Welcometo2023,andtoallourmembers,families andfriendswewishyouahappyandhealthy2023! Weareexcitedabouttheyearaheadandwe'vegota bunchofgreateventsandentertainment,featuredin thismagazine,overthenextfewmonthsforyouall toenjoy.
Theoverallaimoftheboardandmanagement continuestobethefinancialsecurityofyourclubfor theforeseeablefuture.Lookingbackoverthelast yearwehavecontinuedtoinvestinupgrading membersfacilitieswhichincludestherecentfacelift totheThurlow&LittletonStreetsfacades.The additionofTheCanopyAlfrescoareatogetherwith therefurbishmentofthemainloungebarandalso themid-yearopeningofTheBunkerSportsand RacingBarhaveprovidedmembersandguestswitha newlevelofcomfortandenvironmenttoenjoy.The BoardandManagementarecommittedtothevery bestinofferingsandwillcontinuetoworktowards improvingfacilitiesforourmembersandguests throughout2023.
Onanotherpositivenote,itiswithgreatpridethat Ipresentourfinancialaccountsfor2022.Theresults areexceedinglypleasing.Thisyearweachieveda recordprofitbeforetaxof*$6,667,968.60withan EBITDAof*33.52%(*preauditfigures).
Onthecommunityfront,in2022ourclubcontinued itsteadfastsupporttothelocalandgreater communitiesthroughClubGrantsand CRCommuniTEAMprograms.
IampleasedtoreportthatourClubGrants donationsandsupporttolocalcharitiesand sportinggroupswasjustover$400,000.
