Swan Lake-Iris Gardens is located at 822 West Liberty Street and is open from 7:30 a.m. to dusk every day except during the Iris Festival in May. Meeting St, Charleston SC

This monument commemorates the heroism of America’s first black military airmen, who enlisted during World War II. Before being sent into the action of war, these men received their final three months of training at the Walterboro Army Airfield. They learned to fly three types of aircraft that were used to escort larger planes into battle. During the war, 1,000 Tuskegee Airmen flew 1,578 missions. This monument celebrates the courage, bravery and dedication of the African-American men who fought during the war. 537 Aviation Way, Walterboro Airport

River Street is one of the most interesting areas in the Historic District. As you stroll along River Street, weave into its boutiques to do a little casual shopping. The area is also home to plenty of cafés and pubs. It’s a great place to stop for a sip and enjoy fantastic views over the Savannah River. Nearby Bay Street also has an excellent selection of bars & restaurants to choose from.

April 22 & April 23. Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort will host nearly 100,000 of its closest friends and neighbors at the upcoming MCAS Beaufort Airshow. WThe show will showcase aviation at its best with a demonstration by the United States Naval Flight Demonstration Team, the Blue Angels!
