VOLUNTEER CONNECTION

“CELEBRATINGTHEHANDSAND HEARTSTHATGIVESOMUCH"

On April 23, we had the pleasure of hosting our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at The Ridge. It was a meaningful afternoon filled with connection, gratitude, and celebration of the remarkable contributions our volunteers make throughout the year. Thank you to all who attended and to every volunteer who continues to support our mission with dedication and heart

MEETTHEVOLUNTEER COORDINATORS:

This quarter, we are proud to shine our Volunteer Spotlight on Janet Livingston, a true example of compassion, dedication, and service

Janet has gone above and beyond in her role, especially in areas where volunteer coverage is limited. Without hesitation, she has stepped in to ensure that every patient in need receives the attention, comfort, and connection they deserve. From making extra visits to staying in close communication with staff, Janet consistently rises to the occasion, embodying what it means to serve with heart.

Her willingness to take on several patients at once often traveling across multiple locations is not only admirable, but deeply impactful. Thanks to Janet, many patients who might have otherwise gone without a volunteer experience have felt seen, heard, and cared for

Thank you, Janet, for your incredible commitment You remind us all of the powerful difference one person can make

AMESSAGEFROMTHE VOLUNTEERMANAGER

Spring has officially sprung and with May flowers blooming all around us, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on growth, renewal, and all the beauty that comes from dedication and care. Much like the season, our volunteer team continues to blossom in the most inspiring ways.

We recently had such a wonderful time at the Volunteer Appreciation Lunch! Seeing so many of you gathered together, sharing laughs and stories, reminded me once again of the heart and community that make this work so special. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who couldn’t make it, you were certainly missed! I’m also excited to share that we ’ re growing in another way: we ’ ve welcomed two new volunteer coordinators to our team! I’m confident they’ll bring great energy and support as we move forward together. Thank you, truly, for all that you do. Your commitment and compassion are the roots of everything we accomplish, and I’m so grateful to work alongside such a dedicated group.

With appreciation, -Jeffrey
