Sr. Doris Smith

President

Dear Members of the Class of 1991: When you arrived at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, you came with hopes and fears, dreams and dreads. As you graduate, most of the fears have been banished and at least some of the dreams have come true.

We hope that you will take with you what we identify as the bases of a Mount Saint Vincent education: a strong liberal arts foundation, enlightened career preparation, a solid core of religious and ethical values. Further more, we hope that you will use your education to work toward the things which we identify as good: reasonable prosperity for the many, not the few; respect for life and a commitment to improving the quality of life; the selection of options which will make the world a better place for all of us. You go with our respect and affection, our prayers and good wishes for your happiness and success.

Sincerely,

Sister Doris Smith 4

I

Dear Class of 1991, <

May you go forth from CMSV eager to learn more, open to new people and experiences, and anxious to make our world a better place. Congratulations and good luck!! Sr. Donna Dodge

A yearbook is a jewelry box of memories. Each pho tograph, each face, is there to be lovingly examined years from today. Each memory is a sparkling moment in time, preserved here for the Class of 1991. As you become College of Mount Saint Vincent Alumnae/i keep us in your hearts. The life you lived here, the things you learned here and the friends you made here will stay with you for a lifetime. Your hard work, together with the College tradition, its faculty and staff made it ail possible. We hope to go on doing so throughout the next century. You are launched! Hold on to this little jewelry box. Its contents are ever so valuable and sure to increase with age. Jackie Benamati Dr. Jacqueline Benamad Dean of Students

Some people are fortunate enough to meet someone special in their lives who, even though they each may follow their separate ways, continue to share a lasting friendship. The special times spent together, the people and places shared, are memories both will always have . . . They are the people remembered always, who live in our heart no matter what... always just another thought or phone call away, even if the years have come between. This is for you my special friends given with a special kind of love . . . Thank you for all the times in my life you were such a vital part of, and for being the unique essence of our lasting friendship! C. Charles

The Parapet ’91 editors and staff would like to thank the person who made this yearbook possible — Erika Frazier, Editor-in-Chief. She brought her dedication, patience, expertise and humor to all yearbook meetings. She always gave that extra push or the pat on the back and words of praise which were all needed in the production of this book. Erika, O Holy Editor — we salute you. Thanks for all of the laughs and good times amidst the hard work.
