Highlights Inside this Issue... p 2 - Presidential Corner...

Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Program! Our Work Isn’t Done. As many already know, the Provincial Government had it’s first sitting of the Red Seal Exam for our industry earlier this year. We had members from all over Nova Scotia come to write in Halifax. Not only did our industry write the exam for the first time, they had a pass rate of over 95%, which apparently is outstanding!!!

p 2 - Winners of 2013 Award of Excellence

It proves that this industry is knowledgeable and should be very proud of it’s future. You should all be proud.

p 4 - Hats off to Down to Earth!

But our work isn’t done... We need to get Apprentices registered with the Government. We NEED to keep the momentum going!! The squeaky wheel gets the grease when it comes to the government. And we’ve already shown that we are serious with this initiative.
