FACULTY AND STAFF

DR. STACY JONES
RICHARD “DELL” CANNON ‘05
With the online environment currently serving as an essential medium in education, Dr. Stacy Jones realized that picking up coding skills would alleviate instances in which he is left in limbo. Moreover, it would allow him to design and code resources tailored perfectly to the needs of his students. However, Jones didn’t believe in his chances of getting accepted into DS4A’s second cohort.
WILLIAM WADE, ED.S. ‘89
Chicago native William Wade, Ed.S., takes his place on the CCC campus as the newly appointed director of Educational Outreach.
Wade (’89) is delighted to be returning to the prosperous grounds where he served in the capacity of Student Government Association president. While his expertise took him to various states across the nation, many of his family members remain Mississippians, making the Magnolia State a second home for him and his siblings.
GREGORY NEELY JR. ‘02
DR. CHEQUITIA DIXON

Gregory Neely has returned to his old stomping ground, filling the position of evening activities coordinator.
A native of Jonestown, Mississippi, Neely grew an extensive background, working for 13 years in the school system as an educator, basketball coach, and bus driver.
GEOFFREY LATHAM
If you’re the type to spend your weekend discovering YouTube channels, you might stumble upon CCC art instructor Geoffrey Latham’s channel, Delta Moose. Latham effortlessly entertains viewers, subscribers, and fans of the Delta State University Marching Statesmen with humorous press box hijinks.
Dr. Chequitia Dixon, Practical Nursing program director, was recently named dean of the Division of Health Sciences.
Dixon, who joined the CCC ranks as a Practical Nursing instructor, has a nine-year tenure with CCC.
Dell Cannon will lead the men’s basketball program. Cannon, a Lyon, Mississippi, native and former Tiger, is a seasoned veteran of the hardwood, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Tigers.

Two outstanding CCC staff members, Lorean Willingham and Nekedra Blockett were selected to participate in the 2020-2021 Mississippi Community College Leadership Academy. The employees are enthused to have recently completed the one-year program that began in June 2020.
