NOVEC HELPS HOLDS 11TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

$37,000 raised for the community

NOVEC HELPS hosted 27 four-person teams of golfers on May 18 at its annual golf tournament at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket. Because of the players and generous sponsor donations, the event raised a record-breaking $37,000 to support NOVEC HELPS programs throughout the year. NOVEC HELPS contributes time and funding to a wide range of Northern Virginia charities.

Tournament winners were:

• First place: Mark Mills, Micky Martin, Charlie Grandfield, and Vinny Cipolla

• Second place: Don Goddard, Marcello Sandoval, Bob Tate, and Nate Garrison

• Third place: Erik Dahlseid, Keith Larson, Jeff Clayton, and Greg Gonzales

NOVEC HELPS, Hands Engaged in Local Public Service, is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization of NOVEC employees who volunteer their time to help others and engage other employees in community service projects. The NOVEC HELPS board of directors votes on programs and events to support, whether with financial donations or with feet on the ground.
