Jill Bowers, owner of JILLYCARDZ, began her artistic journey with Paint by Numbers, which honed her attention to detail and sparked a love for vibrant colors. Her artistic evolution continued with acrylic doodling, resulting in over 50 unique pieces adorning her laundry room walls. In November 2024, Jill expanded her artistic abilities by attending watercolor classes. Despite lacking formal art training, her previous efforts paid off, and she discovered a natural talent for creating small, story-filled watercolor cards. Inspired by her family’s artistic skills, including her renowned restoration architect grandfather and talented artist uncle, Bowers embraced her newfound creativity. Her journey began with barn quilt painting classes, where she found joy in creating vibrant patterns. Sewing has always been close to her heart, and now she upcycles old denim into stylish, durable bags.

Kim’s curiosity led her to invest in a Cricut machine, opening up new creative possibilities. With it, she designs unique patches to customize ball caps, adding a personal touch to each one. Always eager for the next challenge, Kim brings creativity and dedication to every piece she makes, finding joy in each new project. See Kim’s creations in Building A, Booth 80.

Love & Connection

Victoria and Shannon worked together for years, and though their careers took them in different directions, life eventually brought them back together. Both have always shared a love for crafting, and when they reconnected, they began exploring their many creative interests and exchanging ideas. While creating remains a passion, it hasn’t yet become their full-time job. They’re currently working on building a website to showcase their work. In October 2024, they decided to attend a craft show as vendors, marking the start of their journey as 2 Crazy B’s Creations. See them in Building A, Booth 32.

Grant and Brianna began making candles to enjoy custom scents and save on store-bought options. They experiment with fragrance combinations, blending multiple scents until they find the perfect mix. Grant crafted fruit-scented favorites like Grapefruit Sunrise and Vanilla Dreamsicle, while Brianna created calming scents like Mirage and Snowglobe, inspired by her love of lighting candles after cleaning or painting. After a year of refining their process, they now enjoy running this semi-part-time business together.

Beyond candle-making, Brianna has a lifelong passion for art. She began creating custom pieces in college and now hopes others will enjoy her collection as much as she does. Recently, she’s rekindled her love for knitting patchwork blankets—a skill her grandmother taught her. See them in Building B, Booth 35.

EMBROIDERY & BOOKS

Her love for reading and embroidery began around the same time. At about 7 or 8, Sandie Zimmerman’s mom taught her embroidery stitches on a pillowcase, just as she was getting into “chapter books.”

Years later, as a busy mom, she would spend evenings embroidering felt headbands for fun. Someone suggested she sell them on Etsy, and soon her shop grew, allowing her to support herself and her two children—a blessing she’s always grateful for. Craft shows and art markets followed, and she added vintage book-inspired jewelry to her collection, keeping her creativity going strong.

She’s passionate about handmade art and supporting fellow creators and hopes to keep sewing and sharing her work for years to come.

Her embroidery, ‘My Clever Gretel’, has been featured in:
