From our President... As 2021 draws to a close, on behalf of the team at Club Rivers I would like to extend our warm wishes to you and your loved ones for the upcoming Fesve holiday season. 2021 has been a challenging year for all of us. We would especially like to thank our Members for their understanding, paence and support throughout the year. This community spirit emphasises the qualies of our Club and we look forward with confidence to the coming year ahead. Many of you will have already noced the amazing transformaon of the new Club facade on Thurlow St coming to life. This will be followed by an upgrade to the facade on Lileton St early in the new year.
This year, things have been tougher than ever for families in our local community. Christmas can be a difficult me for many people, both financially and emoonally and we are again calling on your support of our Christmas Food and Toy appeal. Your donaon can help those experiencing hardship and isolaon or families struggling to keep food on the table this Christmas. With your support this fesve season, we can help make the end of 2021 a lile less tough. Details on how you can help are available inside this booklet. On behalf of the Board of Directors and Team at Club Rivers we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a safe & prosperous New Year.
As we approach 2022 rest assured we will posively manage through today’s uncertain environment just as we have navigated through challenging moments in the past. Club Rivers will come out of it stronger and our long term commitment to delivering quality services to our members and supporng the community is unwavering.
