The Government of Maharashtra has introduced the MukhyamantriYuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana(CMYKPY), an initiative designed to provide internship opportunities to unemployed youth of the state. This scheme aims to enhance the employability and skill set of young individuals, preparing them for a competitive job market and also driving economy.

Eligibility for Industries
Location Operating in Maharashtra
Type Private, Govt, Semi Govt, Cooperatives, NGO and Section 8 Companies,Startups
Operation Duration At least 3 years
Compliance Certi cate of Incorporation, GST, ESIC, Registered EPF and Industry Aadhaar
Workforce Employing at least 20 people
Internship Numbers 10% of employed workforce for manufacturing sector and 20% for services sector
Duration Internship can last for 6 Month, each student trainee can avail bene t only once.
Eligibility for students
Should be in the age group of 18 to 35.
Minimum Education Criteria: 12th Pass/ITI/Diploma/Graduation / Post Graduation.
Should be the resident of Maharashtra.
