Coastal Drive Magazine is a new luxe local lifestyle magazine focusing on the latest trends in fash ion, beauty, travel, and entertainment.
Our mission is to spotlight and support local businesses as we take you on a journey around the coast of South Florida exploring all the latest hotspots and current trends.
Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons as I’m sure it’s the same for many of us year-round Florida residents. While we don’t get to experience the change of seasons here in the Sunshine State, we embrace the season with our own sense of the seasons style - wearing white after Labor Day, still wearing sundresses and embracing the bright colors that match our bright blue waterways and palm trees.
We are all looking forward to saying farewell to the heat and humidity and welcoming slightly cooler weather and the holiday season. With so many fantastic new local spots, there's something for everyone to ex perience and enjoy. Be sure to check out and support local businesses this holiday season.
Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday and Happy New Year! Another year passed us by in the blink of an eye. That old saying, “Time flies when you are having fun” - is indeed a true state ment. I hope you enjoy reading and learning about some of our finest local spots!

As we are approaching Fall 2022, Melissa and her team are predicting this season's hottest hair color, cut, and style trends. While for the past decade, ashy blonde has been the most sought-after color, this year people are opting for warmer, shinier tones. Both blondes and brunettes are wanting more natural dimension throughout their hair which we love because healthy hair is always in style. 90’s trends are also still making a huge comeback with some wanting bolder dimension in their hair. It’s not only in hair color that we are seeing 90’s trends reappear. Fall will bring us all of the layered cuts, curtain bangs, bouncy blowouts, and velcro rollers that we have been missing.

The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary has become a community sta ple for the Palm Beaches, Treasure Coast, and its residents. Its family-friendly atmosphere has contributed to its #1 ranking of things to do in Jupiter accord ing to Tripadvisor.com and was named the 2022 Non-Profit of the Year by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce.
Over 150,000 children and adults visit the Sanctuary each year and an additional 50,000 people participate in the Sanc tuary’s outreach programs, tours, and exhibits. Undoubt edly, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary has helped to make our com munity a very desirable place to live and visit.
That is the mission of local non-profit, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary.
Local residents have taken pride in helping Busch Wildlife Sanctuary to grow into a valuable community resource. The Sanctuary offers residents and visitors a unique opportunity to learn about nature through interactive educational pro grams. The Sanctuary’s wildlife rehabilitation efforts provide a much-needed community service in helping sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals. 90% of the almost 6,000 patients admitted each year to the Sanctuary’s wildlife rehabilita tion center have suffered from some type of human-related injury. Collisions with automo biles, fishing line entanglement, illegal gunshots, poisonings, and electrocutions, are only a small example of the types of injuries that are regularly treated. At any given moment, more than 75 animals are being looked after and will be further assessed post-treatment if they are healthy enough to be re leased back into the wild.
Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is the perfect oasis for both wildlife and families alike in the midst of our growing community. The sanctuary offers interactive opportu nities for all guests such as wildlife encounters, alligator talks, storytime, hunters of the sky, and reptiles rule. Other educational activi ties involve the community through programs such as Junior Naturalist, community service, guided tours, and much more. The Environ mental Education Program is a curriculum-based program geared toward adults and children to learn more about native plants and animal species. It also provides the opportunity to participate in conservation efforts for the preservation and protection of our native wildlife and endangered species!
In addition to wildlife reha bilitation and environmental education, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is dedicated to the protection and conser vation of our area’s wildlife and natural resources. The Sanctuary takes a proactive approach to working with residents, business owners, and developers to create a community that successfully preserves the environmental and natural assets.
In March 2023, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary will be moving to its new location on Rocky Pines Road and West Indiantown Road in Jupiter Farms af ter a 30-year-long lease in the Loxahatchee Riv er District. At the 19.4-acre piece of property, six miles west of the current location, construction continues on the $18 million facility that will broaden the nonprofit’s impact on keystone species. The sanctuary will nearly triple in size when it relocates to 17855 Rocky Pines Road and the 4,000-square-foot hospital will ensure a greater rate of return to the wild and improve care for the injured and sick critters who will be treated at this state-of-the-art facility.
We strongly encourage our local residents and wildlife naturists to get involved in our capital campaign to help fund the new sanctuary.
For over 30 years, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, the largest such facility in Palm Beach County, has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing our native species by the thousands. Reintroducing endangered and keystone species back into our fragile ecosystems. Since our founding, over 1.7 million guests have participated in our educa tion programs on the need for environmental conservation and protection.
OUR WILDLIFE IS ON THE MOVE AND SO ARE WE!
The increasing demand for our services has led us to compelling crossroads having outgrown our current leased space. We are now at a turn ing point -- developing a larger campus, almost 20 acres which will nearly double our space, that we can call our own for many generations to come.
WHERE: The new property is located at Rocky Pines Road and Indiantown Road, just west of 1-95.
WHEN: We broke ground in March of 2022, with infrastructure and buildings to follow.
THE PROBLEM: South Florida's wildlife is being displaced by a growing population and en croaching development. Nearly 90% of the inju ries treated at our wildlife hospital are directly related to man-made causes.
THE SOLUTION: Our Wildlife Needs YOU! - We Need Your Help to ensure the future of these efforts. The Nurture What's Wild Capital Cam paign will allow us to build expanded rehabilita tion areas for wildlife. This exciting time brings additional, meaningful ways we can partner together to build a strong foundation for gener ations to come.
You can make a one-time gift or you can support via a multi-year pledge, stocks, annuities, or a planned estate gift. Every dollar counts! If you are interested in discussing a naming opportu nity or becoming more involved as a volunteer, please call Lisa Wynne at (561) 575-3399 or Email: asstdirector@buschwildlife.org
If you live in Palm Beach, you likely have visited or at least heard of HIVE. From Home Design & Decor to Fashion Apparel, to a Bakery & Cafe; HIVE is indeed a destination you can't miss. Coastal Drive Magazine sits down to talk with the woman behind it all, Sara McCann.
As I approach the HIVE destination, the Café & Bakery immediately catches my eye and I even see they offer valet parking. I enter one of the many building entrances and I'm greeted by a beautifully decorated interior space that is full of color, vibrancy, and exquisite finishes that I just could not help but smile. Now I am even more eager to meet Sara and hear her story.
CDM: Hi Sara. It is a pleasure meeting you! Tell me, did you always have a passion for fashion and design?
SM: Yes, during my college years at the Univer sity of Wisconsin, Madison, I was enrolled in their fashion retailing and merchandising pro gram. From there, I was recruited by Neiman Marcus and was fortunate enough to go through their executive management training program. I became an assistant buyer, learned the retail side and had the experience of assisting with a new store opening. This led to meeting a design er who offered me the opportunity to open up a store on Worth Avenue. So, I moved to Palm Beach and I have been here ever since!
CDM: When did you become interested in inte rior design?
SM: After I married my husband, we bought our first home and I initially hired an interior designer. During that process, I discovered my pas sion for interior design. We launched McCann Design Group so we could finish our first home and then build/renovate seven more homes. This allowed me to cut my teeth on my own projects. When our daughter hit third grade, I realized I was getting enough requests from friends and family that I should either pursue this full-time or drop it - but I didn’t want to do it halfway anymore and that’s when I really took a leap of faith.
CDM: Is your work predominantly in Palm Beach County, or do you also have interior design projects in other areas?
SM: Yes, mostly in Palm Beach County. How ever, we have worked with existing clients on their additional homes located in other cities and states. We recently finished the Carmel, CA home of a client who was originally one of our Palm Beach clients.
CDM: Do you have a signature or favorite style of interior design?
SM: Pattern mixing and using clear, vibrant colors that work with our environment of blue skies and greenery. Our philosophy at McCann Design Group is that we don’t have a specific look. My team and I may gravitate towards a certain style but at the end of the day, it’s the client’s home. We guide our clients and pay careful attention to their style so it is a collab orative effort.
CDM: What have you seen as far as changes with interior design trends and has it been challenging keeping current with the changes?
SM: We’ve seen a shift away from a more traditional and British Colonial style that was really popular in South Florida twenty years ago. Now we’re seeing that people want a more streamlined look. For example, mixing old Florida rattan with lucite for a fresher, more modern approach.
“When I first got married, be coming a wife and mother was what I really wanted. However, as time went on, I recognized that there is a side of me who wanted to work and express creativity — I wanted to have something that I was proud of and gave me a sense of accomplishment.”
CDM: You have done a phenomenal job in making your brand a destination in Palm Beach! What has inspired you over the years to keep expanding the HIVE brand? McCann Design Group - in 2000; Hive Home, Gift & Garden - founded in 2013; Hive for Her, Him & Kids - founded in 2019; Hive Trade Showroom - founded in 2021 and Hive Bakery & Cafefounded in 2022.
SM: After we bought the building for our home store, we renovated it with finishes so that our design clients could see, touch, and feel every thing. We found that clients didn’t want to wait long lead times and this lead us to the decision to sell items off our floor. We always had goto gifts for women, men and babies and they consistently flew out the door as fast as we got them in. So, that was our “ah-ha” moment that we needed to expand that part of our business which is now Hive for Her, Him & Kids. We’ve had a robust trade business all along and we were given the opportunity to represent about 40 different brands of fabrics and wall cov erings—so about a year ago, we opened Hive Trade Showroom.
Our most recent venture is Hive Bakery & Cafe which has actually been in the works for about 6 years. I will circle back around to my original job with Neiman Marcus: if you go to the downtown Dallas store, you must have lunch at the Zodiac Restaurant. If you go to Bergdorf Goodman in New York, you always go up to the restaurant on the 7th floor. At Barney’s New York, you always went to Fred’s. It just became one of those things that every great retailer has a great restaurant. Also, the number one question we got asked during the day in our stores was “Where can I get a cup of coffee?” or “Where can I go to get lunch?” There really wasn’t anything within a radius of a couple blocks. It has been a passion project and gratefully, I found a really talented husband and wife team: he’s the Executive Chef and she’s the Executive Pastry Chef. We opened earlier this year in March and I am so impressed with my whole team and what they have been able to create. The pastry counter is above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined.
“Every summer we take a moment, have a breather, take our vacations and re-group to talk about what we did well, what we can do better, where we are missing opportunities, what holes are in the marketplace - and these sessions are where the ideas come from.”
Nickolas Sargent Photography
CDM: What is your secret to successfully own ing/managing multiple businesses?
SM: The key to success is I’ve been blessed and fortunate enough to have a fabulous team. Whenever I interview someone, it’s got to be God first, then family, then work. We promote a healthy, happy work-life balance for our team which has enabled us to attract and retain really talented associates which has been a key factor to our success. We’re collaborators over com petitors - so collaboration is key here.
CDM: How do you maintain a healthy balance of personal life and work-life balance?
SM: I’m Christian and my faith is a huge part of the success of the business. Before I make any big decisions, I attend bible study and I pray about it before making them. My husband has been really supportive - having key partners and my faith are really the two biggest things that have helped me and Hive Collective succeed.
CDM: Are there any plans for any additional HIVE expansions – divisions or other locations in other areas?
SM: Of course we do! We do have a few secret projects we are working on right now that probably won’t be announced for at least another year.
CDM: What community organizations are you currently involved with or are passionate about supporting?
SM: The community has been so supportive of us and we try to partner with 8-10 charities ev ery year and support them in some way: wheth er it’s sponsorships, in-store events, baked goods from Hive Bakery & Cafe, or participating in their programs. We support The Center for Creative Education, The Alliance for Eating Disorder Awareness, The Boys & Girls Club, and many more very worthwhile organizations.
CDM: What advice can you offer to other en trepreneurs either looking to start their own business or looking to expand their existing business?
SM: I think it’s important to have a mentor but most importantly, I keep circling back to my faith. I prayed about it and I felt like I was in God’s will and moving according to what he wanted me to be doing and the path that he wanted me to be taking. There were several obstacles and people who didn’t agree with my vision or didn’t support what I wanted to do. Even if people who are close to you are not necessarily supportive, at the end of the day, you have to go with what you think is right and where you’re being led.
CDM: Sara, thank you for taking the time and to allow our local community readers in the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast to get to know YOU and the HIVE Brand!
“You have to take those leaps of faith even when you don’t know how it’s going to end up - other wise, you won’t ever move out of the starting gate.”

orn and raised in Martin County, I’ve always loved where I live, but it wasn’t until I returned home from college that I began to appreciate all of the fantastic food options in and around Stuart. After college, I quickly obtained my real estate license and found myself going out for lunch and din ner with clients quite often. Many of these in dividuals were from out of town, so they would ask me to choose a location. This allowed me to show off Stuart’s many family-owned and oper ated restaurants serving high-quality, delicious food. From waterfront dining, fine dining, ca sual eateries, boutique coffee shops, sushi, and breakfast and brunch spots, Stuart offers dozens of great dining experiences for every pallet and budget. When asked to select a few of my favorites, it was challenging. In addition to the food itself, I believe the entire dining experience from the service, quality, and value all play an essential part. These are just a few of my favor ite spots that I visit regularly.

This is where you will find me eating lunch at least one day a week. Not your typical Asian or Thai restaurant in town. Fresh quality ingre dients and amazing flavors are what separates them from the rest. They are in process of expanding their indoor dining to accommodate more tables, which should be open soon, and also offer outdoor covered seating as well.

Beautiful location in a brand new building with a spacious outdoor patio for happy hour, dinner, or late-night bites and wine. Top-notch service, quality, and exceptional menu options make this restaurant stand out and create a memorable dining experience from start to finish. Family-owned and operated, Giordano “Giordi” was born in the city of Milan, Italy. He comes from a long line of authentic restaurateurs, and as young as 8 years old, he remembers observ ing and learning from his family’s businesses. Giordi’s son Alberto would grow to love the restaurant business, taking after his father, and choosing to follow in his father’s footsteps. With that in mind, the decision to name the restau rant after his father also came as no surprise. Today, Alberto and Giordi are proudly serving the community of Stuart in South Florida. They look forward to bringing an innovative dining experience to town, and are eager to share their passion for authentic food and wine with their future guests. This is a must-visit destination and worth a trip if you live outside of Stuart!

A South Florida native, I was born in Miami and raised in Palm Beach. I attended the Uni versity of Florida before moving to Charlotte, NC for a few years. During this time the county boomed with new developments popping up. When I returned I began @EatPalmBeach as a way to rediscover my hometown while supporting local business es. People gather around food and beverage, so the dining scene was the perfect introduc tion to new communities, restau rants, and talent. The culinary offerings have exploded over the past decade, but here are a few of my “must sees” when crossing the county line.
With so many fine dining options in South Flor ida, restaurants have to offer something unique to draw the locals in. Michelin Star Chef, Akira Back brings a delightful culinary experience that you will be certain to continue to crave and want more!
Located in the heart of Delray Beach at The Ray Hotel, Akira Back opened its doors in early 2022. The modern organic decor gives off Miami-chic vibes.

With so much data available at our finger tips, how do buyers and sellers evaluate their sale and purchase decisions? In our specific markets of northern Palm Beach County and southern Martin County, we are typically insulated against large fluctuations. We feel the current market conditions are healthier for both buyers and sellers as the additional days on market allow fair compe tition and time to determine the true value for specific properties.
Interest rates are still relatively low and cash purchasers continue to outnumber financed purchasers in this area. Add to that the uniquely pristine waterways, gracious green spaces, and world-class amenities, it’s no wonder the Jupiter area markets continue to thrive.
Our team of professionals is skilled in eval uating the finest opportunities for our pur chasers and we work diligently to determine the optimal marketing strategy to maximize value for our selling clients who place their most valuable asset in our care.
If you desire crystal blue waters, stunning sunsets, and a place to just “be as you are”, then St. John in the US Virgin Islands is your place!
You don’t even need a passport to visit! Just hop on a direct flight from Miami to St Thomas, St John’s sister island, where you can choose one of two ferry options to get you to St John and on island time.
Steps from the ferry boat is the brand new boutique hotel, Wharfside Village. This 15-room barefoot chic inn, with meticulously designed interiors, is right on the sand and offers 6 different styles of rooms for your getaway. The King Master Suite is my personal favorite as it offers stunning views over Cruz Bay. Here you can watch boats slide in and out of the harbor, day or night. The beds envelop you into a peaceful night of sleep thanks to their sumptuous bedding and hurricane-grade glass. Although you are steps from wonderful restaurants and bars, you hear nothing at all as you fall into a restful slumber. The real bonus is the show er! It offers a peekaboo window that has you gazing out at the views of Cruz Bay from your suite.
Once you are well rested, it’s time to explore all that St John has to offer. 2/3 of the island is a designated National Park, so beauty is everywhere on this lush island. If you are looking to be active, you can hike one of the many trails that lead to historic ruins, old sugar plantations, and also trails that lead to stunning views or secluded beaches.
Speaking of beaches, St John has some of the best that I have ever seen! Many of which can be reached by car or one of the many Island taxis. One of my favorites is Trunk Bay, which has consistently been vot ed as one of the top beaches in the world. One visit and you will see why. Even the overlook on your approach to Trunk Bay will leave you saying, “WOW”! It offers not only breathtaking beach vistas but also an underwater snorkel trail, full-bathroom facilities and beachside food and beverage options.
In my opinion, the best way to see St John is by water. There are a plethora of boat charter companies available on the island. You can rent a dinghy for the day to explore North Area beaches, hop aboard the Ke koa for a snorkel or a sunset cruise, or have a charter boat bring you to the infamous “Lime Out” which is a floating taco bar.
If a longer-term charter is what you’d prefer I highly recommend Stray Shower charters with Captain Bill and Tamii! Their beautiful catamaran offers 4 cabins and a boat full of memories! They can help you build your ideal itinerary to hidden gems and popular spots all around St John! It is perfect for a family vacation, girl's getaway, guy's trip or couples retreat!
St John has a way of stealing your heart. So it is appropriate that its nickname is “Love City.” Once you visit there, you too will fall in love with this wonderful island in the sun.
Imagine a weekend getaway relaxing, shopping, and exploring downtown, which is just steps from The Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel and Spa. The moment you step foot on the resort, you’ve entered into a tropical oasis ready to unwind and relax. Friendly, experienced, and full-service concierge staff will be readily available to greet you and assist you during your stay. The second floor has everything you will need while on vacation, including the chic hotel boutique, 6,000-square-foot White Orchid Vero Beach Spa, multiple restaurants, and a tropical outdoor oasis.
Down by the water, you can enjoy the paddle boards and kayak rentals available to all hotel guests. For the adventurous traveler, just off the shoreline is a must-see snorkeling experience: the SS Breconshire Shipwreck, a 300-foot-long ship that sank in 1894. At low tide, a sharp eye can still see the bow of the ship peeking out from below the surf.
For your vacation pleasure, you can relax pool side during the day or get cozy beside one of three oceanfront fire pits at night. Two incredible restaurants are located conveniently at the resort, providing one-of-a-kind dining experi ences. The oceanside Florida classic restaurant, Heaton's, is open to the public and offers an ar ray of mouth-watering seafood options that are sure to impress. The newly-updated oceanside restaurant, Cobalt, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The chef’s menu offers local ingredi ents exclusive to the Treasure Coast and is also open to the public.
There are 111 luxury rooms at Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa, 70 percent of which are suites that are sure to suit families and hon eymooners alike. The suites range from 500 to 1500 square feet of luxury space and are pet-friendly; convenient for those that want to stroll Ocean Drive and enjoy the Central Beach area with their canine companion. The en try-level king suite comes with your own per sonal balcony, separate living room, and lavish bath amenities. The 4th floor is the highest level of the building, which gives the resort a much more intimate feel. While vacationing at Kimp ton, you will have the opportunity to have that peace and quiet you so desire or perhaps inter act with some new friends at neighboring local hotspots.
With top-tier service and spacious accommoda tions, we are certain you will enjoy your experi ence at the Kimpton Vero Beach Resort & Spa.

Big fluffy pillows make our beds look dreamy from an interior design perspec tive. The problem is they do little to noth ing to help our bodies get stability, support, and relief during sleep. Over time, sleep deficits can build up and take a toll on our health and wellness.
According to the CDC, over a third of US adults fail to get 7+ hours of sleep each night. Insufficient sleep increases the likelihood of heart disease, stroke, weight gain, depression, and other illnesses. Whilevarious factors contribute to insufficient sleeping, pillows are a common complaint. Since we spend a third of our lives sleeping, pillows can help or get in the way of our beauty sleep. After a great night’s sleep, you’ve probably noticed your skin glows brighter and more radiant. After a bad night’s sleep, not so much.
First ask yourself: does my pillow compress too much or not enough? If you answer yes, either way, your pillow is causing your head to come out of horizontal alignment with the body. Misalignment can lead to inter rupted sleep and potentially substantial sleep deficits over time. To achieve the best sleep, you should be aligned horizontally with the mattress without having the head titled too much at an angle up, down, or to either side. For people managing through surgeries, injuries, pain, or other condi tions particularly around the head, neck, or shoulders, adequate support is critical to sleep and recovery.
Then ask: are the materials in my pillow synthetic? Many pillows are manufactured without regard to environmental and hu man health impacts. Foam, synthetic down, and polyester pillows not only tend to trap body heat and make us sleep hot but are also made from petroleum-derived plastics which can have negative environmental and health impacts during production, use, and disposal. Some manufacturers include additives in their formulations (e.g., formaldehydes, flame retardants) that can be harmful to our health. Memory foam prod ucts are known for emitting volatile organ ic compounds (VOCs). Studies have linked VOCs to a variety of respiratory health problems.
Pillows made with all-natural materials. We’ve all seen the images of used clothing and textiles clogging up landfills globally. Polyester alone can take up to 200 years to break down and doesn’t truly decom pose, adding to microplastics that make their way into our water. Efforts have been underway to promote the production, use,and reuse of natural and sustainable fibers. As consumers, we can make a difference by choosing all-natural options that won’t belost to landfills or incineration after use.
Pillows designed for sleeping. The purpose of a sleeping pillow is to alleviate tension while supporting our bodies, especially during back and side sleeping. A well-de signed pillow should minimize extreme bulges and dead spots of filling to promote consistent alignment throughout sleep. It should also promote airflow and not retain body heat and sweat. Because one size doesn’t fit all body types and conditions, pillow filling should be adjustable to suitindividual needs.
Regardless of type, fibers will wear and break down over time. Taking this and hy giene into account, you should replace your pillow every 1-2 years.

Tennis Clubs have grown in popularity over the years, especially in Florida as it's a year-round sport. CDM talks with members of the Jupiter Bay Tennis Club about the highlights of being part of the local tennis scene.
Jupiter Bay Tennis Club is a small private club with access to 7 tennis courts. Mike Massie, owner and tennis professional is known for his style of teach ing and positive reinforcement on the courts. "He makes us feel like rockstars", says Andrea Rosen berg who has been playing tennis in Palm Beach County for 13 years.
"Jupiter Bay is a high-energy club; this is our rep utation and our claim to fame. It seems that when you stay positive, keep the energy level high and positive - you will attract the same", explains Cyn thia Harkins, who is a club member and also works at Jupiter Bay.
There are all levels - people new to the sport who are just learning, people who grew up playing, all the way up to competitive tennis players who might have played college tennis or played at the profes sional level. The only qualifications that you need are the desire to play tennis, a healthy attitude and a willingness to be part of something great.
In the sunshine state, Tennis is a year-round sport. In the middle of winter when everywhere else is snowed out, this group of girls feels grateful to be playing in the sunshine. With competitive team tennis, the season is September-May.
"My time at the tennis club is not just about the tennis, it's a place to get together with friends. I have been with many of the same girls on my team for 7 years or longer. On match days, we put on our game faces and like to win. But win or lose, we shake it off, support each other, have lunch, laughs, and cocktails at lunch or later at happy hour. Most importantly, we cheer for each other on and off the court. I love how we all have different backgrounds, we're in different stages of life (some retired, some with young families), but we share this common love of tennis and from there some beautiful and meaningful friendships blossom", says Rosenberg.
"For me personally, outside of being part of the day-to-day operations, I can honestly say that my team is everything to me. The love, respect, and strength of these women is an outstanding bond that I will cherish forever. We have been together for 5 years. We have been through every scenario you can think of from celebrating our lives and families to supporting each other through the toughest obstacles in life", says Harkins.
CDM asks what you enjoy most about being a part of a tennis club?
"Tennis has impacted my life in so many positive ways other than a fun way to exercise. First of all, it's therapeutic to pound those yellow tennis balls, high-five, dance to great music, and laugh with friends on the court. It doesn't matter what's going on in your life, but we're all superstars at Jupiter Bay. The game of tennis has such a mental compo nent too", says Rosenberg.
"Tennis isn't just about the shots you hit, it's also about strategy, shot placement, communication with your partner, and mental toughness."
Tennis is a game changer...good for your physical health, mental health, and social life!

Gilly encourages everyone to get out, play, and get the full experience that tennis has to offer. He hopes you find these ideas motivating to your daily life:
1Before hitting your first higher intensity balls for the day, prioritize an easy, lowpace, consistent rally keep ing the ball in play all while slowly increasing lower spine activity. This applies to all ages and levels.
2Build your consistency in groups of 5 good repeti tions in a row. (Less luck<More skill)
3Learn how to play “Social” tennis aka cooperatively. As well as more “Competitive” style tennis, when shots be come more challenging.
4Play for the cardio rhythm, bring more than 12+ balls. Try to hit 25 or more shots over/across the net with a friend before a minute runs out.
5Expand your racket skills by playing Pickleball, Ping Pong and Tennis at any age or experience level player.
