From Driver’s Choice Magazine Welcome to the September/October issue of Driver’s Choice Magazine. The economy is still slowly on the upswing. Freight is picking up and so are the rates.

Companies are pulling those parked trucks from the fence, putting drivers into them, and putting miles on them.

This issue we will be starting to distribute in the GTA of Ontario. It has been on our minds for a while as so many businesses are merging lately. More and more companies now have offices spread all across Canada and drivers therefore we have to expand to serve their needs.

We had our 2nd annual Show and Shine in Saskatoon on July 24. The number of entries was disappointing but what we lacked in numbers we made up for in quality. Please flip through pages 15 to 18 for event pictures.

The week of Sept 5-12 is National Trucking Week. This is an annual; event to recognize the men and women who keep the freight moving.

We have another of our favorite activities coming up in September. I am talking about the World’s Largest Truck Convoy to raise money for the Special Olympics.

This year’s run is on Sept 25th. It starts in Saskatoon and ends in Regina.

Last but not least, come and visit our booth at TRUXPO 2010 on October 1st & 2nd. Venue remains the same as previous years i.e. Tradex Centre, Abbotsford.
