Syringa reticulata Japanese Tree Lilac This handsome small specimen tree or large shrub bears creamy white flowers in large panicles in June and July. Clumps will have three or more stems. 2002 Iowa Tree of the Year.
Silver Maple ( acer sacc) Very fast-growing. Leaves are green on top and silvery-white on the underside, shimmering and dancing in the breeze. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions. Because of a vigorous root system, plant 10' or more from sidewalks, drives, foundations, and sewer lines. Grows to 50' to 80'with spread 2/3 of height to wider than the tree is tall. (zones 3-9)
Burning Bush (Euonymous alatus) 12” Shrub native to central and northern China, Japan, and Korea. The common name "burning bush" comes from the bright red fall color. It is a popular ornamental plant in gardens and parks due to its bright pink or orange fruit and attractive fall color.
Miss Canada Pink Lilac ( syringe, Miss Canada) This lilac is a wonderful specimen shrub that can grow into a small, spreading, tree-like shrub. It also takes well to pot culture. Anywhere you site them, the hummingbirds and butterflies will flock. Since lilacs are fire-retardant, the shrub is a good choice for planting near the home.
Syringa Patula) Miss Kim This hardy lilac from Korea has purple buds that open to single, fragrant, pale lilac flowers when other lilacs have finished. Also known as Syringa velutina, it has leaves larger than S. meyeri and S. microphylla and beautiful burgundy-red fall color.

McIntosh Apple ( Red McIntosh SM-7) or colloquially the Mac, is the national apple of Canada. The fruit has red and green skin, a tart flavor, and tender white flesh, which ripens in late September. In the 20th century it was the most popular cultivar in Eastern Canada and New England. It is considered an all-purpose apple, suitable both for cooking and eating raw.
The SnowSweet® Apple is sweet with a slight tart balance and rich overtones. As one of our taste testers described it, "This apple has substance. It's satisfying." Great taste is definitely the best feature of SnowSweet®.The second outstanding feature of SnowSweet® is its firm, snow white flesh. After being cut and exposed to air, a SnowSweet® Apple is slow to oxidize. You can slice samples ahead for display and offer eye appealing taste tests later. Consumers can prepare apples in advance for attractive snacks or salads. Yellow Transparent are medium-sized apples with smooth yellow skin. Inside, they have tender, juicy, finely-textured, firm white flesh which is aromatic. In the north the apples tend to ripen in the fall.
Malus Honeycrisp Flavor is sweet but well-balanced. Excellent storage life, up to 7 months. Has been rated equal to or higher in overall quality than 'Haralson', 'Honeygold' or 'Keepsake' in winter storage trials. Ripens in late September in Minnesota and stores like a late season variety. Has become an outstanding commercial and home orchard variety because of its explosive crispness, flavor and storage life.

Pembina Plum ( S-myro wht) is ovate and pointed, its flesh is yellow, juicy and sweet. Its skin is red with a bluish bloom, acidic and thick. It is a mid to large size plum and it has a good flavor. It is half-freestone, which facilitates a bit the preparation in cooking. 'Pembina' plum is a good choice for dessert, and it is fair for cooking and canning.
Prunus Moongold Moongold Apricot Light orange colored fruit with a slight red blush, Moongold has a sweet flavor that is slightly acidic. Fragrant white flowers bloom around the 3rd week of April, and the 1.75” freestone fruits that follow will hang on the tree until they ripen in late July. 'Sungold' is a recommended pollinator. Rainier Sweet Cherry—Rainiers are widely adaptable to a variety of soil types. Trees should be well spaced to provide maximum sun exposure for individual branches, ensuring fully developed, sweet, ripe fruit at harvest time. 'Rainiers' will produce fruit in 3 to 5 years, with a bloom period in early April. The creamy light yellow to medium yellow-orange fruit develops a red blush and is ready to harvest late-June through early-July. 'Rainier' cultivars require pollination.

Rubus Fallgold Raspberry Full of that juicy, fruity flavor we all adore, this modern take on the traditional raspberry is a proven winner in pies, muffins and tarts, as well as sauces, jams and jellies. Plus, thanks to its vigorous everbearing habit, it reliably delivers high yields of sunny yellow-gold berries from midsummer to early fall. Easy to maintain and extremely productive. This sale is operated on a first come-first serve basis
We are assured by the supplier that with the exception of the Bing Cherry and Golden Spice Pear , the trees and shrubs in the flier do not require pollinators
The Co-Op makes every effort to have all trees and shrubs in stock on the day of the sale, but we are subject to supplier cancelations
All trees and shrub varieties are hardy for zones 3 & 4.
