2026 - 2027 A Culture of Giving
Dear Brookstone Friends, It is an honor to serve as this year’s chairs of the Brookstone Annual Fund. As parents with children spanning Lower to Upper School, we see firsthand, almost daily, what makes this school special. Some of our favorite moments happen right in the carpool line, hearing about the day: what they had in the cafeteria, something new they learned in class, who they sat with at lunch. From the earliest years through graduation, Brookstone’s commitment to academic excellence, character, and purpose is something we do not take for granted. We believe deeply in this mission, and we know it is the generosity of this community that makes it possible. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Brookstone education. The Annual Fund covers the rest, supporting the teachers, programs, athletics, and arts that let our students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

We are off to a strong start, and the campaign has just begun. With almost 800 students at Brookstone, every family’s gift genuinely moves the needle. This is not about a handful of large gifts carrying the campaign. No single gift has to carry this. Small gifts from all of us add up fast, and full participation matters just as much as the total. We encourage you to make your best gift to this year’s campaign. Whether you are a parent, alumnus, grandparent, faculty member, or friend of the school, we hope you will join us and add your gift to what is already underway. Thank you for considering your best gift to this year’s Brookstone Annual Fund. We are grateful to stand alongside you in support of this extraordinary school community. With gratitude, Your 2026-2027 Brookstone Fund Co-chairs

ne of the greatest testaments to the value of a Brookstone education is when a family chooses to be all in. For the Suragh family, Brookstone has been much more than the school their four sons attend. Through the years, they have experienced Brookstone as parents, faculty members, coaches and, most recently, parents of an alumnus. “Brookstone has become a second home to our family,” the Suraghs shared. “Over the years, we have spent so many hours on campus as faculty members, coaching, at school events and, most importantly, as parents.” After recently watching their oldest son graduate, the Suraghs now have three sons continuing to walk the same halls and experience many of the same Brookstone traditions, each creating a story of his own. Along the way, their family has built lasting relationships and memories within the Brookstone community. That deep connection is also why supporting the Brookstone Annual Fund is important to their family. As Brookstone’s top fundraising priority each year, the Annual Fund supports the people, programs, and experiences that make a Brookstone education exceptional. We invite you to join the Suraghs in going all in for Brookstone and investing in the experience of every student.
Supporting the Brookstone Annual Fund is important to us. We believe the right educational opportunity can shape not only a student’s future, but an entire family’s journey. Denetta and Elton Suragh P’26, P‘27, P’29, P’31
