FAMILY UPDATE

Memories made with family and friends are priceless treasures that mean the most when looking back at all the laughs and tears shared with so many. This includes the last 35 years of Cloud Production shows at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. Cloud Productions has survived floodings, sunshsine, rain and snow, and one year that nearly paralyzed everyone. Cloud Productions has succeeded all these years by working closely with the city, county, health department, fairgrounds and multiple individuals to find solutions so the shows go off without a hitch as a fun, relaxing event so many are a-custom to attending. The cheerful décor and finding new and returning vendors are traditions for so many families.

When I took the leap and started Cloud Productions in 1987, I was successful because of the support of my Mom and Dad, husband Dean, and kids. Their dedication and support have been the glue to so many years of fun and success with both vendors and customers. I’ve been learning to take more time to stop and smell the roses and enjoy time with grandkids and family because memories are priceless and what fills my heart the most.
After losing the love of my life in 2020, I have been bombarded with the paperwork and emotions of finding a new normal and am hopeful that 2023 is going to be a clean slate going forward. I am thankful for friends who have helped manage the farm and help keep Cloud Productions moving forward.
Dani, Cliff and the girls and Max added a fur child to the family in 2022. A French bulldog named Moose. Recently they had a small scare with Moose going out onto the pool that was still covered and fell in.

Thankfully Dani saw him treading water and jumped in to save him. He is a good boy who travels to all softball games for the girls and has adopted himself as Cliff’s sidekick. Max is getting big and loves sports as well, but we will see if he is a soccer player, basketball player or following his sister and becoming a baseball player. Maddie and Kenzie are growing up too fast and I was able to make a few trips down to Tennessee last year to do a little shopping and ringing in the New Year. I love Nashville and all the hustle and bustle of entertainment. Dani and Cliff are Navy Vets and this year they took a family cruise. Although everyone had a blast, Cliff and Dani don’t miss sea life but they might do another cruise sometime.
fur kids Baiden and Ellie are good keepers of the little brothers, and they allow Harrison to crawl all over them without a care in the world.

Mac, Jillian, and the boys are having a great time being a little family. I have been able to pop down to Dayton quite a bit celebrating birthdays and the holidays. Harrison celebrated his 1st birthday in 2023 with a Winnie the Pooh themed party with family and neighbors. He eats everything and is happy all the time. His big brother Edison turned 3 this year and he is into everything from animals, trucks, and sports. He is a good big brother and is a spitting image of his dad. The
Over the last year I was also able to make special memories with Mom, Lani, and sisters out East. Enjoying the beach and sun is always a yes!. While there, I was able to take Mom to a nephew’s wedding where Lani even did a little dancing.
Back home I have been out and about taking in some local events over the last year with close friends. My sister Susan came out for a much-needed visit and joined me at the Dayton show.
I am looking forward to a fun summer and meeting up with the family.
