them back into the win column after two road losses earlier this week, including one to the same Langley Trappers team.
Puck drop is set for 5:00 p.m., and fans are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to the game to support the Salvation Army Sunshine Coast Food Bank.
Saturday's Thanksgiving duel is these two teams' second meeting and first on the Coast. They will then meet again at the end of the month in Langley on October 30 to conclude the season series.

Tonight's game has a little extra meaning for a particular Trappers player Goaltender Hayden Lovell faces his hometown team for the first time on the Coast, and the Gibsons, BC product can't wait. It's still being determined whether or not the 2006-born goaltender will get the nod in net, but he will be ready if he does play.
Lovell has played in six of his team's first ten games, with three wins and two losses He's posted a 3 36 goals against average and 0.887 save percentage, and he's still looking for his first PJHL shutout.
Ethan Smid's name is becoming synonymous in the PJHL as a goal-scoring player. Smid is in his first and only season in the PJHL as a 2004-born forward. The Williams Lake, BC, native has his team's only hat trick in franchise history, and before the game against Langley, he had goals in his last two games.
He has fit nicely with the Coastal Tsunami and produced six goals and two assists for eight points in eleven games.
