Cloud Productions’ 38th annual Springtime in Ohio is here! Join us on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd, as we take over the Hancock County Fairgrounds. As always, we will feature crafters, artists, and vintage creators of distinction from over seven states.
Spring has arrived, and it is the perfect time to shop for summer accessories. You can find items to dress up your front porch, kitchen, or backyard for bonfires with family and friends. We have it all, including wreaths to welcome guests to your front door and fire rings or pokers for summer night gatherings in the backyard. We also love the unique yard art that is sure to make anyone smile when they visit your home. Perhaps you would enjoy items for self-care, such as a fragrant candle or a soothing lotion. Whatever puts you in the mood for spring, we are sure to have it. Be sure to mark your calendars to come out and shop. We are hosting hundreds of crafters who will surely meet your needs.
Before you start shopping, head over to Esther’s Wheel of Fun in Building I to register for giveaways every 30 minutes. If you picked up a tear-off flier from one of our many participating exhibitors in and around Hancock County, bring it for a free spin on Esther’s Wheel or the Daisy Plinko Drop. You can also donate one dollar to the Hancock County Explorers for a chance to spin.
All vendors who have a business card advertisement in the Show News “Daisy Guide” are participating in a special contest for shoppers who visit their booths. You can order your favorite fair food ranging from corn dogs, veggies, burgers, and fries to popcorn, the best iced tea, ice cream roll-ups and lemon shakeups. We also have the best smoked meat, BBQ, gyros, and subs. You can even enjoy Mexican street corn, Mediterranean dishes, Hungarian pierogis, and of course, BeTran Eggrolls!
For the children Princesses will be at the show on Saturday from 10:30 AM until 2:30 PM. There will be chainsaw carving on both Saturday and Sunday, which is always fun to watch as a masterpiece comes together! The Trombone Guy will be playing at the gazebo in the mini park, the Two of Us will be playing in building J on both Saturday and Sunday, and the Romick Parkway Train will be cruising around with the kids all weekend. Our local Millstream Woodcarvers will be demonstrating in building B all weekend, too!
Show hours are Saturday, May 2nd from 10 AM to 5 PM, with early bird hours from 8 AM to 10 AM. Sunday, May 3rd hours are 11 AM to 4 PM. General admission tickets are six dollars. Early bird tickets must be purchased online for eight dollars per ticket. Early bird attendees can only enter off of Fishlock Avenue watch for signs! General admission can be purchased online or with cash at the gate. If you shop on Saturday and want to come back on Sunday, be sure to stop at the gate and ask for a handstamp to re-enter. Sparks Fly with Ray & Hope
Native Pathways Nursery began with a purpose: in 2025, Stevie Carroll saw how few native plants were available in Northwest Ohio and felt called to help restore what local pollinators were losing. With butterflies, bees, moths, and birds declining so quickly, she set out to grow the native flowers, trees, and shrubs that provide the host plants, food sources, and shelter these species depend on. Every plant she grows is a small but meaningful step toward rebuilding healthier habitats one yard, one garden, one community at a time.
Stevie balances this mission with a full-time job, tending to her plants before work, after work, and on weekends. What began as a hobby has become a joyful passion, filling her spare time with purpose and the simple satisfaction of watching something thrive. Friends and family have helped along the way, but her husband remains her biggest supporter, cheering her on as she nurtures both plants and pollinators.

Ray of Hope Creative Metal Art began with a simple Christmas gift idea for Owen’s community-college art-welding class. Ray’s wife, Hope, asked him to create a piece of garden art from scrap metal an experiment that quickly grew into something much bigger. Her love for her garden sparked the very first design, and that spark soon ignited a thriving creative venture.
What started as a personal project evolved into a shared passion. Ray and Hope now create side by side, blending their ideas, shaping metal together, and bringing new concepts to life with every torch-lit session. They find joy not only in the art itself, but in sharing their work and connecting with people wherever they go. The story of American Homestead Mercantile is one of local craftsmanship and community spirit in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Owned and operated by Dwayne Schock, the mercantile is a beloved fixture known for its whimsical approach to small-town business and a curated selection of handcrafted goods.

Nicholas and Cecilia Biller bring a rich collection of handcrafted work to their display, showcasing turned bowls, secret-compartment books, puzzle dice, book-page holders, bourbon shot glasses burnt on the inside to enhance flavor, tool boxes with old-time drills for handles, and many other inventive pieces. Every item is made by Nicholas, whose lifelong connection to woodworking continues to shape his craft.
Nicholas’s love for creating began in childhood, watching his father make woodworking projects and absorbing the quiet rhythm of handmade work. In 1989, he began carving out his own path, starting in a small back room of his home before eventually expanding into a full woodworking setup in his three-car garage. Over the years, he has gathered wood from cut-down trees, generous neighbors, and friends. When someone gives him wood, he often returns the kindness by crafting a bowl as a thank-you. His ideas come from magazines, the internet, and everyday observation, fueling a hobby that has grown into a full-time passion in his retirement years.
While Nicholas is the hands behind every piece, Cecilia is the steady partner who helps bring his work to the world. She encourages his creativity, organizes their displays, and enjoys connecting with visitors at craft shows. Together, they’ve built not only a diverse collection of handcrafted items, but a welcoming presence, one shaped by tradition, teamwork, and the joy of meeting new friends along the way. Dreaming in Yarn and Color
Amalia Smith, the young creator behind Molly’s Masterpieces, discovered her love for crochet at just nine years old. After learning the basics from a family friend, she spotted a crocheted octopus at a play practice and decided to try making one herself. While her sister moved on, Amalia kept going and quickly realized she had found something she truly loved.
Today, Amalia brings an entire menagerie of crocheted plushie animals to life, including chickens, octopuses, Pooh Bear characters, mallard ducks, bees, turtles, teddy bears, and more. She gathers inspiration from online patterns and from her family, who are always suggesting new creatures for her to create.
Though school is still her full-time job, Amalia crochets whenever she gets the chance. She hopes to keep exploring new patterns and techniques and dreams that one day her yarn creations might become her full-time work. Giving Back to the Community by way of Esther’s Wheel and Enter-to-Win
Every year Cloud Productions supports the local communities where the shows are by giving back. At all Cloud Production shows, special causes are chosen to receive the monitary donations recieved from the Esther’s Wheel and the Plinko - Drop. Some of the benefactors have been the Little Train on CR 99, Food Banks, Art Scholarships at FHS, Habitat for Humanity, Cattlemen’s Association in Memory of Dean Mengert and Toys for Tots.
This 2026 Springtime in Ohio is an opportunity to again support the Hancock County Sheriff’s Explorers, which is a program offered to those interested in the Sheriff’s Department, who are between ages 14 & 20, that want to gain a personal awareness of the criminal justice system through training, practical experience, competition and other activities. The Hancock County Explorers would benefit from this donation by going towards their projects & uniforms. Their volunteer youth group is growing with many young people wanting to learn and be a part of this program.

MY FAMILY STORY
Life Changes, But Memories Remain: A 2025 Reflection They say life changes, but memories never leave our hearts. Looking back on 2025, I’ve found myself deeply missing my mom, Lainey, and my Dad—craving their advice and the spark of their ideas. I miss Dean more than ever as I navigate changes at his “home away from home,” the Hancock County Fairgrounds, often wondering what he would think of it all.
Despite the holes they left behind, I am constantly reminded that my life is a blessing. My family and friends are my world, and I’m so grateful for the health and energy to keep up with my kids and grandkids as they grow.
Mac, Jillian, and the Boys Mac and Jillian have had a wonderful year. Their love for Disney (especially the cruises!) is still going strong, and I’m always happy to play “furgrandma” to their pup while they’re off on adventures. Jillian is even dabbling in being a Disney travel agent now—so if you’re planning a magical getaway, let me know and I’ll put you in touch! Living just an hour away from Edison and Harrison has been such a gift. I’ve loved our FaceTime calls, celebrating holidays, and “Mama time” spent doing crafts. Mac had another great season refereeing football; it was a thrill to spot him on TV! The family is preparing for a new adventure and moving out of state this year. While I’m
sad to see them move further away, I’m already looking forward to the new adventures I’ll have visiting them once they’re settled Dani, Cliff, the Teens plus one almost 11! Dani and Cliff are as busy as ever, and it’s a “wow” moment every time I look at my granddaughters—they are growing up way too fast. Many of you remember Madi and Kenzi helping at our craft shows since they were just two and three years old. Now, they are starting to drive and heading to prom, yet they remain razorfocused on high school and travel softball. The talent they have is just amazing: Kenzi is in her sophomore season and has already seen
18 home runs, while Madi, as a freshman, has reached 200 strikeouts! They are doing great in school, and when I visit them in Tennessee, we always make sure to balance their busy sports schedule with a little bit of shopping!
Little Max isn’t so little anymore; he is finishing 4th grade and staying active in soccer, baseball, and now football. These kids definitely have talent (and I know it didn’t come from me—lol!). I am so proud of everything Dani and Cliff juggle to make their family dreams come true. East Coast Memories
I spent the holidays out east with my sisters and their families. Between the nieces, nephews, and spouses, the house was filled with so much laughter. We finished settling my mom’s estate this year. I’ll truly miss her home, it was always my home base during visits but I am so thankful to my family for introducing me to new places, great food, and of course, more shopping. Change is constant, but I am heading into the next season with a full heart and a lot to be thankful for.

For Jennifer Rathbun, creativity has always been a constant. From sketching on scraps of cardboard as a child to making grave arrangements for loved ones, she has spent her life creating with her hands and her heart. Over time, she discovered something powerful: she could make almost anything she imagined, even if her mind often works much faster than her hands.
Jenny fell in love with taking older items and giving them a new life, transforming vintage and upcycled pieces into décor with character, warmth, and story. To her, it is not just crafting. It is creating new art from old memories, and every piece she makes carries a history all its own. She began doing craft shows and later sold in retail shops, but soon realized she missed what mattered most, the customers and the conversations and the familiar faces who returned year after year.
Today, Jenny continues to create with joy and intention, using different mediums and vintage finds to craft décor that feels personal and one of a kind. She still takes personal requests, still loves hearing the stories behind what people choose, and still finds her happiest place in the act of creating. Good for the Goose, Take a Gander
Leyna Richison is the owner and artist behind The Original Feathered Fran, where she hand-designs and handcrafts her signature “Porch Goose” magnetic dress-up sets. Inspired by the classic cement porch goose, she created a six-inch 2D magnetic version with a wide variety of seasonal, holiday, novelty, and personality-themed outfits. Her collection has grown to include additional characters such as T-Rex, Bigfoot, Flamingo, Snowman, and Frog along with playful decals that let customers show off their “silly” style.
The Original Feathered Fran, established in January 2025, was born from Leyna’s desire to bring joy and lightness into everyday life. Known for her artsy, slightly silly spirit, she designs each outfit around the colors, celebrations, and moods that shape the year. Her novelty looks range from avant-garde fashion to laugh-out-loud costumes, all created to remind people that even in stressful moments, it’s okay to smile. Her inspiration comes from her own challenging seasons and from seeing the happiness her creations brought to family and friends.
Leyna’s mission is simple: to spread happiness, spark laughter, and help families create fun memories throughout the year. Her magnetic sets invite people of all ages to decorate, celebrate, and enjoy a moment of pure silliness. Visit The Original Feathered Fran in Building B, Booth 5 at the show.
Vintage Beauty Lives Again
Dawn Quick of Donnibelle Studio began sewing at the age of five while watching her mother work. By the late 1980s they were creating sewn dolls and rustic ornaments for large festivals, and Dawn soon began designing her own patterns. Her work reached quilt shops nationwide and appeared at The International Quilt Market in Houston, along with three craft books featuring her angels, snowmen and dolls.
After years spent refining her sewing and applique skills in a bridal shop, Dawn eventually returned to the creative world she loved most. She developed a line of handsewn critters, especially her signature felt mice, ranging from nearly four inches tall to barely an inch. Each piece is made from fine wool blend and bamboo felt and is entirely hand cut and handsewn to preserve every tiny detail.
Inspiration for Donnibelle Studio comes from history, museums, nature and the vintage laces, fabrics and vessels she incorporates into her one-of-a-kind creations. Since retiring, designing and hunting for forgotten treasures has become her full-time work. Visitors can find Donnibelle Studio at the Springtime in Ohio Craft Show in Building I at Booth 16.
Bringing Bright Ideas to Life in 3D
Flux 3D Inventions is led by Mike Levy, whose curiosity about emerging technology sparked a deep interest in 3D printing. What began as a simple hobby quickly grew into a colorful creative venture filled with mini flexi toys, fidgets, gamer themed designs, home décor, and unique collectibles. Many of the pieces feature articulated or interactive elements that invite people to play, display, and collect.
As the hobby expanded, it naturally evolved into a small family run business based in Montpelier, Ohio. The process of preparing for shows, experimenting with new prints, and dreaming up fresh ideas became a meaningful way for the family to spend time together. A special part of that journey has been using the business as a way to bond with their adopted son, giving them shared projects that encourage learning, creativity, and teamwork.
Today, every item sold by Flux 3D Inventions is printed and prepared by the family. They enjoy discovering new designs, experimenting with bold colors, and bringing inventive pieces to each event they attend. Their booth is always filled with bright, imaginative creations that appeal to kids, gamers, collectors, and anyone who enjoys something a little different. Treats From BAM is a husband and wife owned freeze dried treat manufacturer based in Mount Blanchard, Ohio. Founded in 2020, the business has grown from a small idea at home into a rapidly expanding operation now carried in more than fifty retail locations throughout Western Ohio. As Northwest Ohio’s first freeze dried treat manufacturer, the team has built a reputation for transforming familiar favorites into something completely new.
Their process creates light, crunchy, intensely flavorful treats without adding any extra ingredients. Every batch is produced in their state licensed facility with a focus on consistency, quality, and offering something people genuinely enjoy. Dave Waskowski, owner of House of Pasta, Bread Bros Focaccia, and Tilly’s Tasty Treats, brings flavor and heart to every table. His Ohio-made pastas come in ten unique varieties and proudly carry the Ohio Proud certificate. Family-baked focaccia and non-sourdough breads complement his pasta lineup, while Tilly’s Tasty Treats crafted from natural, human-grade ingredients offer wholesome goodness for dogs of all sizes. Laurabelle Designs, created by artist Laura Briedis, transforms vintage dishes into stunning upcycled tiered displays. Each piece begins with carefully chosen plates and bowls, giving forgotten treasures a new purpose while preserving the charm and character that make vintage pieces so special.

MinusG: Living Without Compromise
Established in 2015, MinusG is a dream come true for Katherine Gardner, a 5th-generation baker. After being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2004, Katherine turned her lifelong love of baking into a mission: creating gluten-free mixes that never compromise on taste. What began as a personal search for delicious sweet and savory options has grown into a line of outrageously tasty, non-GMO, and plant-based mixes that allow everyone to enjoy their favorite meals again.
Katherine is dedicated to breaking the stereotype of gluten-free food, proving that it can be “surprisingly delicious” for everyone. You can find Katherine and her MinusG mixes in Building CD at Booth 13. Come say hello and discover how you can live and eat without compromise!
Baklava Layered With Love
Baba’s Best Baklava, owned by Susan Wilcox of Stow, Ohio, is rooted in a treasured family recipe that originated in a small village in Macedonia, the country where her grandmother lived. Susan’s grandmother, lovingly called her Baba, taught Susan’s mother how to make this traditional dessert while living with their family in the United States. Those lessons became a cherished part of their home and a meaningful link to their heritage.
Susan learned the recipe from her mother and continued making baklava over the years for friends and loved ones. Their encouragement eventually inspired her to begin selling it, and in May of 2024 she participated in her first art show to see how customers would respond. The warm reception and enthusiastic feedback confirmed that this family tradition had a place in the marketplace.
Now retired, Susan enjoys traveling to shows where she shares her baklava with new customers and reconnects with returning ones. The experience has brought her both joy and community, offering meaningful conversations with shoppers and fellow vendors. She often reflects on how proud her mother and Baba would be to see their recipe carried forward. Visitors can find Baba’s Best Baklava in Building I, Booth 12!

Softness, sweetness, and a whole lot of charm come through in every stitch Laura Julien creates. Through her business, Cozy Crochet, she brings to life plushies and soft animals with the cutest little faces the kind that comfort little ones, spark instant smiles, and make heartfelt gifts for anyone who loves something cuddly and handmade.
Her creativity stretches far beyond plushies. Laura crochets pillows that double as cozy home décor, adding warmth and personality to any room. Some pieces are seasonal, some are made to hang, and all of them carry her signature blend of cuteness and craftsmanship. She also makes a delightful mix of reusable water balloons, finger puppets, grocery bag keepers, wash cloths, and adorable placemats with unique designs, and practical pieces that still feel playful, soft, and handmade.

Lacy Gladish, in Building Fa Booth 23, is an Ohio based artist who is passionate about the ties between art and nature. Her artwork often uses bones, leaves, and “broken” items. She loves to get her hands dirty; whether it’s in paint, marker, pencil, clay, photography or dirt. An education graduate, she taught several years of HS English, and teaches some art classes at small boutiques.
She started Feathered Pen Studios back in 2011 and sells her art at small craft shows and conventions. In 2025 she welcomed a little girl, Chloe, into the world. Chloe’s room is decorated with mom’s murals and photography.
“Art is in every aspect of our lives. Appreciating the new creation of expression in nature and in the world around me is the goal in every piece I create. I love to create works in all forms of media; from acrylics to watercolor, photography and pencil, to clay and dirt. I use many objects around me as the base of my works, shoes, skateboards, broken instruments, bones, and fallen leaves. I breathe growth and new life into what is broken, bring out the beauty of the world around us, and highlight the little things we often miss.”

A Collection Inspired by Childhood, Created with Heart
Kate & Bud’s Closet began at Lynda Leciejewski’s kitchen table in 1989, where she hand painted machine washable clothing during nap times with her little ones, Kate and Bud. What started as personal pieces for her own kids soon grew into a cheerful collection for infants, toddlers, and tweens.
Her hand painted, customizable designs took her to shows across the country, built a loyal mail order following, and even inspired an infant couture line carried in boutiques nationwide. Lynda exhibited with Cloud Productions from 2003 to 2013, becoming a familiar favorite before stepping away, and we have missed her! Today, with fresh inspiration from her granddaughters, she continues the tradition with three generations of creativity behind it.
What she treasures most is the families who return year after year, including parents who once bought for their children and now shop for their grandchildren. Lynda shares, “I am so excited to return to Cloud Productions and to my family of friends who treasure this wonderful show. A Passion Reborn
Molly Axe is the artist, designer, and founder of MAXE Designs. She founded her business while finishing up her design and marketing degree many years ago. She was fully involved in her art business when she did her first show with Cloud Products back in 2009 for the fall show after leaving her corporate job.
She has participated in shows in IL, MI, OH, and NY. She was deeply involved in her art and design business until COVID hit, even opening a second studio in Chicago while maintaining one in West Michigan. Due to the changes the world was seeing, she returned to the corporate world to support her son as he finished school.
Even though she returned to the corporate world, she still found time to fit her passion and love for art in the mix during that time. She is happy to share that in January 2026, she left the corporate world again; her heart knew what she was supposed to be doing. She is so excited to join us and is bringing her colorful, story-telling creations to our Springtime in Ohio event! You can find this passionate and enthusiastic artist with her MAXE Designs in Building A at Booth 72.
Guess Who Rolled Back Into Town
Linda Renner has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember, exploring nearly every medium available to her over the years. After earning her art degree in 1981, she spent several years working as a graphic artist before discovering a new passion in 1989: creating with clay and dough. What began as experimentation soon grew into her full-time profession.
Most of her shows took place near her home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, though she also traveled throughout Michigan and Ohio. Looking back, she considers herself fortunate to have spent her life doing work she truly loved.
This year marks her first return to the show since 2003, and she is delighted to be back in the same building she once occupied for seven years! Visitors can find her in Building E, Booth 34, where the beloved Dough Folks make their long-awaited homecoming!

A Fond Farewell and Heartfelt Thanks
As I prepare to retire from Obsessed With Ribbon, I find myself reflecting on an incredible 35-year journey. It began at a craft show hosted by Judy Cloud of Cloud Productions, where her passion for makers lit a spark in me that grew into a lifelong love of crafting.
That same day, I met a wreath maker named Tiffany. She became my “friendly competition” and a mentor whose style I admired so much that I still hang the wreath I bought from her 30 years ago on my door every Christmas! Eleven years ago, with the support of my husband Allen, I turned that inspiration into this business. What started as a passion project became a beautiful community of friends and loyal customers.
I would love to see you all before I close this chapter. I look forward to seeing everyone at Springtime in Ohio on May 2nd & 3rd, and my final show will be at Christmas in October on October 3rd & 4th. You can find me for both events at the Hancock County Fairgrounds in Building Fa at Booth #27.

All Put Together is a talented husbandand-wife team specializing in handmade art created from reclaimed, sustainable materials. Dan Thomason utilizes a meticulous seven-step process to print, age, and distress matte paper, resulting in nostalgic, one-of-a-kind portraits featuring icons from movies, music, and television. No two of his portraits are ever exactly alike.
Complementing the paper art, Mary Beth Thomason handcrafts unique clothing and accessories from vintage finds. Her work ranges from transforming Pendleton wool blankets into stunning tote bags to unraveling old sweaters to knit 1920s-style hats. Vintage and Primitive Decor
Mary Richie has been participating in shows since the 80s and was once a regular at your events, even traveling to the Indiana location. After Hurricane Katrina, she spent a decade working at an animal sanctuary in Utah before finally moving back home to return to the craft circuit full-time.
Today, Mary averages 15 to 20 shows a year alongside her sister and niece. They are currently gearing up for the 250th anniversary with a collection of patriotic fabric items, repurposed vintage pieces, and primitive decor. Mary loves the community aspect of the shows and the chance to work closely with her family. You can find their display located in Building J at Booth 27.
At home, Mary is supervised by her Chihuahua, Poppy, and her cat, Grace. Despite his name, Grace is a male cat who takes his job as a “craft assistant” very seriously, usually by napping directly on top of Mary’s latest projects.
They say we don’t remember days, but moments. My life’s work starting Cloud Productions was built on the foundation laid by my parents, Daniel and Elaine Buser. They were the ones who turned my childhood imagination into a career, physically helping me build the very first Christmas in October. As the business expanded to Springtime in Ohio, they were right there in the trenches with me rolling up their sleeves to build whatever my vision required.
Mom stayed by my side even from afar after Dad passed, contributing her heart and her stories until her own passing in the winter of 2024. She was more than just my mother; she was the ‘O’ in Cloud.
It has now been five years since we lost Dean William Mengert, yet his presence is everywhere. Hearing vendors recall his kindness visiting their booths or helping with setup reminds me that a life well-lived never truly ends. I carry those memories of Dean and my parents with me every day; sometimes with a laugh, sometimes with a tear, but always with profound gratitude for the beautiful life we made together with family and friends.
Start of a New Adventure
Earlier this year, we decided to dive into a brand-new adventure!
It all started back in the winter of 2025 when we picked up a sentimental Magnetic Memory Pole from a friend as a Christmas gift. The reaction from the whole family was absolutely incredible—we’re talking laughs, happy tears, and all those “back in my day” stories the kids had never heard before. It was pure magic!
While we were putting the pole together, our friend mentioned he was ready to trade work for retirement and asked if we wanted to take the reins. After seeing the joy that gift brought, we knew we had to jump in! Each magnet is like a tiny time machine. Whether it’s a long-lost local landmark, a favorite restaurant, a sports team that still makes you cheer, or that childhood candy store, we’re here to help you display those happy memories.
But wait, there’s more! This isn’t Kate’s first creative rodeo. Her journey actually kicked off back in 2014 with her famous fun wreaths. She now offers officially licensed Ohio State wreaths and hosts group classes to help you master all sorts of festive designs.
