‘THEY HAVE MADE THEIR WAY BY THE WAY THEY’RE MADE’
MARCH 18TH | 2PM | AT THE RANCH | BRAGG CREEK, AB
Our family would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved for the last twenty years–buyers, sales staff, clipping crews, photographers, friends and family; without all of these important people we would not be having our twentieth sale. We wish to invite you all to attend this milestone on Saturday, March 18th at the ranch in Bragg Creek.
We have chosen to do things slightly different this year. We took advantage of the weather on a beautiful January day to picture and video. Therefore, our videos are a month ahead of normal, so we would like to invite you to come ahead to see the bulls at SSS and the heifers at the homeplace. The bulls will be brought to Bragg Creek on March 16th. We are very proud of this collection of cattle that we are presenting to you for our 20th Anniversary sale.
This year, we would like to introduce you to the Highland salestaff , Kiley Mckenna and Wiley Fanta, of MC Marketing, and would encourage anyone to reach out to either Rob, Amanda, Cassidy, Kiley or Wiley for any questions.
Thank you to Dave, Mary Beth, Dylan, Karissa, Laina & Hayes Sibbald for their excellent care of the bulls, this was the third year in a row that we’ve wintered the bulls with them. We are grateful for the time and effort they put into the care of the bulls.
We would also like recognize another person who has been extremely important to us, Jordie Buba– she is a long time friend and incredible cattlewomen. For the past five years Jordie has pictured sale cattle as well as our cow herd, her ability behind the camera is unmatched. To recognize Jordie and her partner Luke beyond the picture pen, for the show preparation of Hope and Miss Hope– we are grateful for all their dedication.
I would like to take the time to acknowledge a friend and sales manager, Keith Kissee of KK Seedstock. Keith passed away unexpectedly in September, he had visited us a mere ten days prior. Keith was an incredible marketer of Limousin cattle, and later in his career, Red Angus and Speckle Park. We are grateful to have had his friendship and have had him as a sales consultant for many of our past sales.
We are committed to bringing you homozygous genetics and productive cattle, and look forward to hosting you in Bragg Creek or virtually with DLMS.
Sincerely,
Amanda MatthewsSALE DAY SCHEDULE

If you are unable to attend the sale, please contact Rob or Amanda. We would be glad to discuss the bulls and your needs to find you a bull or bulls that fit your program. If we deliver a bull that you do not like, you do not own him.
We can keep bulls until delivery. We would like all bulls picked up or delivered by May 1 unless previous arrangements have been made. These bulls must be insured. Pick-up on sale day would be greatly appreciated.

All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. Highland Stock Farms assumes no liability for accidents, theft, injury, disease, or damages occuring at the sale site.
We at Highland believe that the homozygous polled trait is the most important thing we can pass on to commercial cattlemen. If you use a homozygous polled bull, you will not have to deal with horns. We do not use the term double polled as all it means is that the parents are polled and the offspring have not been tested or they did not pass the homozygous test. We have only used homozygous bulls for several years and our goal is to have a homozygous polled herd of which we will be very close, as we only have one cow in our herd that is not homozygous polled and she is 11 years old.
