“Made in Clovis” Returns to ClovisFest

TheMade In Clovis section of ClovisFest (on Pollasky between 7th & 8th streets) is back for its 3rd year. Made In Clovis is a showcase and celebration for those who have succeeded in building a better mousetrap, or perhaps created something to solve a problem that we didn’t know existed, and everything in between. Participants will be featured in a special section of ClovisFest in Old Town Clovis on September 23 & 24, 2023.

Tech wizards, crafters, tinkerers, food artisans, hobbyists, engineers, artists, students, and commercial organizations are some of the participants that will be on hand to show off their items, inventions, or ideas in the categories of

technology, food, crafts, and more.

“Being a part of ClovisFest last year was an incredible experience. We were able to get out in the community with our products and share our story. We met many amazing people and were approached for more opportunities within the community. This event helped take our business to new heights. We are looking forward to being a part of this event for many years to come!” Amy Mathers, owner of DreamServ, a local family business.

“I’m extremely excited to be a part of this big event! It’ll be my first time attending a show of this size and I can’t wait! I feel beyond blessed to be showcasing my items and creating new friendships

while there.” Cassie Gray from Threads of Gray, new approved Made In Clovis Vendor.

Don’t forget to check out the Children’s Business Fair Fresno/Clovis in the Made In Clovis section which will feature children 6-17 years old who will be out to present their special entrepreneurial talents. Over 80 of our local young entrepreneurs will take over the streets and show off their ideas, creativity, and talent. For more information, please visit http://www.cvye.org or email cbffresnoclovis@gmail.com.

“Made In Clovis is a great opportunity for up-and-coming entrepreneurs to sell their products, interact with the public and gain valuable feedback that will help

them succeed. Participants from the past two years have gone on to great success that was ignited by participating in the Made In Clovis event. We are excited to see what this year’s participants will showcase. There is always something unexpected and amazing. We encourage our community to come out and support these young and young-at-heart entrepreneurs at ClovisFest. As Shark Tank top shark, Mark Cuban said, It’s not in the dreaming, it’s in the doing.” said Shawn Miller, City of Clovis Business Development Manager.

Made In Clovis is sponsored by the City of Clovis and organized by the Clovis Chamber of Commerce.

Hello Clovis & beyond! I’m Kennedy & I’m on a mission to live a less trashy lifestyle. One day I decided to pack my bags & travel the world! I ended up in many third world countries & discovered the horrors of the Global Waste Trade Agreement. America being the top contender of dumping our trash on other lands leading to major pollution. When I returned home I started using more sustainable, non toxic products. After living that way for 2 years, I wanted to teach others how to do so too. That’s where Love of Earth Co. was born! Can’t wait to meet you guys at ClovisFest!

Rock Bee Crystals is Latina owned and has been in business since 2021 after my brothers passing. Along with volunteering as Fresno’s AFSP committee I wanted to give back and raise awareness for mental health and created a candle named “Stay”, 20% of our “Stay” candle is donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. We offer natural soy and coco hemp soy candles with gemstones for added beauty. If you’re looking for candles, artisan soap, gemstone jewelry or crystals to add to your collection we have a wide range of products available. You can find us at Clovisfest in front of Roll me some ice cream on the corner of Pollasky and Bullard. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram & TikTok @rockbeecrystals
