Syringa reticulata Japanese Tree Lilac This handsome small specimen tree or large shrub bears creamy white flowers in large panicles in June and July. Clumps will have three or more stems. 2002 Iowa Tree of the Year.

Silver Maple ( acer sacc) Very fast-growing. Leaves are green on top and silvery-white on the underside, shimmering and dancing in the breeze. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions. Because of a vigorous root system, plant 10' or more from sidewalks, drives, foundations, and sewer lines. Grows to 50' to 80'with spread 2/3 of height to wider than the tree is tall. (zones 3-9)

Burning Bush (Euonymous alatus) 12” Shrub native to central and northern China, Japan, and Korea. The common name "burning bush" comes from the bright red fall color. It is a popular ornamental plant in gardens and parks due to its bright pink or orange fruit and attractive fall color.
