Senior Bishop Lawrence L. Reddick, 111, Chair of the College of Bishops, Bishop James B. Walker; members of the College of Bishops and your spouses, General and Connectional Officers, members of the Judicial Council, heads of our educational institutions, General Conference delegates, alternates and attendees to this the Thirty-Ninth Quadrennial session of the Fortieth General Conference of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, I greet you in the life-giving and ever reigning Lord, Jesus the Christ.

I am thankful and exciting to present my first report on behalf of the sensational and scintillating people of the Sixth Episcopal District, I am deeply honored and grateful to have this privileged granted me the CME Church. I am acutely aware that I have entered the labors of stellar episcopal leaders who have, in my living memory, proceeded me in this work, namely, Bishops Peter Randolph Shy, Joseph Carlyle Coles, Jr., Othal Hawthorne Lakey and Kenneth Wayne Carter. Their histories and legacies in the Sixth Episcopal District have bequeathed me with a magnificent work and firm pillars upon which to continue to build.

Furthermore, I am indebted to the faithful clergy and laity whose love for Christ and His Church is more than obvious given their enduring commitment and sacrifices on behalf of the mission and vision of the CME Church in Georgia.

First, I thank God for the Fifty years of partnership that Dr. Louise Baker Brown has graciously and sacrificially shared with me in this call and cause for Christ within the CME Church. July 2022 will mark a milestone of fifty years for us in marriage.
