FRANK HORVAT’S MUSIC FOR SELF-ISOLATION: A DOCUMENTARY HIGHLIGHTED IN GRAMOPHONE The UK’s Gramaphone’s website features an article on the release of the documentary

The documentary focuses on insights from the album’s performers of their emotional journey during the obligation to self-isolate from others, while still making music. In BC, as part of our attempt to find a path forward, we are trying with limited resources to Indigenize and Decolonize our work, partnering with extraordinary Indigenous writers, creators, and performers like Dylan Robinson and Marion Newman.

We seek to build bridges, engage in new relationships, and learn about new music’s role in a history of cultural appropriation and annihilation. We are working to share our platform, showcasing the work of Indigenous and racialized creators and performers and that of sexual minorities. And we are diversifying our Advisory Council and
