REEFY: AQUATIC BIODIVERSITY AND ECO-ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS
In collaboration with Reefy, whose mission is to improve the environmental impact of coastal infrastructure, a comprehensive assessment of the area's aquatic biodiversity was conducted in 2024. This included advanced techniques such as environmental DNA (eDNA) analysis and eco-engineering evaluations to develop sustainable solutions. In 2024, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting El Surgidero Beach by supporting with signage, key maintenance tools, and efforts to uphold excellence through Blue Flag certification.

THE SEA TURTLE CONSERVATION
A collaborative effort to release turtles with the community, providing children an opportunity to learn about the process and the importance of nature conservation.
PROTECTING LIVESTOCK AND DRIVERS, ONE COLLAR AT A TIME
In 2024, to reduce road accidents involving livestock, we launched the "Reflective Collars" pilot program. This initiative marks the start of a larger effort, distributing 850 reflective collars for local bovine livestock to alert drivers of animals on the roads and enhance road safety.

AIR CONDITIONING INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
During the summer, air conditioning units were installed and maintained across the community, including schools and public facilities such as DIF.
ACCESS TO LA RIBERA TACTICAL URBANISM
Special road markings were implemented at the town's entrance to enhance traffic flow, improve road safety, and promote organized urban development.
SANTA CRUZ COMMUNITY COURT REHABILITATION:
This project included structural, electrical, plumbing, and welding improvements, leaving the park with a polished, functional space for community events.
LA RIBERA PUBLIC LIBRARY REHABILITATION
The enhancements encompassed electrical systems, flooring, windows, carpentry, plumbing, and ironwork to ensure safe, functional facilities. Additionally, 10 all-in-one computers, new furniture, and bookshelves were installed.
DINING ROOM AT CADUAÑO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Through public and private collaboration, a dining space was equipped to provide children with hot meals. The project included proper facilities, furniture, air conditioning, water systems, electricity, and carpentry..
LA RIBERA KINDERGARTEN
MURALS: School facilities were enhanced with vibrant, colorful murals, creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for young learners.
SPORTS SPONSORSHIPS: Local sports programs were supported by providing uniforms for children, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and community engagement.
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

IN-KIND DONATIONS
Donations of school supplies, clothing, and basic necessities were provided to support the community and address essential needs.
EMERGENCY RELIEF - SANTIAGO CLEANING "THE PALM GROVE": Restoration efforts focused on cleaning and revitalizing the area, significantly reducing fire risks and improving safety for the Santiago community.
HEALTH CARE: Maintenance and improvements at La Ribera Public Health Center ensured better service quality for the community. Additional support was provided to East Cape Health Center, offering an alternative for medical services to address community healthcare needs.

ENVIRONMENT GUARDIANS PROGRAM: This program offers environmental educational sessions tailored for 3rd and 4th-grade elementary students, complementing their regular curriculum.
Students learn about local ecosystems, including vegetation, the ocean, and endemic flora and fauna, along with ways to protect them. Key topics also include recycling, sustainability, and fostering environmental responsibility.
ENGLISH CLASSES:
English classes were introduced for high school students and the broader community, offering accessible opportunities for skill development and language practice.

THE LIGHTING OF LA RIBERA'S CHRISTMAS TREE: tradition that marks the start of the holiday season. The event features, food, hot chocolate, and other activities to spread joy and holiday cheer throughout the town.
DÍA DE REYES FESTIVITY: Toys were distributed to children in need, spreading joy and hope during the holiday season.
VOLUNTEERING

CARE BOXES: Through corporate volunteer efforts, essential care packages were delivered to the community, including boxes for elders, babies, and hygiene kits.
THE COLOR OF KINDNESS: Volunteers brightened up community spaces by transforming them with vibrant paint, creating environments for all.
INSPIRE TO EMPOWER: Career days were organized to engage with students from kindergarten to high school, where volunteers shared their knowledge and skills, inspiring the next generation.
