Valentino Cuoghi and Romano Marangoni founded CMC in 1961.
Sixty years have passed since that January 1961.
Today Vanni and Marco, the sons of Valentino and Romano respectively, lead the company with a strong focus on innovation.
Over the years CMC has become synonymous with elegance, sophistication, solidity and uniqueness. It has won the trust of foreign markets, initially France, then Norway, Sweden, England, Switzerland and Germany. A booming growth. The enhancement of craftsmanship is the strength of CMC.
The choice to limit the number of vehicles
made per year allows us to pay obsessive attention to each detail. Each stage is designed and performed with care for the smallest detail and directly controlled by the owners, without compromises in terms of quality.
In addition to creating synergies with research centres and universities for new materials, in recent years CMC has dedicated significant investments to the production department, with the acquisition of new machinery and the adoption of innovations in the processes and in the design department, through the creation of a development team composed of technical and artistic designers, skilled in creating exceptional solutions from a technical and architectural point of view.

The interiors are characterized by fine finishings and a sophisticated design, where the wood warm tones and the fine furnishings create a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The modern and functional kitchen is equipped with a large marble worktop, which gives luxury and brightness.

We have intentionally chosen to limit the number of Trailer Homes created every year in order to commit all possible attention to each of them.
A CMC Caravan is equipped with lateral slideouts that allow the internal space to double or triple the width of the closed vehicle, offering an area of up to a maximum of 110 square meters.
The heated veranda can be an additional room to further expand the kitchen area and enjoy a pleasant drink with friends.

We aim at significantly improving the quality of life of our clients. To reach this goal we leave
no stone unturned: our team is constantly on the lookout for cutting edge solutions and for stimulating partnership with technicians, research centres and new suppliers.

Built to last.
At the base of our Living Trailers, an approved CMC SNC semi-trailer with two or three BPW axles, with air suspension and 2 hydraulic parking pistons. Fully inspectable hydraulic system and stainless steel doors on both sides.
The structure, made of 5 cm galvanized steel tubing and 430 stainless steel corners and fairing, proves an incomparable solidity. Totally silent walking, devoid of oscillations.
All our welders are certified according to EN ISO 9606.1:135. Quality Management System certified by FAKT Certification Services according to KBA standards.
Technology
We devote the utmost attention to each phase.

The thermal insulation that coats all surfaces of the Trailer, floor, walls and roof, guarantees the maintenance of an ideal internal temperature, without air infiltration. The heating system, completely covering the walkable surface, prevents cold areas. The technological choices are guided by the goal of maximizing well-being in all seasons and avoiding some limiting characteristics, typical of metal structures, as much as possible, to the point of making you forget you are living on a Trailer.
The green orientation is well consolidated and allows the vehicle to be lived with energy independence even in the most extreme conditions.
The rounding of the doors located above the gooseneck constitutes a functional element of extraordinary importance. It has definitely become C.M.C.’s iconic stylistic signature and it contains the Motorhome’s entire electrical and technical compartment, serving the inverter and photovoltaic system.
