Message from the Head of School

Many of you remember how difficult it was when Saint Columbkille High School closed its doors in 1992. The recently announced closures of Saint Joseph Prep and Mount Alvernia High School make all of us pause, just as we did in 1992, because we understand the value of a Catholic education. Catholic education helps to form the whole child, academically, socially, emotionally, and morally, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve our families.

Because of your generous support, the important work we do continues. Each day, our teachers help our students lead lives of faith, leadership, and service. Many of you have shared that Saint Columbkille did the same for you, and we see that every time we are able to gather. I do hope you will join us on June 3, 2023 as we bring back Come Home to Columb, our annual alumni event. I look forward to honoring Kelly McGrath ‘89 and the Class of ‘73, and I look forward to honoring all of you.

In gratitude,
